Change Studio<\/strong><\/a>: Forgotten run-down warehouses and factory floors have been rejuvenated by the influx of cultural and creative industries. While being transformed with a new lease of life, the area becomes a hybrid of post-industrial park and urban space \u2013 what we call a Thriving Neighbourhood.Buildings and completion of landscape are only the start. We have left space for neighbourhoods in the area to grow. After people start to work, ship, gather, and live here, buildings and landscape will grow upon human interactions, ever-improving along with the transformation of the city.<\/p>\n

\u9879\u76ee\u4f4d\u4e8e\u5317\u4eac\u4e1c\u56db\u73af\u81f3\u4e94\u73af\u4e4b\u95f4\uff0c\u88ab\u7eb5\u6a2a\u4ea4\u9519\u7684\u6570\u6761\u94c1\u8f68\u6240\u5272\u636e\u30022015\u5e74\u4ee5\u524d\uff0c\u8fd9\u91cc\u662f\u671d\u9633\u533a\u9ad8\u7891\u5e97\u4e61\u897f\u5e97\u6751\u7684\u5317\u4eac\u73bb\u7483\u5382\u4ed3\u5e93\uff0c\u7834\u8d25\u503e\u9893\u3002\u6709\u7684\u88ab\u7528\u4e8e\u5b58\u653e\u73bb\u7483\u5236\u54c1\uff0c\u6709\u7684\u88ab\u79df\u7ed9\u751f\u4ea7\u6d82\u6599\u3001\u77f3\u7070\u7b49\u7684\u52a0\u5de5\u5382\uff0c\u8fd8\u6709\u7684\u662f\u4e00\u4e9b\u5de5\u4eba\u7684\u5bbf\u820d\u3002\u968f\u7740\u57ce\u5e02\u53d1\u5c55\u7684\u5951\u673a\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u57ce\u5e02\u8fb9\u7f18\u5730\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u548c\u72ec\u6709\u73af\u5883\u6210\u4e3a\u4e86\u88ab\u6539\u9020\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\uff0c\u4e5f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u8be5\u5730\u533a\u57ce\u5e02\u66f4\u65b0\u7684\u793a\u8303\u6bb5\u3002<\/p>\n

The project is located between East Fourth Ring and East Fifth Ring roads of Beijing, fragmented by several railways. It was the warehouse of Beijing Glass Company prior to 2015. Some of them were used to store glasses, some were leased out to paint and lime factories, while others were used as workers\u2019 dormitories. Redevelopment plans have given this fringe area of historic significance and unique environment possibility of improvement. It was also made the polit section of the area\u2019s redevelopment.<\/p>\n

\u7528\u5730\u4fdd\u7559\u4e86\u516d\u6761\u4ea4\u9519\u94c1\u8f68\u5206\u5272\u4e0b\u7684\u533a\u57df\u5212\u5206\uff0c\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u7684\u5546\u4e1a\u3001\u529e\u516c\u3001\u4f11\u95f2\u548c\u521b\u610f\u7a7a\u95f4\u7b49\u529f\u80fd\u5728\u539f\u6709\u7684\u5382\u623f\u808c\u7406\u4e4b\u4e0b\u5efa\u7acb\u8d77\u65b0\u7684\u6df7\u5408\u793e\u533a\u3002\u4f5c\u4e3a\u6574\u4e2a\u5c0f\u9547\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u8bbe\u8ba1\u56e2\u961f\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u8054\u5408\u591a\u5bb6\u5efa\u7b51\u4e8b\u52a1\u6240\u4e0e\u59d4\u6258\u65b9\u4e00\u8d77\u89c4\u5212\u4e86\u5408\u7406\u7684\u4ea4\u901a\u65b9\u5f0f\u6765\u8fde\u63a5\u88ab\u5206\u88c2\u7684\u8857\u533a\uff0c\u521b\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u65b0\u7684\u6574\u4f53\u878d\u5408\u4e30\u5bcc\u7684\u3001\u591a\u529f\u80fd\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\u5f62\u6001\u3002\u5c0f\u9547\u7684\u5efa\u8bbe\u548c\u53d1\u5c55\u662f\u52a8\u6001\u7684\u8fc7\u7a0b\uff0c\u9700\u8981\u4e3a\u66f4\u65b0\u7559\u6709\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5e76\u5171\u540c\u6fc0\u53d1\u793e\u533a\u6d3b\u529b\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u5e0c\u671b\u5728\u8bbe\u8ba1\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\u901a\u8fc7\u6280\u672f\u548c\u6750\u6599\u7684\u4f18\u5316\uff0c\u8ba9\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u521d\u671f\u5efa\u8bbe\u6210\u672c\u5c3d\u91cf\u63a7\u5236\u4f4e\uff0c\u7ed9\u540e\u671f\u7684\u8fd0\u8425\u6709\u5145\u5206\u7684\u4fdd\u969c\u3002<\/p>\n

