Wolfgang Buttress<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u201cLiminal\u201d\u662f\u827a\u672f\u5bb6Wolfgang Buttress\u53d7J\u00b7M\u00b7W\u00b7\u7279\u7eb3\u3001Whistler\u548c\u83ab\u5948\u7684\u6cf0\u6664\u58eb\u6cb3\u753b\u4f5c\u542f\u53d1\u800c\u521b\u4f5c\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u96d5\u5851\u88c5\u7f6e\u3002\u6cf0\u6664\u58eb\u6cb3\u795e\u79d8\u800c\u5bbd\u5e7f\uff0c\u4f60\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u5b83\u7684\u6df1\u5ea6\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u5b83\u7684\u8d77\u6e90\u4ee5\u53ca\u5b83\u7684\u5386\u53f2\uff0c\u8be5\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5c31\u65e8\u5728\u8868\u8fbe\u4e00\u79cd\u4f60\u5728\u89c2\u5bdf\u6cf0\u6664\u58eb\u6cb3\u6d41\u8868\u9762\u65f6\u662f\u5f88\u96be\u786e\u5207\u6355\u6349\u7684\u98d8\u6e3a\u611f\u3002<\/p>\n

Wolfgang Buttress<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aLiminal is a sculptural installation by artist Wolfgang Buttress who was inspired by the paintings of the River Thames by J.M.W Turner, Whistler and Claude Monet. He aims to capture an ethereal quality that is rarely obtained when you look at the surface of the river. The River Thames is opaque and mysterious giving you no idea of its depth, what lives in it or its liquid history.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u827a\u672f\u5229\u7528\u53d8\u5e7b\u83ab\u6d4b\u7684\u4e07\u82b1\u7b52\u683c\u5f0f\u6846\u666f\uff0c\u7ed3\u5408\u6cb3\u6d41\u53ca\u5176\u80cc\u666f\uff0c\u521b\u9020\u51fa\u4e86\u4e00\u5e45\u52a8\u4eba\u5efa\u7b51\u753b\u4f5c\uff0c\u5438\u5f15\u516c\u4f17\u9a7b\u8db3\u51dd\u89c6\u6cb3\u6d41\u3002<\/p>\n

\u88c5\u7f6e\u4e2d\u7684\u5404\u79cd\u955c\u5b50\u3001\u7f0e\u9762\u548c\u54d1\u5149\u94dd\u677f\u6a21\u7cca\u4e86\u5e73\u9762\u753b\u4f5c\u548c\u7acb\u4f53\u73b0\u5b9e\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u754c\u9650\uff0c\u805a\u7126\u5e76\u6539\u53d8\u4e86\u89c2\u4f17\u5bf9\u6cb3\u6d41\u7684\u611f\u77e5\u548c\u4f53\u9a8c\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u96d5\u5851\u88c5\u7f6e\u8fd8\u53ef\u901a\u8fc7\u4e0b\u8f7d\u4e00\u4e2a\u540d\u4e3a\u201cLiminal\u201dAPP\u5e94\u7528\u7a0b\u5e8f\uff0c\u8fde\u63a5\u5176\u58f0\u7eb3\u6d6e\u6807\u53c2\u4e0e\u4e92\u52a8\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u96d5\u5851\u7acb\u9762\u7684\u5149\u548c\u58f0\u97f3\u5c55\u73b0\u6cb3\u6d41\u751f\u673a\u4ee5\u53ca\u6c34\u6d41\u7684\u5b9e\u65f6\u52a8\u5411\u3002<\/p>\n

The artwork encourages the public to look again and view the river through a mercurial and kaleidoscopic lens which creates an architectural painting of the river and its context.<\/p>\n

The artwork blurs the boundaries between 2D and 3D through a variety of mirror, satin and matt aluminium panels that focus and alters viewers\u2019 perception and experience of the river. The sculpture also includes a downloadable app called Liminal which is connected to a sonar buoy; this expresses the real time movement of river life and currents, sourced directly in front of the sculpture, as light and sound.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u7531\u4f26\u6566\u5efa\u7b51\u8282\u548c\u4f26\u6566\u91d1\u878d\u57ce\u516c\u53f8\u7ec4\u7ec7\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7ade\u8d5b\u9009\u51fa\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u4f26\u6566\u57ce\u5e02\u6237\u5916\u827a\u672f\u9879\u76ee\u201c\u5947\u5999\u58ee\u4e3e\uff1a\u4f26\u6566\u5efa\u7b51\u201d\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002\u4f4d\u4e8e\u6cf0\u7279\u73b0\u4ee3\u7f8e\u672f\u9986\u5bf9\u9762\uff0c\u5343\u79a7\u6865\u65c1\u8fb9\u3002<\/p>\n

\u521b\u4f5c\u8005Wolfgang Buttress\u8868\u793a\uff1a\u201cLiminal\u8868\u8fbe\u7684\u662f\u6211\u5bf9\u8fd9\u6761\u6cb3\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u5370\u8c61\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u6cb3\u6d41\u4e0b\u65b9\u7684\u751f\u547d\u3001\u795e\u79d8\u548c\u52a8\u5411\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n

The installation is a result of a design competition organised by the London Festival of Architecture and the City of London Corporation and forms part of City\u2019s outdoor arts programme, Fantastic Feats: the Building of London. It is sited opposite Tate Modern next to Millennium Bridge.<\/p>\n
