ar-Architects<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aSteel Grove\u623f\u5b50\u7684\u4e3b\u4eba\u662f\u4e00\u5bf9\u592b\u5987\u548c\u4e24\u4e2a\u5927\u5b66\u751f\u3002\u5ba2\u6237\u7684\u8981\u6c42\u5f88\u7b80\u5355\uff1a\u4e24\u4e2a\u505c\u8f66\u573a\u3001\u4e00\u4e2a\u82b1\u56ed\u3001\u4e00\u4e2a\u79c1\u4eba\u6d74\u5ba4\u548c\u5e26\u66f4\u8863\u5ba4\u7684\u5367\u5ba4\u3002\u5ba2\u6237\u672c\u4eba\u5bf9\u56ed\u827a\u4e5f\u5f88\u611f\u5174\u8da3\u3002\u9879\u76ee\u573a\u5730\u4f4d\u4e8e\u57ce\u9547\u4f4f\u5b85\u533a\uff0c\u4f4f\u5b85\u76f8\u4e92\u73af\u7ed5\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u60f3\u521b\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u65e2\u80fd\u63d0\u4f9b\u8db3\u591f\u7684\u9690\u79c1\uff0c\u53c8\u80fd\u4e0e\u5468\u56f4\u73af\u5883\u4fdd\u6301\u67d0\u79cd\u8054\u7cfb\u7684\u623f\u5b50\u3002<\/p>\n

ar-Architects<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aSteel Grove is a house for a couple and two university students. Client\u2019s request was simple: two parking lots, a garden, a private bathroom and a dress-room for each bedroom. The client was also very interested in gardening. The site is located in a town house neighbourhood where houses surrounds each other. We wanted to create a house that provides enough privacy and yet has some kind of relationship with the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

\u4ece\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u6784\u6210\u6765\u770b\uff0cSteel Grove\u662f\u5bf9\u97e9\u56fd\u4f20\u7edf\u4f4f\u5b85\u7684\u73b0\u4ee3\u8be0\u91ca\u3002\u97e9\u56fd\u4eba\u7684\u4e3b\u6d41\u4f4f\u623f\u662f\u201c\u516c\u5bd3\u201d\uff0c\u8d85\u8fc790%\u7684\u97e9\u56fd\u4eba\u4f4f\u5728\u516c\u5bd3\u6216\u7c7b\u4f3c\u516c\u5bd3\u7684\u623f\u5b50\u91cc\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e9b\u529f\u80fd\u6027\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u533a\u57df\u901a\u5e38\u6ca1\u6709\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u800c\u4f20\u7edf\u7684\u97e9\u56fd\u623f\u5c4b\u5305\u542b\u5404\u79cd\u5404\u6837\u7684\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\uff1a\u524d\u9662\u3001\u540e\u9662\u3001taenmaru(\u6cbf\u623f\u95f4\u5ef6\u4f38\u7684\u72ed\u7a84\u6728\u5eca)\u548cdaecheongmaru(\u4e3b\u5eca)\u3002\u6bcf\u4e2a\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\u5bf9\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u623f\u95f4\u6709\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u529f\u80fd\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u67d0\u4e9b\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\u751a\u81f3\u4e0e\u6805\u680f\u5916\u7684\u8857\u9053\u6709\u8054\u7cfb\u3002<\/p>\n

Steel Grove is a modern translation of a traditional Korean house in terms of how exterior spaces are composed. The mainstream housing for Koreans are \u201cthe apartments\u201d. More than 90 percent of Korean population lives in apartments or houses that resemble apartments. These functional living machines don\u2019t have exterior spaces. Traditional Korean houses have various exterior spaces; front yard, backyard, taenmaru (narrow wooden porch running along the outside of a room), daecheongmaru (main porch). Each exterior spaces have different function to different rooms. Furthermore, some exterior spaces even have relations with the streets outside the fence.<\/p>\n

