Steven Holl Architects<\/a>\uff1a<\/strong>\u8be5\u201cL\u201d\u5f62\u6821\u56ed\u5efa\u7b51\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u51e0\u4f55\u5143\u7d20\uff0c\u5728\u4e0e\u6574\u4e2a\u6821\u56ed\u4e32\u8054\u8d77\u5343\u4e1d\u4e07\u7f15\u7684\u8054\u7cfb\u7684\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e3a\u4eba\u4eec\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u901a\u5f80\u6821\u56ed\u4fef\u77b0\u5e73\u53f0\u7684\u659c\u9762\u901a\u9053\u3002\u5176\u6240\u7528\u7684\u9884\u5236\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u7ed3\u6784\uff0c\u4ea7\u4e8e\u5f97\u514b\u8428\u65af\u5dde\u97e6\u79d1\uff0c\u5b83\u4eec\u7ed3\u5408\u4e3b\u659c\u9762\u7684\u89d2\u5ea6\uff0c\u652f\u6491\u7740\u5730\u677f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5efa\u7b51\u7acb\u9762\uff0c\u6697\u55bb\u4e86\u9644\u8fd1\u7531Isamo Noguchi\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u96d5\u5851\u82b1\u56ed\u5899\u3002\u201cL\u201d\u5f62\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u5165\u53e3\u4f4d\u4e8e\u4e3b\u8981\u7684\u5185\u90e8\u8f6c\u89d2\uff0c\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5206\u89e3\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\u7a7a\u95f4\uff1a\u4e00\u4e2a\u5f00\u653e\u5f0f\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5c06\u5c55\u89c8\u5ead\u5411\u4e0a\u626d\u8f6c\u81f3\u5c4b\u9876\u4fef\u77b0\u5e73\u53f0\u3002<\/p>\n

Steven Holl Architects<\/a>\uff1a<\/strong>The \u2018L\u2019 shape of the building is a campus space defining geometry, relating to the whole of the campus and providing the inclined plane access to the campus overlook terrace. The precast concrete structural elements, made in Waco, Texas, hold up the floors and define the exterior, incorporating the angle of the main incline. They also allude to the adjacent sculpture garden walls angled by Isamo Noguchi.\u00a0The entry to the \u2018L\u2019-shaped building is placed at the main interior corner and is defined by a dissolution of the structure: an opening up which sets the exhibition forum in torsion climbing vertically to the roof terrace overlook.<\/p>\n

\u8fd9\u6b21\u4f11\u65af\u987f\u7f8e\u672f\u535a\u7269\u9986\u7684\u91cd\u65b0\u5f00\u53d1\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u96be\u5f97\u7684\u6269\u5c55\u535a\u7269\u9986\u6821\u56ed\uff0c\u4f7f\u5176\u6210\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u53ef\u9762\u5411\u793e\u533a\u5f00\u653e\u7684\u6574\u4f53\u4f53\u9a8c\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u597d\u673a\u4f1a\u3002\u66f4\u65b0\u540e\u7684\u6a2a\u5411\u6d3b\u52a8\u3001\u900f\u660e\u548c\u591a\u5b54\u6027\u7a7a\u95f4\u5c06\u7edf\u4e00\u65b0\u7684\u4f11\u65af\u987f\u7f8e\u672f\u535a\u7269\u9986\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u9f13\u821e\u4eba\u5fc3\u548c\u66f4\u5177\u5438\u5f15\u529b\u7684\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u8471\u90c1\u7684\u4f11\u65af\u6566\u690d\u88ab\u3001\u6e05\u65b0\u7684\u58f0\u97f3\u548c\u6c34\u4e2d\u7684\u5012\u5f71\u90fd\u662f\u63d0\u5347\u65b0\u6821\u56ed\u8bd7\u610f\u4f53\u9a8c\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002<\/p>\n

\u65b0\u7684\u201cL\u201d\u5f62\u73bb\u7483\u5b66\u6821\u91cd\u5851\u5e03\u6717\u57fa\u91d1\u4f1a\u5e7f\u573a\uff0c\u6269\u5c55\u4e86\u7531Isamu Noguchi\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684Lillie\u548cHugh Roy Cullen\u96d5\u5851\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5c4b\u9876\u7684\u659c\u9762\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5706\u5f62\u5267\u573a\u548c\u4e00\u6761\u901a\u5f80\u5c4b\u9876\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u516c\u5171\u8def\u5f84\uff0c\u4ece\u8fd9\u91cc\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u53ef\u4ee5\u4fef\u77b0\u6574\u4e2aMFAH\u6821\u56ed\u3002<\/p>\n

