Guangzhou S.P.I Design Co., Ltd<\/strong><\/a>: We stroll along the Pearl River with breezes blowing. Elderly people watch children playing and young people walk dogs. Where can these sceneries be seen? It is Datansha in the west Liwan District. Rivers meet and the Datansha Island appears. It enjoys 8.7 km of river view and has the view of \u201cDouble Bridges in Misty Rain\u201d, which is one of the eight past beautiful sceneries in Guangzhou.<\/p>\n

Datansha was born from water and then has flourished by water. It is the largest island on the Pearl River in the central urban area, advantageously located in the core area between Guangzhou and Foshan and the key part of Baietan\u2019s riverside headquarters ecologic belt. Time has passed just as river flows. With development of new cities, Datansha had been forgotten for a while, with many old factories and illegal buildings standing on the island and people suffering from traffic jams and a messy environment. After the new positioning of “International Garden Island” of Datansha, the image of the urban gateway should be updated in no time.<\/p>\n

\u573a\u5730\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5927\u5766\u6c99\u95e8\u6237\uff0c\u5730\u5904\u5927\u5766\u6c99\u4e3b\u5e72\u9053\u3001\u5730\u94c1\u7ebf\u53ca\u6570\u5341\u6761\u516c\u4ea4\u7ebf\u7684\u67a2\u7ebd\u70b9\uff0c\u4eba\u6d41\u3001\u8f66\u6d41\u6781\u4e3a\u590d\u6742\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u627f\u8f7d\u7740\u6765\u81ea\u4e2d\u5c71\u5927\u9053\u3001\u706b\u8f66\u7ad9\u3001\u73e0\u6c5f\u65b0\u57ce\u3001\u4e1c\u5c71\u53e3\u3001\u6c99\u6cb3\u3001\u91d1\u6c99\u6d32\u7b49\u5730\u7684\u4ea4\u901a\u6d41\u548c\u5ba2\u6d41\u3002<\/p>\n

As the gateway to Datansha, the project is located at the hub of Datansha\u2019s main roads, metro lines and dozens of bus lines. The streams of people and vehicles are extremely complicated. At the same time, it bears traffic streams and pedestrian flows from Zhongshan Avenue, Railway Station, Zhujiang New Town, Dongshankou, Shahe and Jinshazhou.<\/p>\n

Every day a large number of people such as students, villagers, commuters, scavengers travelling for their livelihoods, and the influx of vehicles make this place more and more congested. Lots of construction wastes remained upon land acquisition and demolition, thus ecological infrastructure, visual image and street space all need to be renewed badly.<\/p>\n