Steel Grove\u6709\u5404\u79cd\u5404\u6837\u7684\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u4e0e\u4f20\u7edf\u97e9\u56fd\u4f4f\u5b85\u7684\u7279\u5f81\u7c7b\u4f3c\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\u90fd\u76f8\u4e92\u5173\u8054\uff0c\u5bf9\u6bcf\u4e2a\u623f\u95f4\u90fd\u6709\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u529f\u80fd\u4f5c\u7528\u3002\u5f53\u4f60\u6253\u5f00\u4e3b\u95e8\uff0c\u8fdb\u5165\u4e00\u4e2a\u5f00\u653e\u7684\u5c4b\u9876\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7a7a\u95f4\u901a\u8fc7\u4e2d\u5ead\u8fde\u63a5\u9910\u5385\uff0c\u4e2d\u5ead\u53c8\u4e0e\u8ddf\u5ba2\u5385\u76f8\u8fde\u7684\u524d\u82b1\u56ed\u76f8\u8fde\u3002\u524d\u82b1\u56ed\u4e5f\u4e0e\u4e8c\u697c\u7684\u5e73\u53f0\u76f8\u8fde\u3002\u867d\u7136\u7684\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u5916\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\u4f4d\u4e8e\u623f\u5b50\u7684\u4e00\u4fa7\uff0c\u5e76\u4e0e\u623f\u5b50\u5185\u90e8\u4e00\u8d77\u53d1\u6325\u4f5c\u7528\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5357\u7acb\u9762\u548c\u5357\u82b1\u56ed\u8bd5\u56fe\u4e0e\u5468\u56f4\u7684\u8857\u9053\u521b\u5efa\u6c9f\u901a\u4e0e\u8054\u7cfb\u3002<\/p>\n

Steel Grove has various exterior spaces that resembles the characteristics of a traditional Korean house. Each exterior space relates with each other and has different function to individual rooms. When you open the main door, you enter an open roofed space, and that space is connected by an atrium to the dining room. That atrium also relates to the front garden which is connected by the living room. The front garden is also related to the 2nd floor\u2019s deck. While most of exterior spaces in <Steel Grove> are located in-side the house and function with-in the house, the south fa\u00e7ade and the south garden, however, tries to relate, or to communicate, with the streets of the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u8bbe\u8ba1\u9762\u5411\u56db\u8f66\u9053\u9053\u8def\u7684\u5357\u7acb\u9762\u65f6\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u8bd5\u56fe\u5728\u5efa\u7acb\u90bb\u91cc\u8054\u7cfb\u7684\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u7ed9\u4eba\u8425\u9020\u4e00\u79cd\u9690\u79c1\u611f\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u521b\u5efa\u9690\u79c1\u611f\uff0c\u4f60\u9700\u8981\u5173\u95ed\u4e00\u4e2a\u7acb\u9762\uff0c\u800c\u4e3a\u4e86\u5efa\u7acb\u8054\u7cfb\uff0c\u4f60\u53c8\u9700\u8981\u6253\u5f00\u4e00\u4e2a\u7acb\u9762\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e24\u4e2a\u95ee\u9898\u5929\u751f\u77db\u76fe\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u89e3\u51b3\u8fd9\u4e24\u4e2a\u77db\u76fe\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u63d0\u51fa\u4e86\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u3002\u7ecf\u8fc7\u591a\u6b21\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u4ee5\u4e0d\u9508\u94a2\u7ba1\u9053\u7684\u5f62\u5f0f\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u8fd9\u65e2\u8425\u9020\u4e86\u4e00\u79cd\u79c1\u5bc6\u6027\uff0c\u53c8\u4e0e\u81ea\u7136\u548c\u5468\u8fb9\u73af\u5883\u76f8\u8054\u7cfb\u3002\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u75314\u79cd\u4e0d\u540c\u7c7b\u578b\u7684\u4e0d\u9508\u94a2\u7ba1\u7ec4\u6210\uff0c\u4e3a\u4e86\u627e\u5230\u6700\u7a33\u5b9a\u7684\u5e73\u8861\uff0c\u5b83\u4eec\u90fd\u662f\u7ecf\u8fc7\u4e86\u591a\u6b21\u6837\u54c1\u5236\u4f5c\u540e\u624d\u751f\u4ea7\u51fa\u6765\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

We tried to give a sense of privacy while creating a relationship with the neighbourhood when designing the south fa\u00e7ade, which faces a four lane road. In order to create privacy, one needs to close a fa\u00e7ade. In order to create a relationship, one needs to open a fa\u00e7ade. These two characters innately contradict each other. We came up with the idea of \u201cSteel Grove\u201d to solve the two contradicting qualities. After many studies, the \u201cSteel Grove\u201d was designed in the form of a stain-less steel pipe, which not only creates a sense of privacy, but also relates to the nature and the neighbourhood. The \u201cSteel Grove\u201d is made of 4 different types of stain-less steel pipe. It was produced after many sample productions in order to find the most stable balance.<\/p>\n

