Crossboundaries<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u5728\u8fc7\u53bb 40 \u5e74\u91cc\uff0c\u6df1\u5733\u4ece\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c0f\u6e14\u6751\u53d1\u5c55\u6210\u4e3a\u4e2d\u56fd\u6700\u5177\u521b\u65b0\u6027\u7684\u73b0\u4ee3\u5316\u57ce\u5e02\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u968f\u7740\u4eba\u53e3\u4ece\u51e0\u5343\u4eba\u8fc5\u901f\u589e\u957f\u5230\u4eca\u5929\u7684\u7ea6 1700 \u4e07\u5c45\u6c11\uff0c\u5df2\u7136\u53d1\u5c55\u6210\u4e3a\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e16\u754c\u7ea7\u522b\u7684\u8d85\u7ea7\u57ce\u5e02\u3002<\/p>\n

Crossboundaries<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aShenzhen developed within the past 40 years, from a tiny fishing village, to one of the most innovative, modern cities in China. With a rapid population growth from just a few thousand, to around 17 million inhabitants today, it has evolved into a thriving megalopolis.<\/p>\n

One of the areas the local government had foreseen to be transformed into a sports & leisure zone, was the 1.2 km long rooftop of the Southern terminal and depot building of Shenzhen’s Metro Line 2, which leads to Shekou, a major crossing point to neighboring Hong Kong by ferry, bus, car or train.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the project was to make use of the existing, yet previously unutilized rooftop area and to integrate the building better into the fabric of its surroundings, all whilst rethinking the civic function of urban design in the 21st century.<\/p>\n

One of the challenges was to accommodate the needs of different user groups: first, to improve the quality of physical education in the surrounding schools, second, to provide places for the general public to enjoy leisurely sports, and third, to establish facilities for professional sports events and competitions with an audience.<\/p>\n

Crossboundaries partnered with the Shenzhen Nanshan District Government, to focus on the development of the roof surface as a refurbishing measure, upgrading the existing Shenzhen Metro line 2 Depot and furthermore, creating an elevated sports and leisure park on top of it.<\/p>\n

The actual depot itself is primarily used for maintenance of the Metro trains (cleaning, repair, technical inspections etc.), and contains also administrative areas, such as the crew center, the signal office, equipment rooms and such.<\/p>\n

\u5df2\u5b9e\u73b0\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u5305\u62ec\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u4f53\u80b2\u8bbe\u65bd\uff1a\u5176\u4e2d\u4e00\u4e9b\u4e5f\u9002\u5408\u4e13\u4e1a\u8fd0\u52a8\u961f\u4f7f\u7528\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e00\u4e2a\u5efa\u5728\u57ce\u5e02\u57fa\u7840\u8bbe\u65bd\u73b0\u6709\u90e8\u5206\u4e0a\u7684\u8bad\u7ec3\u57fa\u5730\u3002<\/p>\n

The realized concept consists of a sequenced stretch of numerous sports facilities, combined with a park for recreation, built on an existing part of the city\u2019s infrastructure. In line with the original intention of the architects, a public, accessible space was created, complementing a previously fragmented urban context.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u5bf9\u9879\u76ee\u8981\u6c42\u548c\u539f\u5740\u7684\u521d\u6b65\u5206\u6790\u4e2d\uff0cCrossboundaries \u7740\u624b\u89e3\u51b3\u4e09\u4e2a\u4e3b\u8981\u65b9\u9762\uff1a<\/p>\n

