Lab D+H<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u5e7f\u5dde\u4e07\u79d1\u4e91\u57ce\u4e8c\u671f\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u96c6\u516c\u5bd3\u3001\u4f01\u4e1a\u5b75\u5316\u5668\u3001\u5b66\u6821\u4e0e\u5546\u4e1a\u4e8e\u4e00\u8eab\u7684\u5148\u950b\u793e\u533a\u7efc\u5408\u4f53\uff0c\u5176\u5ba2\u6237\u4eba\u7fa4\u4ee5\u9752\u5e74\u548c\u5e74\u8f7b\u5bb6\u5ead\u4e3a\u4e3b\u4f53\u3002\u5c3d\u7ba1\u56e0\u529f\u80fd\u4e0d\u540c\u800c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5404\u4e0d\u76f8\u540c\uff0c\u666f\u89c2\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u6784\u5efa\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b8c\u6574\u800c\u4e30\u5bcc\u7684\u201c\u50cf\u7d20\u793e\u533a\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n

Lab D+H<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aGuangzhou Vanke Cloud City Phase 2 is a pioneer mixed-use development which is comprised of a diverse blend of affordable housing, small apartments, incubator offices, a shopping mall and a middle school. Even with all these different elements, landscape architects formulated a complete and rich “pixel community” with a unified landscape framework.<\/p>\n

\u5e7f\u573a\u6574\u4f53\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u6846\u67b6\u90fd\u57fa\u4e8e\u4e00\u4e2a\u50cf\u7d20\u5316\u7684\u7f51\u683c\u7cfb\u7edf\uff0c\u4e3a\u5e74\u8f7b\u7684\u4f7f\u7528\u7fa4\u4f53\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e92\u52a8\u800c\u7075\u6d3b\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u6807\u5fd7\u6027\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u8bed\u8a00\u4e3a\u793e\u533a\u5e26\u6765\u4e86\u6781\u5177\u8fa8\u8bc6\u6027\u7684\u573a\u6240\u8eab\u4efd\u3002\u897f\u5730\u5757\u897f\u5317\u89d2\u7684Tetris\u5e7f\u573a\uff08\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u65b9\u5757\u5e7f\u573a\uff09\uff0c\u5360\u57306000\u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\uff0c\u662f\u793e\u533a\u5185\u6700\u5927\u7684\u516c\u5171\u5f00\u653e\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u4f5c\u4e3a\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u516c\u5171\u7ebd\u5e26\u7d27\u5bc6\u8054\u7ed3\u7740\u6574\u4e2a\u9752\u5e74\u793e\u533a\u3002<\/p>\n

The framework is based on a\u00a0pixelated grid system that not only provides flexible use space but also\u00a0maintains\u00a0a strong community identity. In the northwest corner\u00a0of the grid\u00a0is Tetris Square,\u00a0the name of which was proposed by\u00a0the landscape architects,\u00a0and later accepted by the client. Tetris Square,\u00a0with a size of\u00a0six thousand\u00a0square meters, is the largest public space of this young community.<\/p>\n

Tetris\u5e7f\u573a\u5c3d\u7ba1\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5546\u4e1a\u5e7f\u573a\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u76ee\u6807\u662f\u5c06\u5176\u8bbe\u8ba1\u6210\u4e00\u5ea7\u8ff7\u4f60\u516c\u56ed\uff0c\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u6761\u8054\u7ed3\u4ee5\u6838\u5fc3\u5bb6\u5ead\uff08\u4e09\u53e3\u4e4b\u5bb6\uff09\u4e3a\u4e3b\u4f53\u7684\u4e91\u57ce\u793e\u533a\u548c\u5468\u8fb9\u793e\u533a\u7684\u7ebd\u5e26\u3002\u5728\u901a\u5f80\u5546\u4e1a\u5efa\u7b51\u8d70\u5eca\u7684\u4e24\u4fa7\uff0c\u5206\u5e03\u4e86\u7b26\u5408\u5404\u4e2a\u5e74\u9f84\u5c42\u7684\u513f\u7ae5\u6e38\u4e50\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u5176\u4e2d\uff0c\u4eb2\u5b50\u53e3\u888b\u4e3a\u5468\u8fb9\u793e\u533a\u7684\u5bb6\u957f\u4e0e\u513f\u7ae5\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e92\u52a8\u7684\u573a\u6240\uff0c\u4fc3\u8fdb\u5bb6\u957f\u4e0e\u5b69\u5b50\u7684\u6237\u5916\u4ea4\u6d41\u3002\u81ea\u7531\u5c9b\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f9b\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u7528\u8eab\u4f53\u53bb\u63a2\u7d22\u4e0d\u540c\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u4e09\u7ef4\u6e38\u4e50\u5c9b\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u6574\u4e2a\u5e7f\u573a\u4e2d\u4f53\u9a8c\u6700\u4e3a\u4e30\u5bcc\u7684\u573a\u6240\u3002\u573a\u5730\u91cc\u7684\u4e91\u5e54\u3001\u4e91\u4e18\u548c\u4e91\u4ead\uff0c\u4e0d\u4ec5\u7f13\u89e3\u4e86\u5e7f\u573a\u7684\u4eba\u6d41\u538b\u529b\uff0c\u8fd8\u4e3a\u5e74\u8f7b\u4eba\u548c\u5bb6\u957f\u5bfb\u627e\u5c5e\u4e8e\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u573a\u6240\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u3002\u5546\u573a\u524d\u7684\u6237\u5916\u5267\u573a\uff0c\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4e3a\u5546\u4e1a\u6d3b\u52a8\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e8b\u4ef6\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e3a\u516d\u5c42\u7684\u5b66\u6821\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u6237\u5916\u8bfe\u5802\u573a\u6240\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u529f\u80fd\u573a\u6240\u7ec4\u6210\u7684\u4e00\u5ea7\u8ff7\u4f60\u793e\u533a\u516c\u56ed\uff0c\u4e5f\u6210\u4e3a\u5468\u8fb9\u793e\u533a\u4ec5\u6709\u7684\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n

