Blue Temple<\/strong><\/a>: The construction serves 2 different functions. On one side, the school playground becomes an interactive and playful surface, a sort of ribbon that starts as a floor and morphs into a roof, kids can play on top, around and underneath the structure. On the other side, the design is addressing an unconsidered and informal public space in the city; an above ground water pipeline that over time became a pedestrian highway; by providing it with lighting at night for safety and aesthetic purposes, the structure also stands in the landscape as a sculpture, a landmark to create a sense of place.<\/p>\n

\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u5f97\u5230\u4e86\u9999\u6e2f\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4fe1\u6258\u57fa\u91d1\u7684\u8d44\u52a9\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u5f97\u4ee5\u6210\u578b\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u4e0e\u7f05\u7538\u7af9\u5b50\u6280\u672f\u5458Kyaw Zin Latt\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u4ed6\u4e5f\u662f\u201c\u7f05\u7538\u4eba\u7c7b\u6816\u606f\u5730\u201d\u7684\u627f\u5305\u5546\u3002\u4ed6\u53c2\u4e0e\u4e86\u7ed3\u6784\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u5e76\u5efa\u8bae\u4f7f\u7528\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u63a5\u5934\uff0c\u9009\u62e9\u5408\u9002\u7684\u7af9\u5b50\u54c1\u79cd\uff0c\u5728\u65bd\u5de5\u4e4b\u524d\u5c06\u4e00\u4e9b\u60f3\u6cd5\u505a\u62101:1\u7684\u539f\u578b\u3002<\/p>\n

Our project received a seed grant from Design Trust in Hong Kong that allowed the project to take shape. We worked together with Kyaw Zin Latt, a Myanmar bamboo technician, also contractor for \u2018Habitat for Humanity Myanmar\u2019. He was also involved in the design of the structure, by either suggesting different joints to be used, which bamboo species were appropriate, prototyping some ideas 1:1 scale before the construction.<\/p>\n

\u4e3a\u4e86\u4f7f\u65bd\u5de5\u8fc7\u7a0b\u5bf9\u5de5\u4eba\u6765\u8bf4\u66f4\u5bb9\u6613\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u51b3\u5b9a\u4e0d\u7ed8\u5236\u4efb\u4f55\u6587\u4ef6\uff0c\u800c\u4ec5\u4ec5\u4f9d\u9760\u4e00\u4e2a\u5efa\u7b51\u6a21\u578b\u4f5c\u4e3a\u65bd\u5de5\u4f9d\u636e\u30021:50 \u6bd4\u4f8b\u7684\u6a21\u578b\u4f7f\u7ed3\u6784\u53d8\u5f97\u53ef\u89c6\u5316\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u901a\u8fc7\u8bb0\u5f55\u6d4b\u91cf\u503c\u4e0e\u7ed8\u5236\u5c0f\u56fe\u8868\u6765\u89e3\u91ca\u65bd\u5de5\u7ec6\u8282\u3002<\/p>\n

In order to make the construction process easier for the workers, we decided not to draw any documents, but to rely only on an architecture model as a construction document. The 1:50 scale model was used to visualize the structure, write down measurements and draw small diagrams to explain construction details.<\/p>\n

\u5b66\u6821\u4e3a\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u5206\u914d\u4e86\u4e00\u5757\u573a\u5730\uff0c\u8be5\u573a\u5730\u4f4d\u4e8e\u4e2d\u592e\u5f00\u653e\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u8fb9\u7f18\uff0c\u4e3b\u8981\u4f9b\u7537\u5b69\u4eec\u8e22\u8db3\u7403\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u6307\u5b9a\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u5b9e\u9645\u4e0a\u662f\u5b66\u6821\u6d74\u5ba4\u540e\u9762\u7684\u5783\u573e\u573a\uff0c\u4e8e\u662f\u4e0d\u5f97\u4e0d\u82b1\u8d39\u6574\u6574\u4e00\u5468\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u6765\u5904\u7406\u5783\u573e\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u901a\u8fc7\u5c06\u5b66\u6821\u6700\u6709\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u573a\u5730\u6539\u9020\u6210\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u6700\u559c\u6b22\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u4f18\u5316\u4e86\u5b66\u6821\u6709\u9650\u7684\u5a31\u4e50\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n

The school allocated to our project a space that was at the border of the central open space that was mostly used by boys to play soccer. Our designated space was literally a rubbish dump behind the school bathroom. We had to spend an entire week cleaning up and dispose of the trash. By transforming the most problematic part of the school into a very desirable space for the kids, the limited space for recreational purposes was optimized in the school.<\/p>\n

\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u7406\u5ff5\u662f\u8bb2\u8bc9\u4e00\u4e2a\u5fae\u6545\u4e8b\uff0c\u5c06\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6545\u4e8b\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u5145\u6ee1\u60f3\u8c61\u529b\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\u7684\u5bfc\u5411\uff0c\u5c31\u50cf\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u8dd1\u9177\u6e38\u620f\uff0c\u8ba9\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u81ea\u7531\u63a2\u7d22\u591a\u79cd\u53c2\u4e0e\u65b9\u5f0f\u3002\u4e1d\u5e26\u72b6\u7ed3\u6784\u7684\u4e24\u7aef\u90fd\u80fd\u5438\u5f15\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u524d\u6765\u73a9\u800d\u3002\u4e00\u7aef\u662f\u4e00\u68f5\u7f8e\u4e3d\u7684\u6811\u4e0b\u7684\u7af9\u5e2d\u5730\u677f\uff0c\u53e6\u4e00\u7aef\u662f\u503e\u659c\u7684\u51c9\u68da\u3002<\/p>\n

The concept was to create a micro narrative as a series of imagination-fueled, self-directed games into a kind of parkour. The games give the children the freedom of exploring a multitude of ways of engagement. Both ends of the ribbon-like structure are inviting and welcoming the kids to come and play. One end starts as a bamboo mat floor right under a beautiful tree, the other as a tilted pergola.<\/p>\n
