MEAN*<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a’Arid’ is an installation symbolic of a post-drought landscape in Jordan, that calls attention to the imminent problem of water scarcity in the country.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u4f5c\u54c1\u66fe\u53d7\u5b89\u66fc\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5468\u59d4\u6258\u57282017\u5e74\u5c55\u89c8\u671f\u95f4\u5c55\u51fa\uff0c\u5176\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u65b0\u9896\u4e4b\u5904\u5c31\u5728\u4e8e\u5bf9\u81ea\u7136\u6750\u6599\u8fdb\u884c\u7c97\u52a0\u5de5\uff0c\u4e0e\u6570\u5b57\u5236\u9020\u7684\u7cbe\u786e\u6027\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u9c9c\u660e\u7684\u5bf9\u6bd4\u3002\u200d<\/p>\n

Amman Design Week commissioned the piece for exhibition during the 2017 edition of the show. The novelty of the project\u2019s materiality is an outcome of processing natural, rough materials with imperfections, juxtaposed with the precision of digital manufacturing.<\/p>\n

\u6839\u636e\u6570\u5b57\u6a21\u62df\u81ea\u7136\u5e72\u65f1\u73b0\u8c61\u751f\u6210\u7684\u201c\u5f00\u88c2\u201d\u51e0\u4f55\u56fe\u5f62\uff0c\u5c06\u7ea6\u65e6\u5317\u90e8Al Hallabat\u5730\u533a\u7684\u5929\u7136\u77f3\u6750\u5229\u7528\u6570\u63a7\u673a\u68b0\u5207\u78e8\u6210\u72ec\u4e00\u65e0\u4e8c\u7684\u5c0f\u5757\u77f3\u6750\uff0c\u518d\u901a\u8fc7\u7b49\u79bb\u5b50\u6570\u63a7\u5207\u5272\u673a\u5207\u5272\u51fa\u77f3\u5757\u7684\u94a2\u94c1\u5e95\u5ea7\uff0c\u5c06\u5b83\u4eec\u6574\u4f53\u7ec4\u88c5\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002\u88c5\u7f6e\u4e2d\u7684\u6240\u6709\u8bbe\u8ba1\u548c\u5236\u9020\u90fd\u91c7\u7528\u4e86\u6570\u5b57\u5316\u6280\u672f\u3002

\nRobotic CNC arms were utilized to mill Natural Jordanian stone from Al Hallabat area, in the north of Jordan, into individual pieces, each one unique, from geometries generated by digitally simulating the organic phenomena of \u2018Fractured Cracking’. Plasma CNC cutters were used to cut a steel base, assembled as a kit of parts, all designed and fabricated digitally.<\/p>\n
