GVL<\/strong><\/a>: <\/strong>Yejin Mansion is Greenland Hong Kong’s first work in Yangzhou. It is ideally located on the site of the old metallurgic plant in the Southeast New Town of Yangzhou, which has a history of sixty-one years and great potential. Driven by the sustainable development in recent years, the metallurgical plant gave way to urban construction and relocated in 2017.<\/p>\n

For the renovation and renewal, the design team hopes to create a dynamic life theatre and a cultural landmark that bears memories while preserving the industrial culture.<\/p>\n

The renovation has received extensive attention from the public and the local media, which is called the Yangzhou version of \u201c798 ArtDist\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u9879\u76ee\u521d\u671f\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u539f\u672c\u662f\u4ee5\u5e38\u89c4\u5730\u4ea7\u7684\u624b\u6cd5\u5728\u573a\u5730\u4e0a\u5806\u780c\u4e86\u79cd\u79cd\u201c\u4eae\u70b9\u201d\uff0c\u4ee5\u5938\u5f20\u7684\u89c6\u89c9\u6548\u679c\u66ff\u4ee3\u573a\u5730\u7559\u5b58\u7684\u5de5\u4e1a\u75d5\u8ff9\u3002\u800c\u5728\u8bbe\u8ba1\u56e2\u961f\u53bb\u5230\u73b0\u573a\u52d8\u5bdf\u573a\u5730\u540e\uff0c\u770b\u5230\u8038\u7acb\u7684\u6c34\u6749\u3001\u843d\u7070\u7684\u673a\u5e8a\u3001\u7c97\u72b7\u7684\u7816\u5899\u548c\u94fa\u6ee1\u5382\u623f\u7acb\u9762\u7684\u722c\u5c71\u864e\uff0c\u5173\u4e8e\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u4ef7\u503c\u5bfc\u5411\u3001\u8bbe\u8ba1\u601d\u8def\u53d1\u751f\u4e86\u8f6c\u53d8\u3002<\/p>\n

In the early stage, the designer was originally intended to spruce up the development with \u201cbright spots\u201d in a conventional way and replace the industrial traces with exaggerated visual effects. However, when visiting the site, the design team found the towering metasequoia, the dusty lathe, the rough brick walls and the building facade covered with ivy leaves, which led to the change of the value orientation and the design idea of the development.<\/p>\n

\u9879\u76ee\u552e\u697c\u90e8\u662f\u4ee5\u524d\u51b6\u91d1\u5382\u7684\u5458\u5de5\u98df\u5802\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u7acb\u9762\u72ec\u7279\u5e76\u4e14\u4fdd\u7559\u5f97\u8f83\u4e3a\u5b8c\u6574\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u4ee5\u7b80\u6d01\u7684\u9759\u6c34\u9762\u70d8\u6258\u5de5\u4e1a\u9057\u5b58\uff0c\u524d\u573a\u642d\u914d\u91ce\u8da3\u7684\u89c2\u8d4f\u8349\u548c\u758f\u6717\u7684\u4e54\u6728\uff0c\u5728\u5e02\u653f\u7acb\u9762\u4e0a\u5f3a\u5316\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u4e3b\u4f53\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n

The sales center is the staff canteen of the old metallurgical plant, whose unique facade is well preserved. The designer used the simple and elegant still water to set off the industrial remains and decorated the front yard with grasses and trees.<\/p>\n

Slates and industrial signage system are set at the entrance, while the facade of the waterscape is made of weather-resistant steel plate, which complements the red bricks of the building facade. At the same time, the building is completely reflected on the large-area waterscape, just like floating on the water.<\/p>\n

\u5546\u4e1a\u8857\u533a\u4f5c\u4e3a\u65e7\u65f6\u5382\u533a\u7684\u529e\u516c\u697c\uff0c\u4fdd\u7559\u4e86\u975e\u5e38\u591a\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u8bb0\u5fc6\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u4ee5\u51b6\u91d1\u5382\u53d1\u5c55\u5386\u53f2\u7684\u5404\u5927\u91cd\u8981\u65f6\u95f4\u8282\u70b9\uff0c\u62fc\u6210\u8bb0\u8f7d\u51b6\u91d1\u5382\u53d1\u5c55\u7684\u201c\u65f6\u5149\u5eca\u9053\u201d\uff0c\u5ef6\u7eed\u539f\u672c\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5382\u62a5\u3001\u5956\u72b6\u7ed9\u4eba\u4eec\u7559\u4e0b\u7684\u8bb0\u5fc6\u3002<\/p>\n

As the office building of the old plant, the commercial block retains a lot of memories. So the designer created a \u201cGallery of Time\u201d to record the big events in the history of the metallurgical plant, which will remind people of the plant newspapers and the certificates of merit.<\/p>\n

To get people close to nature, the designer has kept the seven trees of metasequoia nearby the building. Besides, some ginkgo trees and red brick parterres are added, which not only continues the original style and increases seasonal changes but also enlarges the space for relaxation.<\/p>\n

In addition, the lotus pond of the old plant is transformed into fountains in front of the building, the spouts of which dance in colorful lights, allowing children to play happily with water. When night falls, the beautiful fountain square becomes an ideal place for citizens to relax themselves.<\/p>\n
