Lemay<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u7687\u5bb6\u5c71\u4f53\u516c\u56ed\u4e8e1874\u5e74\u7531\u5f17\u96f7\u5fb7\u91cc\u514b\u00b7\u52b3\u00b7\u5965\u59c6\u65af\u7279\u5fb7\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u6bcf\u5e74\u6709\u8d85\u8fc7500\u4e07\u6e38\u5ba2\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u8bd7\u610f\u81f3\u4eca\u5f71\u54cd\u7740\u516c\u56ed\u5982\u753b\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u7279\u5f81\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u4e0e\u5965\u59c6\u65af\u7279\u5fb7\u7684\u4f20\u7edf\u4fdd\u6301\u4e00\u81f4\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u533a\u57df\u7684\u66f4\u65b0\u4fee\u590d\u4ee5\u5c71\u4f53\u672c\u8eab\u7684\u7279\u70b9\u4e3a\u57fa\u7840\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u5bf9\u73b0\u6709\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u548c\u6587\u5316\u5143\u7d20\u7684\u7cbe\u5fc3\u7ba1\u7406\uff0c\u5c06\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e0e\u5c71\u533a\u7684\u5730\u8d28\u3001\u6c34\u6587\u548c\u690d\u88ab\u7d27\u5bc6\u7ed3\u5408\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u3002<\/p>\n

Lemay<\/strong><\/a>: Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted in 1874, Mount-Royal Park has over five million visitors per year. Nonetheless, its natural and picturesque character were still informed by the poetics of Olmsted’s work. In keeping with Olmsted’s tradition, the mountain’s own characteristics were tapped to regenerate and redesign the sector. Tying the project into the geological, hydrological and vegetative richness of the mountain firmly re-attached the Peel sector to the city through the careful management of the existing natural and cultural elements.<\/p>\n

\u4ea4\u901a\u6d41\u7ebf\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\u5143\u7d20\u65e2\u5c0a\u91cd\u7684\u5965\u59c6\u65af\u7279\u5fb7\u539f\u59cb\u5e03\u5c40\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c0a\u91cd\u5e02\u6c11\u5e0c\u671b\u7684\u52a8\u7ebf\u3002Peel\u548cRedpath\u5165\u53e3\u7684\u4e24\u4e2a\u5b8f\u4f1f\u7684\u5927\u95e8\u88ab\u91cd\u65b0\u5b9a\u4e49\uff0c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u539f\u59cb\u9053\u8def\u88ab\u4fee\u590d\uff0c\u91cd\u5efaSerpentine\u5c0f\u5f84\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u8fd8\u589e\u6dfb\u4e86\u4e09\u6761\u65b0\u7684\u697c\u68af\u901a\u9053\u548c\u8bb8\u591a\u7528\u6728\u6750\u3001\u82b1\u5c97\u5ca9\u94fa\u8def\u77f3\u6216\u82b1\u5c97\u5ca9\u677f\u642d\u5efa\u7684\u5e73\u53f0\u3002<\/p>\n

The structuring elements for circulation respect both Olmsted’s original layout and the desire lines imposed from years of use. These included redefining the two majestic gateways at the Peel and Redpath entrances, the remediation of a section of Olmsted Road, the reconstruction of the Serpentine path, three new staired pathways and numerous landings in wood, granite pavers or granite slabs.<\/p>\n
