XO Architects<\/strong><\/a>:\u00a0Mouttalos is a picturesque Turkish neighborhood of the so-called \u201cKtima\u201d in Paphos, 2km from the coast that stands out for its\u2019 special rock and natural caves that separates the city from the \u2018Up-\u03a0\u03ac\u03bd\u03c9\u2019 and \u2018Down-\u039a\u03ac\u03c4\u03c9\u2019 – Paphos. The war that occurred in the island in 1974 changed everything, and the Turkish Cypriots, with the ex-change of populations, abandoned their home to the northern areas of the island, leaving this part of the city deserted while making the area a living museum of the not so far past.\u00a0At the same time Greek Cypriots left the Northern part of the island to live \u201ctemporarily\u201d in Mouttalos ever since, since they are waiting to return to their homes in the North, with all the impact this may have on the form of space. More specifically the project intervenes on a route with three key areas, the Mosque Area in Fellahoglu street, the main square Ismet Inonu Square and the Caves area.<\/p>\n

\u4e3a\u63d0\u5347\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u793e\u533a\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u8d28\u91cf\uff0c\u6e05\u771f\u5bfa\u533a\u66f4\u5e7f\u9614\u7684\u5730\u5e26\u4e0a\u5efa\u7acb\u8d77\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u690d\u7269\u56ed\u3001\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c0f\u5e7f\u573a\u548c\u4e00\u4e2a\u516c\u5171\u5c55\u4ead\u3002Ismet Inonu\u5e7f\u573a\u533a\u7ecf\u8fc7\u518d\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u6210\u4e3a\u4e86\u80fd\u5438\u5f15\u5c45\u6c11\u548c\u6e38\u5ba2\u524d\u6765\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u666f\u70b9\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u7f13\u89e3\u4e86\u4ea4\u901a\u538b\u529b\uff0c\u4f7f\u573a\u5730\u7a7a\u95f4\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u53ef\u4ee5\u7528\u4e8e\u96c6\u4f1a\u548c\u5a31\u4e50\u6d3b\u52a8\u3002<\/p>\n

In the wider area of the Mosque, a botanical garden, a small square, and a public pavilion have been proposed to enhance the previous non-existing neighborhood public space quality.\u00a0Ismet Inonu square, was redesigned in-order to become a pole of attraction for residents and visitors while at the same time decongest cars to make space usable for events and recreation.<\/p>\n

\u77f3\u7a9f\u516c\u56ed\u662f\u5927\u5e15\u798f\u65af\u5730\u533a\u5730\u8c8c\u7cfb\u5217\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u5b83\u4e0d\u540c\u4e8e\u8be5\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u5176\u4ed6\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u662f\u5f53\u5730\u4e00\u4e2a\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u548c\u6587\u5316\u666f\u89c2\u533a\u3002\u6728\u8d28\u7684\u3001\u538b\u571f\u7684\u4ee5\u53ca\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u548c\u5c0f\u8def\uff0c\u5e7f\u573a\u4e0a\u5e26\u6709\u5c0f\u9910\u5385\u3001\u536b\u751f\u95f4\u548c\u906e\u9634\u68da\u7684\u516c\u5171\u5c55\u4ead\uff0c\u90fd\u4e00\u5b9a\u7a0b\u5ea6\u4e0a\u63d0\u9ad8\u4e86\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u5229\u7528\u7387\u3002<\/p>\n

Last but not least, the caves park, which are part of the wider geomorphological aspect of the flap that characterizes the landscape of the greater Paphos area, is an important landscape of both natural and cultural importance, distinct from various parts of the city. The landscapes and trails of wood, pressed earth, concrete, and a square with a pavilion with a small canteen and hygienic spaces and shades create the conditions to enhance the usage of the space.<\/p>\n
