Arsomsilp Architect<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u201c\u2026\u2026\u5927\u5b66\u5e94\u5f53\u5584\u5f85\u6bcf\u4e00\u4e2a\u6e34\u6c42\u548c\u5bfb\u6c42\u77e5\u8bc6\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u4ed6\u4eec\u5728\u6559\u80b2\u81ea\u7531\u7684\u539f\u5219\u4e0b\u5e94\u8be5\u62e5\u6709\u7684\u6743\u5229\u548c\u673a\u4f1a\u2026\u201d\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u82ad\u63d0\u96c5\u6cd5\u653f\u5927\u5b66\u7684\u529e\u5b66\u7406\u5ff5\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e00\u76f4\u4ee5\u6765\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u91cd\u8981\u5927\u5b66\u7ba1\u7406\u51c6\u5219\u3002<\/p>\n

Therefore, the design of learning center building is not merely a lecture building but it is like the center that connects each part of the university together to be the area of exchange, living, connecting to outside community, the example of co-living dependently with other creations, the place where the bachelors with physical and mental qualities, the knowledge for community development, and the mind of self-sacrifice to public and nation are formed, and the place where the quality citizen of the world are incubated.<\/p>\n

1994\u5e74\uff0c\u6cf0\u56fd\u56fd\u7acb\u6cd5\u653f\u5927\u5b66\u8003\u8651\u5229\u7528\u82ad\u5824\u96c5\u6821\u56ed\u7684\u571f\u5730\uff0c\u5e76\u4e8e1995\u5e741\u670830\u65e5\u6210\u7acb\u201c\u7814\u7a76\u751f\u521b\u65b0\u4e2d\u5fc3\u201d\u3002\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u76ee\u6807\u662f\u521b\u5efa\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b66\u672f\u670d\u52a1\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3001\u7814\u53d1\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3001\u7814\u7a76\u751f\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3001\u9ad8\u7b49\u7814\u7a76\u4e0e\u57f9\u8bad\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff0c\u53d1\u5c55\u56fd\u5bb6\u4eba\u529b\u8d44\u6e90\u7684\u6f5c\u529b\u548c\u8d28\u91cf\uff0c\u5229\u7528\u7535\u4fe1\u6280\u672f\uff0c\u4f20\u64ad\u6280\u672f\u77e5\u8bc6\uff0c\u5e7f\u6cdb\u63d0\u4f9b\u5b66\u672f\u670d\u52a1\uff0c\u5e94\u5bf9\u6709\u5229\u4e8e\u56fd\u5bb6\u7ecf\u6d4e\u3001\u793e\u4f1a\u548c\u73af\u5883\u53d1\u5c55\u7684\u51e0\u4e2a\u5c42\u9762\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u3002<\/p>\n

Thammasat University, Pattaya Campus has been founded 20 years ago that has got the land donated from Thong Thaworn Industry Co., Ltd. By Dr. Thaworn Phornprapha who intended to contribute 565 Rai 3 Ngan 35 Sq.W. land in Pong subdistrict, Banglamung district, Chonburi province to public use of Thammasat University with 3 following agreements on land uses:<\/p>\n

-The land is to be used for education, academic and high vocational support, teaching, research, academic service providing for society, cultural preservation, and other activities for public utilization.<\/p>\n

-In case that the land given to Thammasat University has not yet had any building or basic infrastructure constructed or been developed, Thammasat University shall allow the company to utilize it for agricultural and scientific and technological academic purposes and provide academic report on the land use for Thammasat University annually. If Thammasat University would like to use any part of the land, it shall inform the company at least one year in advance.<\/p>\n

-When Thammasat University begins to use the land per University Educational Development Project (Pattaya Project), it shall name the campus as Thammasat University, Thaworn-Usa Phornprapha Campus.<\/p>\n

In 1994 Thammasat University has considered the suitability to utilize the land in Pattaya Campus and develop into the project which University Council agreed upon founding \u201cGraduate Innovation Center\u201d on January 30, 1995. The objectives of the project are to be an academic service center, research and development center, graduate center, high research and training center, to develop national human resource potential and quality, to utilize the telecommunication technology, to pass on the technological knowledge and provide academic services widely, to respond the development in several levels that benefit national economic, social, and environmental development.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u6821\u56ed\u4e0d\u4ec5\u4ec5\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b66\u4e60\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u66f4\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5b9e\u8df5\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u793e\u533a\u201d\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u8bbe\u8ba1\u6db5\u76d6\u4e8621\u4e16\u7eaa\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u6807\u51c6\uff1a<\/p>\n

5. \u591a\u6837\u6027\u7684\u690d\u7269\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff1a\u5927\u4e2d\u578b\u591a\u5e74\u751f\u690d\u7269\u548c\u5404\u79cd\u4f4e\u77ee\u704c\u6728\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u548c\u81ea\u7136\u7fa4\u843d\uff0c\u8425\u9020\u4eba\u4e0e\u81ea\u7136\u5171\u751f\u7684\u751f\u6001\u7cfb\u7edf\u3002<\/p>\n

The building design is thus in harmony with its landscape and context. The design process is co-working approach of architects, landscape architects, students, staffs, and community from the beginning with valued targets of the project as the followings:<\/p>\n

1.The creation of \u201cGreen Campus\u201d that encourages the learning and the sustainable co-living of human and nature both physically and mentally by designing the surrounding that promote \u201cHuman-Centered Culture\u201d which is to educate the value and the conscious in self-sufficiency, environmentally friendly, and energy saving through daily life and activities in the campus area.<\/p>\n

2. The Landscape is designed to define the crucial axis of the university that connects the road side main entrance which is directed to the central axis of the building straight to the dome building on the hill. It is a sacred and crucial axis that creates the \u201cSense of Place\u201d perception of the campus center area.<\/p>\n

3. The design of the building is humble to the nature, harmonious with its landscape and context. The building disappears in the earth mold in order to vanish along the hill at the back, an important feature where the symbolic dome of the university located. The dome symbolizes the humbleness and the modest to the nature and the university.<\/p>\n

4. The landscape area is designed to intervene in the building. There are courts flowing through the building. From every room and corridor, the landscape that is connected to the nature can be seen. The areas for sharing and learning and university life are created such as amphitheatre, inner courtyard, outdoor courtyard, terrace garden, pavilion, activities room, etc.<\/p>\n

5. The botanical design is varied in types of plant; medium and large perennial plant and various low bushes to form up the area with biological diversity and natural essence, and to create the ecological system which allows the co-living between human and nature.<\/p>\n

6. The connecting area is created by connecting:\u00a0Student to Campus,\u00a0Staff to Campus,\u00a0Student to Student,\u00a0Student to Staff,\u00a0Student, Staff, and Campus to Nature, Campus and Community to Nature.<\/p>\n
