Instinct Fabrication<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aWangjing Walk & VANKE TIMES at Wangjing is an urban renovation project that redefined a street block mainly consisting of two mix-use properties and a former vehicular driveway in Wangjing, a vivid contemporary district in the northeast corner of Beijing\u2019s metropolitan area. The project was initiated by the district\u2019s governmental entity and VANKE(private developer) , as they recognized the need to revitalize this densely-populated area comprised of a diverse demographic including both local and international residents.<\/p>\n

2017-2020\u7684\u4e09\u5e74\u95f4\uff0c \u5728\u4e1a\u4e3b\uff08\u4e07\u79d1\u548c\u671b\u4eac\u8857\u9053\uff09\u7684\u5f15\u9886\u4e0b\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4f5c\u4e3a\u666f\u89c2\u8bbe\u8ba1\u65b9\u548c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u534f\u8c03\u65b9\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u89c1\u8bc1\u4e86\u671b\u4eac\u5c0f\u8857\u548c\u4e07\u79d1\u65f6\u4ee3\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff08\u539f\u671b\u4eac\u56fd\u9645\u5546\u4e1a\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff09\u7684\u8715\u53d8\u5386\u7a0b\uff1a\u4ece\u4e00\u6761\u6742\u4e71\u65e0\u7ae0\u65e0\u6cd5\u8f7b\u677e\u884c\u8d70\u7684\u5e02\u653f\u9053\u8def\uff0c\u5230\u53ef\u905b\u5a03\u53ef\u6f2b\u6b65\uff0c\u4ea4\u7ec7\u7740\u5546\u4e1a\u5bf9\u8bdd\u7684\u70ab\u9177\u6b65\u884c\u8857\uff1b\u4ece\u4e00\u4e2a\u8bbe\u65bd\u9648\u65e7\u7684\u5e9f\u5f03\u4e2d\u5ead\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5230\u78c1\u573a\u822c\u6ee1\u8f7d\u7740\u6d3b\u529b\u4e0e\u4ea4\u6d41\u768424\u5c0f\u65f6\u4e0d\u591c\u80fd\u91cf\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3002<\/p>\n

As the landscape design consultant and the coordinator leading multi-discipline collaboration, Instinct Fabrication has witnessed the process of this renovation through last 3 years with VANKE and the district government. The projects has eventually turned a chaotic vehicular street into a pedestrian-friendly shopping street, and turned a bleak office\/retail property into a vibrant hyper-programmed plaza.<\/p>\n

The overall project consists of a linear garden(Phase I, built in 2018) , an enclosed plaza and a pedestrian street. Although each of them shares same vision and overall strategy, their design processes are slightly different from each other. In this article, we’ll walk you through the plaza – VANKE TIMES Wangjing.<\/p>\n

\u4e07\u79d1\u65f6\u4ee3\u4e2d\u5fc3\u00b7\u671b\u4eac\u7684\u524d\u8eab\u662f\u671b\u4eac\u56fd\u9645\u5546\u4e1a\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff0c\u4e0e\u73b0\u5728\u7684\u65b9\u6052\u8d2d\u7269\u4e2d\u5fc3\u9694\u8857\u76f8\u671b\uff0c\u5bf9\u4e8e\u5341\u6765\u5e74\u524d\u5728\u5468\u8fb9\u751f\u6d3b\u548c\u4e0a\u5b66\u7684\u4eba\u6765\u8bf4\uff0c\u8fd9\u91cc\u627f\u8f7d\u4e86\u5f88\u591a\u8bb0\u5fc6\uff1a\u770b\u7535\u5f71\uff0c\u7ea6\u4f1a\u5403\u996d\uff0c\u901b\u8857\u8d2d\u7269\uff0c\u53bb\u8d85\u5e02\uff0c\u6cb9\u76d0\u9171\u918b\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4e8b\u90fd\u4e0e\u573a\u5730\u6709\u7740\u7d27\u5bc6\u7684\u8054\u7cfb\u3002\u968f\u7740\u7ecf\u6d4e\u548c\u793e\u4f1a\u7684\u98de\u901f\u53d1\u5c55\uff0c\u6d88\u8d39\u7406\u5ff5\u548c\u6a21\u5f0f\u5df2\u66f4\u65b0\u6362\u4ee3\uff0c\u800c\u539f\u6709\u7b3c\u5b50\u72b6\u767e\u8d27\u5927\u697c\u822c\u7684\u5546\u94fa\u5e03\u5c40\uff0c\u628a\u5546\u5bb6\u201c\u56f0\u201d\u5728\u4e86\u697c\u91cc\uff0c\u7a7a\u65f7\u7684\u65b9\u5f62\u4e2d\u5ead\u91cc\uff0c\u95f2\u7f6e\u7684\u79cd\u690d\u6c60\u548c\u7834\u65e7\u7ed3\u6784\u8bbe\u65bd\uff0c\u5df2\u65e0\u6cd5\u6ee1\u8db3\u4eba\u4eec\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u7684\u4f11\u95f2\u751f\u6d3b\u4f53\u9a8c\uff0c\u573a\u5730\u671f\u5f85\u7740\u65b0\u7684\u751f\u673a\u548c\u6d3b\u529b\u3002<\/p>\n

