The landscape for Livia Residence is designed as a series of distinct yet connected spaces that gradually unfolds as one moves through the site. A central water landscape with a riverine ‘spine’ slices through the centre of the site, adorned by floral courtyards and themed gardens to complement the contemporary geometry of the useable spaces. Connected by bridges and walkways, the central landscape areas give way to an elegant composition of spa alcoves, an aqua gym and a pool lounge flanked by pavilions and sun decks, allowing residents to pass through layers of water and lush planting. A trail to the end of the site ends by a canal. Here, a park connector runs alongside, where a children’s play area with climbing ropes has been created. A small rain garden retains runoff water and through a series of filtration systems, release cleansed water into the canal.
