Grant Associates<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aWatermans Cove features a crescent shaped cantilevered waterfront walkway to allow people to get close to, and enjoy, the water, creating an entirely new public space on the city\u2019s foreshore.\u00a0The fully-accessible, amphitheatre-style boardwalk extends out to create a new public pier. Huge sandstone blocks provide informal seating areas and native species trees create a shady backdrop to the open waterfront. A feature Fig tree has been planted on part of the original dockside structure.<\/p>\n

Watermans Cove\u662fGrant Associates\u5728\u5357\u5df4\u5170\u52a0\u9c81(Barangaroo South)\u4e24\u516c\u9877\u516c\u5171\u533a\u57df\u5185\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u5173\u952e\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5b83\u4f5c\u4e3a\u51767.5\u516c\u9877\u7684\u591a\u529f\u80fd\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u7531\u5168\u7403\u57ce\u5e02\u66f4\u65b0\u4e13\u5bb6Lendlease\u5f00\u53d1\u548c\u4ea4\u4ed8\u3002\u8be5\u65b9\u6848\u65e8\u5728\u5c06\u6089\u5c3c\u524d\u6ee9\u7684\u4e2d\u5fc3\u90e8\u5206(\u4ee5\u524d\u662f\u96c6\u88c5\u7bb1\u7801\u5934)\uff0c\u66f4\u65b0\u4e3a\u4e16\u754c\u7ea7\u7684\u3001\u5145\u6ee1\u6d3b\u529b\u7684\u6ee8\u6c34\u533a\u57df\u3002\u5176\u516c\u5171\u533a\u57df\u4e5f\u4e3a\u5f15\u4eba\u6ce8\u76ee\u7684\u7687\u51a0\u5ea6\u5047\u4f11\u95f2\u7efc\u5408\u4f53\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u6ee8\u6c34\u73af\u5883\uff0c\u8be5\u7efc\u5408\u4f53\u51fa\u81ea\u8457\u540d\u5efa\u7b51\u516c\u53f8Wilkinson Eyre Architects\u3002<\/p>\n

\u6c83\u7279\u66fc\u65af\u6e7e\u7684\u4eba\u884c\u6b65\u9053\uff0c\u4ee3\u8868\u7740\u65b0\u5357\u5a01\u5c14\u58eb\u5dde\u653f\u5e9c\u9886\u5bfc\u7684\u4e00\u9879\u8ba1\u5212\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u4e00\u6b65\uff0c\u8be5\u8ba1\u5212\u65e8\u5728\u56f4\u7ed5\u6089\u5c3c\u7684\u6e2f\u53e3\u524d\u6ee8\u521b\u5efa\u4e00\u6761\u8fde\u7eed\u7684\u4eba\u884c\u9053\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u7531\u4e8e\u5176\u5de5\u4e1a\u7528\u9014\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e00\u6bb5\u6ee8\u6c34\u533a\u5df2\u6709100\u591a\u5e74\u6ca1\u6709\u5411\u516c\u4f17\u5f00\u653e\u3002<\/p>\n

Watermans Cove is a key feature of Grant Associates\u2019 designs for two hectares of public realm at Barangaroo South – a 7.5 hectare, mixed-use scheme being developed and delivered by global urban regeneration specialist Lendlease. The scheme aims to revitalise this central part of Sydney\u2019s foreshore, formerly a terminal for containers, into a world-class, vibrant waterfront precinct. The public realm also provides the waterfront setting to the dramatic Crown Resorts leisure complex designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects.<\/p>\n

The walkway at Watermans Cove represents a significant step forward of a plan led by the Government of New South Wales to create a continuous walk around Sydney’s harbour foreshore. This section of waterfront has been inaccessible to the public for over 100 years because of its industrial use.<\/p>\n

Grant Associates\u4e3aBarangaroo South\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u5173\u952e\u5143\u7d20\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5360\u5730\u4e00\u516c\u9877\u7684\u540d\u4e3aHickson\u516c\u56ed\u7684\u516c\u5171\u516c\u56ed\uff0c\u8be5\u516c\u56ed\u5c06\u4e8e2020\u5e7412\u6708\u5f00\u653e\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u516c\u56ed\u5c06\u4ee5\u7eff\u8272\u91cd\u65b0\u8fde\u63a5\u6089\u5c3c\u4e2d\u592e\u5546\u52a1\u533a\u3001Barangaroo\u96f6\u552e\u548c\u9910\u996e\u533a\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff0c\u53ca\u5176\u9644\u8fd1\u7531\u8457\u540d\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u4f26\u4f50\u00b7\u76ae\u4e9a\u8bfa\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u7ec6\u957f\u7684\u65b0\u4f4f\u5b85\u5927\u53a6\u3002<\/p>\n

Another key element of Grant Associates\u2019 designs for Barangaroo South is a one-hectare public park called Hickson Park, which is due to open in December 2020. This park will provide a green link from Sydney\u2019s Central Business District into the heart of Barangaroo\u2019s retail and dining precinct, which is adjacent to the slender new residential towers designed by the acclaimed architect Renzo Piano.<\/p>\n