Originally developed in the early 2000s, the 5.3-hectares site has been highly used over the last two decades. Back then, for most residents and college students nearby, it was a go-to place for movie, dating, shopping, grocery etc. However, in recent years, its outdated infrastructure and amenities had been neglected and the vast inner plaza with mere hardscape was not appealing any more to pedestrians, shoppers and residents whose expectation and experience have been updated rapidly.<\/p>\n

2017\u5e74\uff0c\u9879\u76ee\u6b63\u5f0f\u542f\u52a8\uff0c\u521d\u63a2\u573a\u5730\u4e4b\u65f6\uff0c\u4e2d\u5ead\u539f\u6709\u7684\u5185\u805a\u611f\u548c\u56f4\u5408\u6027\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\u89c9\u5f97\u8fd9\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u96c6\u805a\u76ee\u5149\u548c\u80fd\u91cf\u7684\u573a\u5730\uff0c\u7a7a\u95f4\u5c3a\u5ea6\u6709\u70b9\u50cf\u4e00\u4e2a\u5fae\u7f29\u7248\u7684\u5723\u9a6c\u53ef\u5e7f\u573a\u548c\u653e\u5927\u7248\u7684\u4e09\u91cc\u5c6f\u90a3\u91cc\u82b1\u56ed\uff0c\u8d70\u8fdb\u91cc\u9762\u4eff\u4f5b\u7ad9\u5728\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e2d\u5fc3\u821e\u53f0\uff0c\u5468\u56f4\u5efa\u7b51\u91cc\u548c\u573a\u5730\u8fb9\u7f18\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u50cf\u89c2\u4f17\u4e00\u6837\u6ce8\u76ee\u4e8e\u6574\u4e2a\u4e2d\u5ead\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\u548c\u666f\u89c2\u3002<\/p>\n

The first time we visited the site, a sense of enclosure and being embraced by the buildings inspired us of a concept – “STAGE”, where activities\/programs take places. People become audience who could overlook the stage from the edge\/buildings.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u821e\u53f0\u201d\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u57fa\u4e8e\u4eba\u6587\u6d3b\u52a8\u548c\u5546\u4e1a\u6d3b\u529b\uff0c\u5728\u4e07\u79d1\u65f6\u4ee3\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u4e2d\u5ead\u91cc\u53d1\u751f\u5316\u5b66\u53cd\u5e94\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e00\u4e2a24\u5c0f\u65f6\u80fd\u91cf\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff0c\u4e3a\u4eba\u4eec\u5e26\u6765\u591a\u79cd\u65b0\u4f11\u95f2\u751f\u6d3b\u4f53\u9a8c\u3002<\/p>\n

\u6c34\u4eff\u4f5b\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u751f\u547d\u7684\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u6700\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u5185\u5fc3\u60c5\u611f\u4ea4\u4e92\u5a92\u4ecb\u3002\u5728\u4e1c\u897f\u4e24\u4fa7\u7684\u4e0b\u6c89\u5ead\u9662\u4e2d\uff0c\u5206\u522b\u8bbe\u6709\u4e24\u7ec4\u4e92\u52a8\u6c34\u5143\u7d20-\u897f\u4fa7\u7684\u97f3\u4e50\u55b7\u6cc9\u548c\u4e1c\u4fa7\u7684\u5149\u5f71\u6c34\u5e55\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u7528\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u89c6\u89d2\u548c\u65b9\u5f0f\u6765\u89c2\u5bdf\u3001\u8be0\u91ca\u8fd9\u79cd\u201c\u751f\u547d\u60c5\u611f\u201d\u7684\u5185\u6db5\u548c\u672c\u8d28\u3002<\/p>\n

The west sunken plaza is featured in an interactive music dry fountain. It becomes an energetic stage where water goes up and down in rhythm with melodies in the background, while kids and family are having continuous fun of interacting with the water.<\/p>\n

The plaza(VANKE TIMES) is a premier example of how forgotten urban landscapes neglected by rapidly growing metropolises can be redesigned into spaces for people with opportunities to connect and interact with the environment and each other.<\/p>\n