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston redevelopment has the unique chance to expand the museum\u2019s campus as an integral experience open to the community. Horizontal activity, transparency and porosity will unify the new MFAH, and provide inspiring and inviting public spaces. The lush Houston vegetation, refreshing sound, and reflections in water are all part of a new campus experience elevating the poetry of art.<\/p>\n

The new \u2018L\u2019 shaped Glassell school shapes the Brown Foundation Plaza which extends the space of the Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden by Isamu Noguchi.<\/p>\n

The inclined plane of the roof shapes an amphitheater and a public path to a rooftop garden overlooking the whole MFAH campus.<\/p>\n

\u5efa\u7b51\u5185\u67093\u4e2a\u5c55\u89c8\u7a7a\u95f4\uff1a\u5e95\u5c42\u53ef\u4fef\u77b0\u5e7f\u573a\u7684\u5496\u5561\u5385\u7a7a\u95f4\uff1b\u4ee5\u96d5\u5851\u96a7\u9053\u8fde\u63a5\u672a\u6765Nancy\u548cRich Kinder\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u6559\u80b2\u5ead\u9662\uff1b\u4e8c\u697c\u7684\u9876\u5c42\u5ea7\u8c08\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u4e3b\u5165\u53e3\u8fde\u901a\u8bba\u575b\u7684\u9636\u68af\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u53ef\u76f4\u63a5\u901a\u5411\u542b75\u4e2a\u5ea7\u4f4d\u7684\u793c\u5802\u7684\u975e\u6b63\u5f0f\u5b66\u4e60\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5efa\u7b51\u6838\u5fc3\u4e0e\u521d\u4e2d\u90e8\u548c8\u4e2a\u6838\u5fc3\u4f19\u4f34\u5de5\u4f5c\u5ba4\u5171\u670923\u4e2a\u5de5\u4f5c\u5ba4\u3002\u6240\u6709\u8fd9\u4e9b\u90fd\u88ab\u8bbe\u8ba1\u6210\u5177\u6709\u7075\u6d3b\u6027\u3001\u8f7b\u76c8\u548c\u7cbe\u7ec6\u7684\u6bd4\u4f8b\u3002<\/p>\n

There are 3 gallery spaces in the building:\u00a0At the ground level caf\u00e9 space overlooking the plaza;\u00a0At the Education Court connecting to a sculptural tunnel to the future Nancy and Rich Kinder\u00a0Building;\u00a0At the top of the forum on the second floor.\u00a0The main entry opens to a cascade of levels at the forum shaping an informal learning space directly opening to a 75 seat auditorium.<\/p>\n

There are 23 studios shared between the Core Program and Junior School and 8 core-fellow studios. All of these have been designed with flexibility, great light, and fine proportions.<\/p>\n

\u55b7\u7802\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u7684\u7b80\u5355\u5e73\u9762\u7ed3\u6784\u4ef6\u4ece\u503e\u659c\u5c4b\u9876\u5e73\u9762\u7684\u89d2\u5ea6\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u4ee5\u5bc6\u65af\u00b7\u8303\u00b7\u5fb7\u00b7\u7f57\u7684\u539f\u59cb\u5efa\u7b51\u6240\u91c7\u7528\u7684\u7b80\u5355\u548c\u76f4\u63a5\u7684\u7cbe\u795e\u8d4b\u4e88\u5efa\u7b51\u5185\u90e8\u7a7a\u95f4\u7279\u5f81\u3002\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u5e73\u9762\u4e0e\u5927\u578b\u534a\u900f\u660e\u9762\u677f\u4ea4\u66ff\uff0c\u4e3a\u5de5\u4f5c\u5ba4\u63d0\u4f9b\u7406\u60f3\u7684\u6f2b\u5c04\u5149\u3002\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u5ea7\u6559\u80b2\u5efa\u7b51\uff0c\u5b83\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\u4eec\u5b83\u662f\u5982\u4f55\u5efa\u9020\u7684\u3002\u6e29\u65af\u987f\u00b7\u4e18\u5409\u5c14\u8bf4\uff1a\u201c\u9996\u5148\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u5851\u9020\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u662f\u5b83\u4eec\u5851\u9020\u6211\u4eec\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n

The simple planar structural pieces of sandblasted concrete begin with the angle of the inclined roof plane and give character to the inner spaces of the building in the spirit of simplicity and directness employed by Mies Van der Rohe\u2019s original building. The concrete planes alternate with large translucent panels to provide ideal diffuse light to the studios. As an educational building it tells us how it is made. Winston Churchill said \u201cFirst we shape our buildings, and then they shape us.\u201d<\/p>\n
