Studio Lagom<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u82cf\u62c9\u7279\u867d\u7136\u4e0d\u50cf\u5b5f\u4e70\u548c\u5fb7\u91cc\u8fd9\u79cd\u5370\u5ea6\u5927\u57ce\u5e02\u4e00\u6837\u7a7a\u95f4\u532e\u4e4f\uff0c\u4f46\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u9910\u5385\u4ecd\u666e\u904d\u5904\u4e8e\u5c01\u95ed\u7a7a\u8c03\u73af\u5883\u7ecf\u8425\u7684\u72b6\u6001\u3002\u8fd9\u5e76\u4e0d\u662f\u8bf4\u5e26\u6709\u5927\u91cf\u6237\u5916\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u9910\u5385\u4e0d\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u8fd9\u7c7b\u9910\u5385\u591a\u4e3a\u5b9e\u7528\u4e3b\u4e49\uff0c\u4e0d\u592a\u6ce8\u610f\u201c\u573a\u6240\u8425\u9020\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n

Studio Lagom<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aSurat may not be as space-starved as Indian metropolises of Mumbai and Delhi, but the restaurant typology sees a predominance of eateries operating within enclosed, air-conditioned environments. That\u2019s not to say that restaurants with a considerable al fresco section do not exist, but these are limited to largely utilitarian establishments that pay scant heed to \u2018place-making\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u6240\u4ee5\u5f53\u5ba2\u6237\u627e\u5230\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u60f3\u8981\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e00\u4e2a\u5496\u5561\/\u9910\u5385\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u601d\u8def\u4e00\u4e0b\u5b50\u5c31\u8f6c\u5230\u521b\u9020\u67d0\u6837\u8fd9\u4e2a\u57ce\u5e02\u7f3a\u5c11\u7684\u4e8b\u7269\uff1a\u4e00\u95f4\u771f\u6b63\u610f\u4e49\u4e0a\u7cbe\u5fc3\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u82b1\u56ed\u9910\u5385\u3002\u8003\u8651\u5230\u8fd9\u5757\u571f\u5730\u662f\u79df\u7684\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u660e\u786e\u4e86\u8bbe\u8ba1\u601d\u8def\uff1a\u5c3d\u91cf\u51cf\u5c11\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u5916\u5728\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u91c7\u7528\u7ecf\u6d4e\u5b9e\u60e0\u7684\u6750\u6599\u4f7f\u9879\u76ee\u6210\u672c\u5408\u7406\u5316\u3002<\/p>\n

So when the clients approached the architect to design a cafe\/restaurant, the design thoughts immediately veered to creating something that the city lacked: a well-designed garden restaurant in the true sense of the word. Given that the land was leased, further clarified this vision: a design that kept the built-form to the minimum and used economic materials to rationalise project costs.<\/p>\n

\u9879\u76ee\u4f4d\u4e8e\u4e00\u4e2a\u975e\u5e38\u9002\u5b9c\u7684\u5b89\u9759\u5c0f\u5df7\u4e4b\u4e2d\uff1a\u76f8\u5bf9\u9759\u8c27\u7684\u73af\u5883\u6709\u52a9\u4e8e\u8425\u9020\u4e0d\u53ef\u6216\u7f3a\u7684\u60a0\u95f2\u6c1b\u56f4\uff0c\u8fd9\u5bf9\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u5f00\u53d1\u81f3\u5173\u91cd\u8981\u3002\u5c3d\u7ba1\u9910\u5385\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u6709\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u9690\u79c1\uff0c\u4f46\u8003\u8651\u5230\u5b83\u7684\u5730\u7406\u4f4d\u7f6e\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u4e5f\u60f3\u4e0e\u573a\u5730\u6709\u6240\u547c\u5e94\u3002\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u5728\u8857\u9053\u548c\u7c89\u7164\u7070\u7816\u5899\u4e4b\u95f4\u5efa\u7acb\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5bbd\u9614\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u67b6\u9ad8\u5c42\uff0c\u4f5c\u4e3a\u9910\u5385\u7684\u8fc7\u6e21\u201c\u8fb9\u754c\u201d\u3002\u8fd9\u6761\u5e26\u72b6\u7684\u7eff\u8272\u573a\u5730\u53ef\u4ee5\u4f5c\u4e3a\u8857\u8fb9\u5496\u5561\u9986\uff0c\u9002\u5408\u5feb\u9910\u548c\u5496\u5561\u3002<\/p>\n

