Instinct Fabrication<\/a>\uff1a<\/strong> SUNAC Beijing West Changan is located in the new city of Mentougou in the west of Beijing in a unique natural settings. It is a new landmark of urban complex in the western region of the Capital in the future. The project sits next to the intersection of Mentougou Xincheng Street and Jinan Road, the west extension of Changan Street. The adjacency of subway transit station of Line S1, also offers a convenient traffic and accessibility.<\/p>\n

\u5982\u4f55\u5728\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u6761\u4ef6\u4e0b\uff0c\u6ee1\u8db3\u591a\u6837\u7684\u4f7f\u7528\u9700\u6c42\uff0c\u521b\u9020\u5177\u6709\u6d3b\u529b\u3001\u5438\u5f15\u529b\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u662f\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e4b\u521d\u6025\u5f85\u89e3\u51b3\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u3002<\/p>\n

The project is a mixed use development\u00a0including\u00a0apartment, office and retail stores, with a variety of users and their diverse\u00a0needs. The periphery\u00a0of the site\u00a0is an established\u00a0vibrant commercial street, and the inner courtyard\u00a0is a quiet nook in contrast. The inner courtyard\u00a0is\u00a0a rectangular space\u00a0about 30mx80m, enclosed by high-rise buildings, resulting in lack of light, and its substantial\u00a0area of\u00a0fire fighting zone.<\/p>\n

Under such conditions, how to meet a variety of use needs and create a dynamic and attractive space is the key question to be answered at the beginning of the design.<\/p>\n

We hope to cater\u00a0them with a vibe\u00a0that helps ease\u00a0their anxieties and provides\u00a0them with a gathering place to celebrate\u00a0lives; The project\u00a0is also branded as\u00a0a “Forest Life” place by creating a green garden filled with oxygen, sun and vegetation, as people feel\u00a0natural and refresh state of mind like \u2018being in a\u00a0forest\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u9879\u76ee\u573a\u5730\u5185\u5411\u6027\u4e0e\u5916\u5411\u6027\u5e76\u5b58\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u5efa\u7b51\u4e5f\u5b58\u5728\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u7acb\u9762\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u6211\u4eec\u66f4\u5e0c\u671b\u666f\u89c2\u98ce\u683c\u7b80\u5355\u7eaf\u7cb9\u3002\u4ee5\u6781\u7b80\u7684\u94fa\u88c5\u6392\u7ebf\u505a\u4e3a\u9879\u76ee\u57fa\u5e95\uff0c\u5176\u4ed6\u4e00\u5207\u5747\u5728\u8fd9\u822c\u7edf\u4e00\u7684\u79e9\u5e8f\u4e0b\u3002\u81f3\u7b80\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u5143\u7d20\u3001\u6750\u6599\u8d28\u611f\u3001\u989c\u8272\u79cd\u7c7b\u3001\u79cd\u690d\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u4f7f\u4eba\u4eec\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7a7a\u95f4\u91cc\u66f4\u5bb9\u6613\u5e73\u9759\u4e0b\u6765\u3002<\/p>\n

Due to both internal and external interfaces of the site, as well as multiple facade patterns of the buildings, so we prefer the landscape to be simple and pure. With the minimum paving strips as the site base, everything else is just following and let them be. The selected elements, material texture, color palette and planting species make it easier for people to cool down in this space.<\/p>\n

Vegetated\u00a0only with\u00a0tall trees combining\u00a0low groundcover, the overall space\u00a0looks \u00a0clean and in rhythm. While tall trees could\u00a0help hide\u00a0the high-rise facade and reduce the\u00a0pressive feeling\u00a0like a well, people will be more\u00a0benefited\u00a0from sufficient\u00a0shade and green embracement, celebrating \u2019Forest Life\u2018.<\/p>\n

In the enclosed space, we fully manipulate the verticality to create more opportunities for open and diverse programs to meet the needs from wide-range groups of people. Soccer games on the wavy lawn, outdoor dining \/ workstation by the floating table, sitting on the back on the woven seat, playing and running in the vibrant fountain, the life scenes not only are set in vivid picture frames, but also are embraced by this landscape as the core highlight of the project.<\/p>\n
