The central landscape layout is different from phase I and phase iii. The landscape of the second phase is adapted to local conditions, winding along with the site and building. Relying on the architecture, the site is naturally divided into two zones, one front and the other back. it is infused with artistic and cultural charm, while the other is interspersed with interest. The design of the second phase from the main entrance is expected to have its own characteristics, which is different from the ceremonial feeling of the entrance of the first phase and the third phase. the entrance of the second phase adds the elements of Chinese gate and waterscape to activate the whole entrance atmosphere. Entering the front court through the clubhouse is a modern Chinese garden landscape decorated with Yongquan and scenic walls. Winding roads and sunken rest platforms dotted with them leave a quiet place on the main footpath in front of the court to isolate the hustle and bustle of the city against the backdrop of the scenic wall and bamboo, which embody Chinese symbols. However, after careful taste, I suddenly discovered that in this quiet place, there was something of humor hidden in it: dripping inkstone beside the sunken rest area; Seemingly unrelated figures engraved on the wall of the scene; The west side sinking area and the east side balcony echoed end to end; It was all a thoughtful smile after an epiphany. However, whether walking along the sunken garden in the overhead floor or walking along the winding footpath, when stepping into the backcourt, another hole was suddenly discovered. Depending on the change of terrain elevation difference, the landscape of the backcourt changes back and forth between two different levels. The winding and rolling swimming pool and the majestic central main waterscape are already unforgettable memories, while walking slowly to the amusement park, you will find that there are still changes within the original cave. It can climb up and down along the terrain, run from low to high, and slide down from high. The playground has never been designed to restrict children’s use and development.
Generally speaking, the second phase is different from the third phase in that the atmosphere reverberates, turning to a small and exquisite route, while the three key words of culture, art and interest complement each other.
A single drop of water creates ripples on a pond—reverberating movement and energy throughout the surface, affecting everything all around.
The row of architecture bisects the landscape into two distinct territories – north and south. The division is turned into a duet of harmonious landscapes. As the site is narrow, the sinewy extension of the landscape creates a robust impression of space.
The north embodies the spirit of contemporary Chinese courtyard garden – poetic spaces rich with traditional symbolism embraced by modern detailing and spaces. Twelve stone walls frame the spaces and feature each character of the Chinese zodiac. As a modern touch, dynamic dashes of light shoot through the landscape enlivening the stone paths.
The south side plays with terrain as land art – graphic planes turning and undulating in all dimensions. The free open spaces suitably counterpoints the more intimate gardens of the north. Quirky light bricks playfully spill out from a tilted plane cascade, creating a novel landscape feature.