\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u4e0d\u4ec5\u89e3\u51b3\u4e86\u4f4f\u5b85\u7684\u529f\u80fd\u6027\u95ee\u9898\uff0c\u8fd8\u8bd5\u56fe\u4e0e\u9644\u8fd1\u7684\u8857\u9053\u5efa\u7acb\u4e00\u79cd\u65b0\u578b\u7684\u5173\u7cfb\u3002\u5f53\u592a\u9633\u5347\u8d77\u65f6\uff0c\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u5c31\u4f1a\u8131\u9896\u800c\u51fa\uff0c\u5145\u5f53\u7acb\u9762\u7684\u89d2\u8272\uff1b\u5f53\u4f60\u8fdb\u5165\u623f\u95f4\u65f6\uff0c\u76f4\u5c04\u7684\u592a\u9633\u5149\u88ab\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u5de7\u5999\u5730\u6563\u5c04\uff1b\u5f53\u592a\u9633\u4e0b\u5c71\u65f6\uff0c\u623f\u95f4\u91cc\u7684\u5149\u7ebf\u900f\u8fc7\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e0e\u767d\u5929\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u7acb\u9762\u5f62\u5f0f\u3002\u8be5\u7acb\u9762\u7684\u53d8\u5316\u4e3a\u8857\u9053\u521b\u9020\u4e86\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u73af\u5883\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u8bd5\u56fe\u901a\u8fc7\u8fd9\u6837\u6765\u8be0\u91ca\u623f\u5b50\u548c\u5468\u8fb9\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u5173\u7cfb\u3002<\/p>\n

The \u201cSteel Grove\u201d not only solves the functional aspect of the house but also tries to create a new type of relation with the streets of the neighbourhood. When the sun is up, the \u201cSteel Grove\u201d stands out and acts as the fa\u00e7ade. The direct sun light is delicately scattered by the \u201cSteel Grove\u201d when entering the room. When the sun is down, the lights from the rooms permeates through the \u201cSteel Grove\u201d generating a different fa\u00e7ade from the daytime. The fa\u00e7ade changes create a different environment for the street trough times of the day. By doing so we tried to give a relation-ship between the house and the neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

\u5f53\u6211\u4eec\u5f00\u59cb\u6316\u6398\u5de5\u7a0b\u65f6\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u53d1\u73b0\u4e86\u4e00\u5835\u201c\u671d\u9c9c\u738b\u671d\u201d\u65f6\u671f\u7684\u57ce\u5899\u5730\u57fa\u3002\u8fd9\u5835\u201c\u5899\u201d\u8c61\u5f81\u7740\u4fdd\u62a4\u548c\u5b9e\u65bd\u6700\u5148\u8fdb\u7684\u6280\u672f\uff0c\u4ee5\u6700\u5927\u9650\u5ea6\u5730\u53d1\u6325\u4fdd\u62a4\u7684\u529f\u80fd\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u8fd8\u8bd5\u56fe\u5c06\u201c\u5899\u201d\u7684\u542b\u4e49\u878d\u5165\u5230\u8bbe\u8ba1\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u8fd0\u7528\u6211\u4eec\u6240\u80fd\u627e\u5230\u7684\u6700\u5148\u8fdb\u7684\u65bd\u5de5\u65b9\u6cd5\u6765\u4fdd\u62a4\u623f\u5b50\u514d\u53d7\u65e5\u5e38\u5371\u5bb3\u3002<\/p>\n

When we started to dig, we found a foundation for a wall from \u201cJoseon Dynasty\u201d. A \u201cwall\u201d symbolizes protection and implementation of the most advanced technology to maximize that function of protection. We tried to integrate the meaning of a \u201cwall\u201d in the designing process in terms of applying protection of the house from the everyday hazard and using the most advanced construction method we could find.<\/p>\n

A \u201cwall\u201d from Joseon Dynasty protected its city from external forces; mainly from war. The fence of a \u201cSteel Grove\u201d works like the wall from Joseon Dynasty in a more intimate scale. While the wall from Joseon Dynasty protected its citizens from war, the fence of \u201csteel grove\u201d protects the family from external hazards.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u7684\u804c\u4e1a\u751f\u6daf\u4e2d\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u9047\u5230\u4e86\u97e9\u56fd\u6700\u597d\u7684\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u65bd\u5de5\u56e2\u961f\u548c\u6700\u5148\u8fdb\u7684\u91d1\u5c5e\u5236\u9020\u56e2\u961f\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u5f88\u8363\u5e78\u8ba4\u8bc6\u8fd9\u4e9b\u56e2\u961f\uff0c\u4e86\u89e3\u201cSteel Grove\u201d\u7684\u7ec6\u8282\u3002<\/p>\n

Throughout our careers as an architect, we met one of the best concrete construction team and the most sophisticated metalsmith team in South Korea. We were privileged to know these teams to realize the details of the \u201cSteel Grove\u201d.<\/p>\n