The location in a quiet by-lane was opportune: the relative serenity would further the requisite laid-back air that was crucial to this type of development. While the restaurant had to have a certain privacy, given it\u2019s location, the architect also wanted to \u2018respond\u2019 to the street. Ergo, a wide\u00a0landscaped elevated set-back\u00a0was created as a transition from the street level to the fly-ash brick masonry wall that marked the \u2018boundary\u2019 of the restaurant. This green band would serve as a street-side cafe, handy for a quick bite or cuppa.<\/p>\n

\u5899\u7684\u53e6\u4e00\u8fb9\uff0c\u662f\u5927\u5385\u5f0f\u7684\u5165\u53e3\u56f4\u5408\u7a7a\u95f4\uff08\u6bd7\u90bb\u6c34\u4f53\uff09\uff0c\u5c06\u4f60\u5f15\u5165\u5e26\u6709\u4e2d\u592e\u5f00\u653e\u5f0f\u5ead\u9662\u548c\u5916\u56f4\u534a\u5c01\u95ed\u533a\u7684\u9910\u5385\u4e3b\u4f53\u3002\u9910\u5385\u7684\u5ba4\u5185\u8bbe\u8ba1\u81ea\u7136\u6d41\u7545\uff0c\u5176\u6750\u6599\uff0c\u8272\u5f69\u548c\u7ed3\u6784\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u90fd\u6e90\u81ea\u5f53\u5730\u3002\u9732\u5929\u533a\u57df\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e0d\u540c\u7a0b\u5ea6\u7684\u534a\u5f00\u653e\u533a\u57df\u90fd\u8bbe\u6709\u5ea7\u4f4d\u3002\u4e2d\u95f4\u7a7a\u5730\u7684\u65c1\u8fb9\u5c31\u662f\u5728\u539f\u5730\u5efa\u9020\u7684\u5149\u6ed1\u6c34\u6ce5\u201c\u957f\u51f3\u201d\u3002\u5728\u5165\u53e3\u95e8\u5385\u7684\u4e00\u4fa7\u662f\u7531\u7ec6\u957f\u7684\u6ce2\u72b6\u94a2\u4e1d\u7f51\u548c\u6c34\u6ce5\u5899\u56f4\u8d77\u6765\u7684\u533a\u57df\uff0c\u5e26\u6709\u5f00\u53e3\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4f7f\u5176\u66f4\u50cf\u662f\u4e00\u5757\u5c4f\u98ce\u800c\u4e0d\u662f\u5899\u58c1\uff1b\u800c\u5728\u53e6\u4e00\u4fa7\u5219\u662f\u4e00\u5757\u5b8c\u5168\u5f00\u653e\u7684\u533a\u57df\u3002\u4e8c\u8005\u7684\u5c4b\u9876\u90fd\u662f\u6ce2\u7eb9GI\u677f\uff0c\u5176\u8fb9\u7f18\u90fd\u88ab\u7cbe\u5fc3\u526a\u5207\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u5f3a\u5316\u4e86\u6574\u4f53\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u611f\u53d7\u3002<\/p>\n

Beyond the wall, the entry was orchestrated through a lobby-like enclosed space (abutted by a waterbody) that \u2018releases\u2019 you into the restaurant proper, with a central open courtyard and peripheral semi-enclosed areas.\u00a0The visual aesthetic within is organic and free-flowing, with materials, colours and forms that are grounded to the earth. The seating options range from the al fresco to ones with varying degrees of semi-openness. Immediately bordering the central void are smooth cement \u2018benches\u2019 created in situ. While to one side of the entrance lobby is a section shielded by a slim undulating ferrocement wall with cut-outs \u2014 more screen than wall \u2014 to the other is an open section, both are roofed by corrugated GI sheets whose edges are cut such that they, collectively, reinforce the organic look and feel.<\/p>\n