In the initial analysis of the project requirements and the original site, Crossboundaries set out to address three main aspects:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I. \u73af\u5883\u4e00\u81f4\u6027\u2014\u2014\u5b8f\u89c2\u3001\u4e2d\u89c2\u3001\u5fae\u89c2\u5c42\u9762\u00a0Contextual consistency – on a Macro, Meso, Micro Level<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u5b8f\u89c2\u5c42\u9762\uff1a\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u9996\u5148\u5ba1\u89c6\u6392\u67e5\u4e86\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u6574\u4f53\u57ce\u5e02\u73af\u5883\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u9010\u6e10\u7ec6\u5316\u5230\u573a\u5730\u7684\u5f53\u5730\u60c5\u51b5\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e0e\u6cb3\u6d41\u548c\u6d77\u6e7e\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u6f5c\u5728\u901a\u9053\u3002
\n\u4e2d\u89c2\u5c42\u9762\uff1a\u5bf9\u4e8e\u8fde\u63a5\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u5468\u8fb9\u6559\u80b2\u3001\u5546\u4e1a\u548c\u4f4f\u5b85\u8bbe\u65bd\u533a\u57df\u6709\u4e86\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u8ba4\u8bc6\u3002
\n\u5fae\u578b\u5c42\u9762\uff1a\u6700\u7ec8\u8303\u56f4\u8bbe\u8ba1\u573a\u5730\u4e0a\uff0c\u5730\u94c1\u603b\u7ad9\u7684\u73b0\u6709\u5efa\u7b51\u5305\u62ec\u5176\u505c\u8f66\u573a\u3002<\/p>\n

The architects started with reviewing the overall urban context of the project (macro). Then, continued with gradually zooming in on the local circumstances of the site, examining the surrounding educational, commercial and residential facilities in relation to potential accesses and connections in between the river and the bay area (meso). Finally, on the given design site, they also reassessed the existing building of the Metro terminal including its parking (micro).<\/p>\n

1.2 \u516c\u91cc\u957f\u7684\u5ef6\u4f38\u5efa\u7b51\u7fa4\uff0c\u6700\u5bbd\u5904\u4e3a 70 m\uff0c\u6700\u7a84\u5904\u4e3a 50 m\uff0c\u5b8c\u5168\u963b\u65ad\u4e86\u9644\u8fd1\u793e\u533a\u5bf9\u4e8e\u6d77\u6e7e\u7684\u89c6\u89c9\u7a7f\u900f\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u5bf9\u793e\u533a\u51e0\u4e4e\u6ca1\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u5b9e\u9645\u610f\u4e49\u3002\u5373\u4e0d\u589e\u52a0\u4efb\u4f55\u7f8e\u5b66\u4ef7\u503c\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e0d\u670d\u52a1\u4e8e\u7279\u5b9a\u7684\u529f\u80fd\u76ee\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

The first challenge is the 1,2 km long stretched building complex. With an overall height of about 15 m, a width of 70 m at the widest and 50 m at the narrowest point, the original complex completely cut off nearby neighborhoods from accessing the bay, neither adding any aesthetic value nor serving a specific functional purpose.<\/p>\n

\u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e3b\u8981\u8003\u8651\u7684\u662f\u5c06\u65b0\u7684\u8fd0\u52a8\u8bad\u7ec3\u533a\u878d\u5165\u5468\u56f4\u73af\u5883\uff0c\u5c06\u5176\u4e0e\u9644\u8fd1\u7684\u4f4f\u5b85\u548c\u6559\u80b2\u5efa\u7b51\u8fde\u63a5\u8d77\u6765\u3002\u5c3d\u7ba1\u5929\u6865\u3001\u6865\u6881\u548c\u8d70\u5eca\u7684\u5b9e\u65bd\u4e0d\u662f\u521d\u59cb\u8303\u56f4\u548c\u7b2c\u4e00\u5efa\u8bbe\u9636\u6bb5\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4ecd\u7136\u628a\u5b83\u7eb3\u5165\u8003\u8651\u4e4b\u4e2d\u3002<\/p>\n

The next consideration was how to integrate the new sports and leisure zone into its surroundings, and how to connect it with residential and educational buildings located in the immediate neighborhood. This also became part of the overall investigation, though the implementation of fly-overs, bridges and corridors was not part of the initial scope nor the first construction phase.<\/p>\n

\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u7ad9\u53f0\u7684\u603b\u5c4b\u9876\u9762\u79ef\u4e3a 73,000 \u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\uff08\u9879\u76ee\u603b\u9762\u79ef\u63a5\u8fd1 77,000 \u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\uff09\uff0c\u4e3a\u7684\u662f\u5c3d\u6700\u5927\u53ef\u80fd\u6765\u63d0\u4f9b\u6d3b\u52a8\u7684\u573a\u6240\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u5bb9\u7eb3\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u5927\u578b\u6d3b\u52a8\uff08\u4f8b\u5982\u4f53\u80b2\u6bd4\u8d5b\u53ca\u5176\u89c2\u4f17\uff09 \u53c8\u6216\u662f\u5b89\u9759\u7684\u4f11\u61a9\u3002<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the overall roof surface area of 73,000 m2 (with a total project area close to 77,000 m2) was intended to provide spatial solutions, for both open and enclosed zones, to allow for more dynamic activities (e.g., sports, competitions and their supporting facilities), as well as for more static, “quiet” ones (e.g., recreation, enjoyment of nature).<\/p>\n

