Stu/D/O Architects is an avid tree planting enthusiast, and in his work you will inevitably encounter trees.
The experience could be walking on the treetops.
It could also be through a forest where buildings are weakened and quietly hidden in the woods. In another of his projects, you may have to compete with trees for space.
In less spacious street space, people are just tourists walking through it, trees are the resident group. Every corner of the turning point is covered with trees.
It can be said that designers like trees very much. The patio space at the entrance is specially designed for the growth of the tree. In the end, nature will give you feedback and you can enjoy its beautiful treetops standing on the platform.
Stu/D/O Architects has created many ways to get close to the tree, such as a terrace in the treetop.
In the residential project, 1819 built a small house at the treetop, so that we could walk leisurely towards the cabin, and experience the process of walking through the tree trunk and approaching the treetop slowly. In the end, you can choose to stay in the overhead cabin and have a rest.
Sometimes, people are so simple that they only need a floating path to satisfy our inner throb. And 1819 did it so directly.
After experiencing the treetop cabin, you can also choose to hide in a small space in the woods. Enjoy a quiet experience and they will be quietly placed in the woods wrapped in green. This is the case with the M Jatujak Courtyard, a Bangkok high-rise house designed by Sanitas Studio.
Hidden in the nature of the small box is scattered in the woods. Let you experience traveling through the path between the green forest and the road, and finally choose to be close to nature in the box.
And, The hanging space on the outer edge of the building can also be simple and moving.
T.R.O.P designed the backyard of the residential with flowing forest as the design concept, creating multi-dimensional and linear flow space, creating a free dimension, where you can also climb the roof step by step along the steps and enjoy the sunshine side by side with the treetops.
You can also lie in the shadow of the porch, or take a jog in the air. The IDEO O2 project designed by Redland-scape provides an amazing multi-dimensional aerobic jogging track, which connects various outdoor sports spaces and experiences in all dimensions, making it a rare event in Bangkok’s real estate market.
Through the morning light, walking through the treetops on the aerobic jogging track, I thought if I lived here, I would sleep less and exercise more outdoors. In many projects by Thai designers, you can feel a strong forest flavor, and so can the T.R.O.P project below.
The heavy structural columns in the overhead floor remind me of the tall trees in the forest. The overhead area is like a forest under-forest space covered with sunlight by a crown. Despite its lack of sunlight, nature still has many plants that thrive in this difficult environment, such as shade – loving ferns.
The structural column of the sequence has a strong sense of unity and belonging with the natural straight trunk.
What’s it like when a designer brings this rainforest space into a mall?
The Mega Bangna food street inner court landscape designed by Landscape Collaboration is an extended semi-outdoor expansion area. The project ” Linking City Life with Nature through Mobile Shopping Experience” is a relaxing outdoor theater composed of wooden steps, bringing tourists into a vibrant, forest-like food and beverage commercial walkway space. Through interactive landscape devices, tourists can have a pleasant experience in a comfortable microclimate environment.
The designed ” forest” uses plants with subtropical to tropical climate as the environmental palette, including delicate ferns and moss, to create a unique commercial landscape atmosphere, integrating the surrounding restaurants with natural green.
The forest corridor through commercial , the experiential plank road floating on the water and the huge marble slab road intersect, showing exquisite and unrefined material forms and double contrast with different colors. The Central Festival East Ville landscape in Bangkok designed by LAB will give you a different forest visual experience.
Jungle and treetop are always desirable. When it appears in commercial space, it will make you feel like crossing. The Central Festival East Ville designed by LAB Landscape Design Office is located in the east side of Bangkok, Thailand, covering an area of 8.2 hectares and spending 6 billion baht. The space design of the entire shopping center integrates the metropolitan style of many large cities, such as new york, London and Tokyo, and skillfully uses the indoor and outdoor space to create a metropolitan shopping center like a residential community, allowing people to enjoy the comfortable scenery of green trees and trees while shopping and create a pleasant atmosphere.
Relaxed animals do not seem to be disturbed. The new natural experience has become the theme of the Central Arts Festival. Landscape design combines the new experience of shopping in natural environment and plants, and combines these natural elements with animal handicrafts to create an atmosphere of ” urban jungle”.
Even in a space full of plants, you will inadvertently meet with a quiet and relaxing corner. Let the rest space closely combine with the jungle. In this Park project designed by Shma, a wave bridge in the form of a static sculpture will soon take you across an ecological wetland.
Its essence is a floating bridge, and its function is the carrier of people who travel through it. The undulating fence is just the coat it wraps around, allowing it to successfully blend into nature.
Another project designed by Shma, Mori HAUS resort offers not only a small urban forest for the occupants, but also a highly integrated urban residential environment and natural habitat.
The community has created a multi-dimensional space to provide residents with a roof lounge and a perfect environment for ecology and entertainment in the tropical green space.
Mori HAUS is the second permanent house under the Sansiri “HAUS” brand, which combines modern architecture with natural elements. The low-rise apartment incorporates elements of nature in its design, such as natural stone flooring, as well as interior decoration and rose gold materials that make full use of natural light.
The above shared art blocks, houses, businesses and wetland parks, while the following shared a school project wrapped in forest.
