Sikora Wells Appel<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u6717\u4f0d\u5fb7\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u4e1c\u65b9\u97f3\u4e50\u5e7f\u573a\u6539\u9020\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u805a\u96c6\u6216\u8fdb\u884c\u97f3\u4e50\u8868\u6f14\u7684\u5e86\u795d\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5b83\u65e2\u53ef\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u79cd\u6b63\u5f0f\u7684\u82b1\u56ed\u89c2\u8d4f\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u4e5f\u53ef\u4ee5\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u4eba\u72ec\u81ea\u4eab\u53d7\u7684\u9759\u8c27\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5305\u62ec\u5efa\u5728\u666f\u89c2\u5730\u5f62\u91cc\u7684\u65b0\u5efa\u7b51\uff0c\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u5360\u5730\u9762\u79ef\u8d85\u8fc7\u4e86\u4e09\u82f1\u4ea9\u3002\u7531\u4e94\u4e2a\u7cbe\u786e\u6210\u578b\u7684\u68af\u5f62\u5e73\u53f0\u7ec4\u6210\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u5730\u5f62\uff0c\u5c06\u73b0\u6709\u7684\u97f3\u4e50\u5b66\u9662\u5efa\u7b51\u8f74\u7ebf\u5411\u5357\u5ef6\u4f38\u81f3\u4e3b\u9898\u82b1\u56ed\u548c\u55b7\u6cc9\u82b1\u56ed\uff0c\u5e76\u5c06\u5176\u76f4\u7ebf\u51e0\u4f55\u5f62\u6001\u8f6c\u5316\u4e3a\u66f2\u7ebf\u548c\u81ea\u7531\u6d41\u52a8\u7684\u7ebf\u6761\u5f62\u5f0f\u3002\u65b0\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u4f4d\u4e8e\u5730\u5f62\u4e4b\u4e0b\uff0c\u4ece\u5e7f\u573a\u4e0a\u4ec5\u80fd\u770b\u5230\u5b83\u7684\u73bb\u7483\u5c4b\u9876\u3002<\/p>\n

The project area encompasses over three acres and includes a new comfort station building buried in a sculpted landform. The landform is composed of five precisely formed terraces and sweeps the existing Conservatory axis southwards towards the topiary and fountain gardens, transforming the rectilinear geometry of the Conservatory into curvilinear, free-flowing lines. The new structure is partially buried beneath the landform, with only a glimpse of its glass roof visible from the plaza.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u8d70\u5eca\u5185\u90e8\uff0c\u51e0\u4e4e\u6240\u6709\u7684\u5782\u76f4\u7acb\u9762\u90fd\u79cd\u690d\u4e86\u7acb\u4f53\u7eff\u5316\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e2a\u516c\u5395\u90fd\u63a9\u6620\u5728\u90c1\u90c1\u8471\u8471\u7684\u79cd\u690d\u7eff\u5899\u4e4b\u4e2d\u3002\u7eff\u8272\u7684\u5899\u58c1\u5c06\u6e38\u5ba2\u88f9\u631f\u5728\u4e30\u5bcc\u7684\u690d\u88ab\u7ec7\u9526\u4e2d\u524d\u8fdb\uff0c\u76f4\u81f3\u8d70\u5eca\u5c3d\u5934\u5904\u7684\u9759\u9762\u6c34\u666f\u3002<\/p>\n

Inside the corridor, a planted green wall covers nearly all vertical surfaces, with the doors to each comfort station sunk in lush walls of planting. The green wall encloses visitors in a rich tapestry of vegetation and culminates at a still water feature.<\/p>\n

As the lead designers on the project, the landscape architects used the landscape to inform the building, rather than the other way around. Throughout the project, the operational needs of Longwood Gardens were used as a springboard for the creation of new and exciting spaces that explore the relationship between building and landscape and provide an elegant example of contemporary design in historic American gardens. The landscape architects were involved in the project from concept through construction documentation and administration, ensuring that the design was carried out as originally intended.<\/p>\n

1. The green wall covers over 4,000 square feet and contains over 45,000 plants, representing 25 different species.
\n2. Bluestone slabs were cut to form 145 custom slotted trench drains, which form a striking edge between the turf of the landform and the paved surface of the Plaza.