Crossboundaries \u7684\u8054\u5408\u521b\u59cb\u4eba\u517c\u5408\u4f19\u4eba\u8463\u704f\u89e3\u91ca\u8bf4\uff1a \u201c\u6211\u4eec\u9047\u5230\u4e86\u975e\u5e38\u7279\u6b8a\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\uff0c\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\uff0c\u57fa\u7840\u8bbe\u65bd\u548c\u4ea4\u901a\u76f8\u5173\u9886\u57df\u901a\u5e38\u5c5e\u4e8e\u653f\u5e9c\uff0c\u5f88\u96be\u670d\u52a1\u6216\u662f\u5c5e\u4e8e\u4efb\u4f55\u516c\u5171\u7528\u9014\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7ec6\u957f\u7684\u5c4b\u9876\u6709\u7740\u5de8\u5927\u7684\u6f5c\u529b\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u6539\u9020\u6210\u4e00\u4e2a\u4f53\u80b2\u8bad\u7ec3\u57fa\u5730\uff0c\u53ef\u4f9b\u66f4\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u9752\u5c11\u5e74\u4f7f\u7528\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u80fd\u4e30\u5bcc\u4f18\u5316\u5468\u56f4\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u73af\u5883\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were confronted with very exceptional circumstances\u201d, explains Hao Dong, co-founder and partner at Crossboundaries, \u201cin China, infrastructure and traffic related areas usually belong to the government and are not meant to be assigned any public use at all. This elongated rooftop presented itself with huge potential to be transformed into a usable park, accessible to a wider public, enriching the urban environment around it.\u201d<\/p>\n

II. \u4ea4\u7ec7\u7684\u7a0b\u5e8f\u529f\u80fd – \u50ac\u5316\u5242\u5e73\u53f0 Intertwined programmatic functions – A catalyst platform<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u4e09\u4e2a\u65b0\u9879\u76ee\u5f00\u53d1\u7684\u53d7\u76ca\u8005\u786e\u5b9a\u4e3a\u7279\u5b9a\u7684\u7528\u6237\u7fa4\u4f53\u2014\u2014\u9752\u5c11\u5e74\u3001\u672c\u5730\u804c\u4e1a\u4f53\u80b2\u4ff1\u4e50\u90e8\u3001\u5468\u8fb9\u5b66\u6821\u4ee5\u53ca\u6df1\u5733\u5404\u7c7b\u4f53\u80b2\u8d5b\u4e8b\u3002<\/p>\n

3 specific user groups were identified as beneficiaries of the new project development – the general public, local professional sports clubs (tennis and volleyball in particular), as well as 3 educational institutions: the Shenzhen Nanshan Foreign Language School and the Shenzhen Bay School, which composes of an Elementary and a Junior High program.<\/p>\n

Crossboundaries proposed to subdivide the plot into 3 programmatic zones for the 3 different user groups, all of which tightly link with their immediate surroundings: one for the general public, for social & cultural interaction; one for use of the adjacent schools only, fulfilling educational functions; finally, one for professional sports, for training activities and hosting of competitions with audience.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the architects divided the rooftop stretch into 5 segments: the northernmost part is dedicated to the Shenzhen Nanshan Foreign Language School, followed by the Professional Sports Competition and Training zone, then the facilities for Shenzhen Bay School\u2019s North Campus and South Campus, ending with an area dedicated to the general public for leisure, fitness and greenery. In a functional sense, the strip satisfies needs of multiple user groups for sport and leisure facilitation, becoming a linear recreation hub serving the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Most of the pedestrian walkway is made of stone pavement, while the leisure trail is mostly covered with timber and the sports track with a rubber surface.<\/p>\n

The top parts of the pylons have numbers \u2013 100, 200, 300, etc. – marking the distance one has walked.<\/p>\n