Even though\u00a0established in front of\u00a0a commercial plaza, the Tetris Square is designed as a park, connecting the Cloud City and adjacent communities. There are playgrounds for different ages on both sides\u00a0of the square corridor,\u00a0catering to the desires of its\u00a0major users\u00a0\u2013\u00a0the\u00a0nuclear-family. The Family Pocket is a place where kids and parents interact with a series of hammocks. The Free Island is a\u00a0three-dimensional\u00a0play facility\u00a0for kids to explore spaces\u00a0and exercise\u00a0their bodies. Other design elements such as the Cloud Curtain, the Cloud Mount and the Cloud Pavilion provide more possibilities for young people and parents to choose\u00a0from. The amphitheater in front of the shopping mall not only provides event space for commercial activities, but also\u00a0can serve as an\u00a0outdoor classroom for the middle school.\u00a0Linking this\u00a0series of spaces,\u00a0with\u00a0all their\u00a0various programs,\u00a0forms\u00a0a mini-park that serves the adjacent community.<\/p>\n

Compared to\u00a0a\u00a0traditional commercial plaza, the Tetris Square has a decent\u00a0number\u00a0of trees. Landscape architects “hide”\u00a0this\u00a0grove\u00a0by integrating it into the\u00a0play facility. This does not follow\u00a0the\u00a0traditional design principle of\u00a0a\u00a0commercial plaza, which is to\u00a0plant as\u00a0few\u00a0trees as possible\u00a0to optimize\u00a0storefront views. The strategy is successful, as it mingles\u00a0people and shade\u00a0in\u00a0the shopping mall\u00a0area,\u00a0which is\u00a0especially important for\u00a0this\u00a0tropical and humid climate. From the sidewalks approaching\u00a0the shopping mall, the trees are arranged in a dense-to-sparse\u00a0gradient order, with openings that lead to the mall. Two fully developed, shady\u00a0trees sit on\u00a0each\u00a0side of the main corridor, enhancing\u00a0the\u00a0visual beauty of the corridor.\u00a0At the\u00a0same\u00a0time, the spaces of\u00a0the\u00a0Family Pocket and Free Island are designed and developed based\u00a0around the presence of\u00a0these two trees. Groves of trees around the Cloud Curtain, sand pool and the Cloud Mount provide\u00a0varying degrees\u00a0of shade for kids and parents\u00a0as they enjoy the facilities. The grove will\u00a0continue to\u00a0grow with the community,\u00a0enhancing the\u00a0children’s wonderful moments spent in the site\u00a0into the future.<\/p>\n

In this project,\u00a0a\u00a0low construction budget\u00a0was not seen as a constraint\u00a0or an embarrassment;\u00a0on the contrary, it\u00a0was\u00a0one of the main driving forces of the design\u00a0principles. The grid system of\u00a0squares\u00a0not only makes\u00a0material fabrication and arrangement much cheaper, but also make construction\u00a0costs\u00a0more\u00a0predictable and\u00a0controllable, especially in China where construction quality is\u00a0often\u00a0unpredictable.\u00a0Assembled precast concrete outdoor furniture is used extensively in this project. Landscape architects designed only two basic precast concrete modules, which could be\u00a0mixed and matched, and\u00a0assembled into more than\u00a0twenty\u00a0different combinations. Users can\u00a0select\u00a0the most comfortable furniture combination to meet their needs,\u00a0which appeals strongly to a younger user\u00a0and their inclinations. Besides precast concrete furniture, landscape architects\u00a0also\u00a0selected\u00a0precast concrete pavers for\u00a0paving the site.\u00a0This decision was driven by economic reasons, as the precast units are\u00a0about one-third of\u00a0the\u00a0stone paver\u2019s\u00a0unit price in\u00a0the\u00a0current market, as well as\u00a0for the\u00a0environmental\u00a0considerations, where\u00a0natural stone is over-exploited\u00a0in China.<\/p>\n