Six railways cut through the project area. A series of commercial, office, recreational, and creative zones dotted across what were factories and warehouses, forming a new hybrid community. As the landscape designer, Change Studio planned the most optimised transport links that connect the fragmented neighbourhoods, together with other contractors and the client. The result is integral and multifunctional. Through the designing process we aspired to optimise the technology and usage of materials, so as to control cost and leave buffer for the project\u2019s operations later on.<\/p>\n

\u4e00\u5ea7\u5ea7\u7070\u767d\u5899\u5761\u5f62\u9876\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\u9519\u843d\u6709\u81f4\uff0c\u5145\u6ee1\u73b0\u4ee3\u6c14\u606f\u7684\u56ed\u533a\u573a\u9986\u5bbd\u9614\u655e\u4eae\uff0c\u65f6\u800c\u4ece\u65c1\u8fb9\u547c\u5578\u800c\u8fc7\u7684\u706b\u8f66\u4ea4\u7ec7\u8fc7\u53bb\u3001\u73b0\u5728\u548c\u672a\u6765\uff0c\u4f7f\u5f97\u8fd9\u91cc\u591a\u4e86\u4e00\u4efd\u5386\u53f2\u611f\u548c\u6587\u827a\u6c14\u606f\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n

\u73b0\u5728\u5750\u5728\u8857\u8fb9\u7684\u5496\u5561\u9986\u8010\u5fc3\u7684\u7b49\u5f85\u4e0b\u4e00\u8d9f\u706b\u8f66\uff0c\u662f\u5927\u5bb6\u4e50\u6b64\u4e0d\u75b2\u7684\u4f11\u95f2\u65b9\u5f0f\u3002\u7eff\u76ae\u706b\u8f66\u5e26\u6765\u7684\u4e0a\u4e16\u7eaa\u5de5\u4e1a\u6587\u660e\u7684\u6c14\u606f\uff0c\u6b64\u65f6\u4e0e\u9759\u6b62\u7684\u73b0\u4ee3\u5efa\u7b51\u548c\u4eba\u5171\u4eab\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65f6\u7a7a\u4ea4\u9519\u7684\u77ac\u95f4\uff0c\u5f7c\u6b64\u6709\u4e86\u4e00\u79cd\u5fae\u5999\u7684\u8fde\u7ed3\u3002\u6865\u4e0b\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u4ece\u8f68\u9053\u529f\u80fd\u4e2d\u91ca\u653e\u51fa\u6765\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e0e\u8857\u9053\u8fde\u63a5\u7684\u754c\u9762\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u65b0\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u901a\u8fc7\u5730\u5f62\u7684\u5904\u7406\u548c\u690d\u7269\u7684\u5f15\u5165\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u8bb8\u591a\u4f11\u95f2\u7684\u3001\u6109\u5feb\u7684\u73af\u5883\u4e0e\u8857\u533a\u878d\u5408\uff0c\u6709\u4e9b\u573a\u5730\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e86\u505c\u8f66\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5e76\u878d\u5165\u548c\u5b8c\u5584\u4e86\u8857\u533a\u529f\u80fd\u7684\u914d\u5957\u3002\u5176\u4ed6\u505c\u8f66\u573a\u5206\u5e03\u5728\u573a\u5730\u7684\u5916\u56f4\uff0c\u4e3a\u884c\u4eba\u548c\u5176\u4ed6\u975e\u8f66\u8f86\u8fd0\u8f93\u65b9\u5f0f\u89e3\u653e\u4e86\u8857\u533a\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3002<\/p>\n

Buildings with light grey walls and sloped tops dotted across the area, long with modern well-lit venues. Roaring trains pass by and weave together the past, now, and future, giving the town some weight of history and sense of literature and arts.<\/p>\n

Waiting for the next train to pass by while sitting at the caf\u00e9 by the road is a popular pastime. Trains with green carriages of the old days give off industrial glory of the last century. They share this moment with static buildings and humans, each subtly connected to one another. The space under the railway bridges is liberated from the function of the railway, becoming the interface between public space and roads. These plots of new spaces provide a lot of recreational and enjoyable environment along the blocks, with terrain management and the introduction of plants. Some under-bridge spaces were designed into parking lots, competing the functions of the blocks. Other parking spaces are outside the main town area, saving the town centre for pedestrians and non-vehicle transport.<\/p>\n

The roads are the most important and complex core systems of the town. We designed them as continuous, nimble, and sharing spaces, with some public and private spaces interconnecting. The town has a lot of works by top architects, so we integrated their works into parts of the roads, minimising the designing of the roads and maximising the rich forms of the architecture. Most venues have left ample open space for activities, such as parks for train spotting, roller skating square, and the art gallery at the street corner. The most beautiful time of the neighbourhood is when people are drawn to shops\u2019 exquisite decorations, and when the roller-skating square is full of people.<\/p>\n
