UNStudio<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aThe Scotts Tower SOHO apartment building is situated on a prime location in Singapore, close to the Orchard Road luxury shopping district and with views encompassing both nearby parkland and the panoramic cityscape of Singapore City. The 18,500m2, 31-storey, 231-unit tower consists of 1 to 3-bedroom apartments and 4-bedroom penthouses, along with expansive landscaped gardens, sky terraces, penthouse roof gardens and a variety of recreational facilities. Ben van Berkel: “An interesting facet of The Scotts Tower is the way that it reacts to the urban context of Singapore. Instead of the more usual means of planning a city horizontally, we have created neighbourhoods in the sky: a vertical city where each zone has its own distinct identity.”<\/p>\n

The concept of The Scotts Tower is that of a vertical city incorporating a variety of residence types and scales. In addition, outdoor green areas in the form of sky terraces, penthouse roof gardens and individual balconies form an important element of the design. The vertical city concept is interpreted on the tower in three scales; the \u2018city\u2019, the \u2018neighbourhood\u2019 and the \u2018home\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u5782\u76f4\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u4e0e\u7eff\u5316\u533a\u57df\u901a\u8fc7\u4e24\u79cd\u5f62\u5f0f\u7d27\u6263\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff1a\u201c\u5782\u76f4\u6846\u67b6\u201d\u548c\u201c\u5929\u7a7a\u6846\u67b6\u201d\u3002\u5782\u76f4\u6846\u67b6\u4ee5\u57ce\u5e02\u65b9\u5f0f\u7ec4\u7ec7\u5854\u697c\u3002\u5b83\u5c06\u5854\u697c\u6574\u5408\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u201c\u5782\u76f4\u57ce\u5e02\u201d\uff0c\u5c06\u56db\u4e2a\u4f4f\u5b85\u7fa4\u5212\u5206\u4e3a\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u5c0f\u533a\u3002<\/p>\n

The three elements of the vertical city concept, along with the green areas, are bound together by two gestures: the \u2018vertical frame\u2019 and the \u2018sky frames\u2019.\u2028The vertical frame organises the tower architecturally in an urban manner. This frame affords the tower the vertical city effect by dividing the four residential clusters into different neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

\u5c0f\u533a\u2028 Neighbourhoods<\/p>\n

\u56db\u4e2a\u76f8\u4e92\u5806\u53e0\u7684\u4f4f\u5b85\u7fa4\u4f53\u88ab\u8bbe\u8ba1\u6210\u4e0d\u540c\u529f\u80fd\u548c\u5b9a\u5236\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u6a21\u5f0f\u3002 \u4e00\u5367\u5ba4\u57ce\u5e02\u9601\u697c\u516c\u5bd3\u4f4d\u4e8e\u7684\u8f83\u4f4e\u7684\u5929\u7a7a\u6846\u67b6\u4e0a\u65b9\uff0c\u7ec4\u6210\u5854\u697c\u7684\u4f4e\u5c42\u90e8\u4efd\u3002\u7b2c\u4e8c\u7ec4\u57ce\u5e02\u666f\u89c2\u5355\u4f4d\uff08\u4e24\u5c45\u5ba4\u516c\u5bd3\uff09\u9762\u5411\u76f8\u90bb\u7684\u826f\u6728\u5c71(Goodwood Hill)\uff0c\u4f4d\u4e8e\u4e00\u5367\u5ba4\u516c\u5bd3\u4e4b\u4e0a\u3002\u7136\u540e\u662f\u56ed\u666f\u5355\u4f4d\uff0c\u7f6e\u4e8e\u7b2c\u4e8c\u4e2a\u5929\u7a7a\u6846\u67b6\u4e0a\u65b9\u3002\u800c\u5854\u697c\u6700\u540e\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f4f\u5b85\u7fa4\u4f53\u5305\u542b\u4e86\u4e09\u4e2a\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u697c\u9876\u516c\u5bd3\uff0c\u5e76\u62e5\u6709\u79c1\u4eba\u5c4b\u9876\u9633\u53f0\u3002<\/p>\n

The four residential clusters that are stacked on top of each other are each designed for versatile and customised living. Situated above the lower sky frame, the one bedroom City Loft residences pixelate the lower tower.<\/p>\n

The second cluster of the City View units (two bedroom apartments) face the adjacent Goodwool hill on the lower part of the tower and continue above the first package.<\/p>\n

Park View units form the next cluster, above the second sky frame. Crowning the tower is the final cluster containing three exclusive Penthouse residences that also have private rooftop terraces.<\/p>\n
