Earthscape<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aThe design of the Hoyt-Sullivan park playground came in response to the community\u2019s request for a natural play space in the densely populated and ethnically diverse City of Somerville on the north side of Boston.\u00a0 Featuring several multi-level play elements, including an accessible tower and a complex log jam, the playground design maximizes topographical changes to challenge and inspire children in their play. The playground encourages and facilitates non-prescriptive and imaginative play that allows children of varying ages and abilities to play and explore in their own way.<\/p>\n

\u6500\u722c\u5854\u4e00\u5c42\u8bbe\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u8f83\u5c0f\u7684\u6ed1\u68af\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e00\u4e2a\u76f4\u63a5\u8fde\u63a5\u5230\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5c42\u76849\u82f1\u5c3a\u9ad8\u7684\u6ed1\u68af\u3002\u64cd\u573a\u4e0a\u7684\u52a8\u6001\u6e38\u620f\u5143\u7d20\u7a81\u51fa\u4e86Klopfer Martin<\/strong><\/a>\u666f\u89c2\u8bbe\u8ba1\u56e2\u961f\u7684\u6574\u4f53\u573a\u5730\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3002\u51e0\u4e2a\u4e0d\u540c\u9ad8\u5ea6\u548c\u96be\u5ea6\u7684\u539f\u6728\u6500\u722c\u533a\u878d\u5165\u4e86\u5065\u5eb7\u548c\u63a2\u7d22\u6e38\u620f\u5143\u7d20\uff0c\u53ef\u9002\u7528\u4e8e\u6240\u6709\u5e74\u9f84\u6bb5\u7684\u4eba\u2014\u2014\u6700\u5177\u5192\u9669\u7cbe\u795e\u7684\u201c\u63a2\u9669\u5bb6\u201d\u53ef\u4ee5\u722c\u5230\u4e03\u82f1\u5c3a\u9ad8\u7684\u6700\u9ad8\u5904!<\/p>\n

A smaller slide from the first level of the tower is complimented by a higher nine-foot slide for children who want to access the second level. The dynamic play elements found in the playground highlight the integrated site design by\u00a0Klopfer Martin Design Group<\/strong><\/a>. Several log jam\u00ae climbers of varying heights and level of difficulty promote healthy and exploratory play for all ages \u2013 the most adventurous of explorers can climb to a height of seven feet!\u00a0 A custom playground tower encourages children to view the site from above and track the trains as they pass by.<\/p>\n
