CeCuCo, Centre for Culture and Community, is a research project with an ambitious task: the\u00a0design of a cultural centre without a fixed context, capable of transforming itself to\u00a0adapt to anyone and anywhere. This is noa*’s vision of a multifunctional space, translated\u00a0into a sustainable model which is versatile for all situations. Among the infinite design\u00a0possibilities, it was clear from the very beginning which direction to take: to design an\u00a0architecture that is not indifferent to what happens inside it, a flexible space in which\u00a0the community can decide, act and makes her moves.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u51e0\u4f55\u5f62\u72b6\u4e3a\u4e09\u89d2\u5f62\uff0c\u5728\u5e73\u9762\u548c\u7acb\u9762\u4e2d\u4ee5\u6a21\u5757\u5316\u65b9\u5f0f\u91cd\u590d\u6446\u653e\u3002\u7b2c\u4e00\u79cd\u6446\u653e\u65b9\u5f0f\u662f\u5c06\u4e09\u89d2\u5f62\u6a21\u5757\u5185\u5d4c\u57283×3 m\u7684\u6b63\u65b9\u5f62\u4e2d\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e8c\u79cd\u5219\u662f\u5185\u5d4c\u57283×1.5m\u7684\u77e9\u5f62\u4e2d\u3002\u4f7f\u7528\u6613\u4e8e\u7ec4\u88c5\u7684\u51e0\u4f55\u56fe\u5f62\u8ba9\u6587\u5316\u4e2d\u5fc3\u53ef\u4ee5\u6839\u636e\u73af\u5883\u7684\u9700\u8981\u8fdb\u884c\u6269\u5c55\u6216\u6536\u7f29\uff0c\u5728\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u5c42\u9762\uff0c\u4e09\u89d2\u5f62\u53ef\u4ee5\u901a\u8fc7\u7ec4\u5408\u591a\u79cd\u5f62\u72b6\u6765\u4ea7\u751f\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u7c7b\u578b\uff0c\u5982\u5e73\u53f0\u3001\u5ead\u9662\u6216\u96f6\u661f\u5206\u5e03\u7684\u7fa4\u843d\u3002<\/p>\n

The geometry of the project is based on an elementary form, the triangle, repeated\u00a0modularly in both plan and elevation. In the first case, the triangular module is inscribed\u00a0in a 3×3 m square, in the second in 3×1.5 m. Working with geometries easy to assemble\u00a0allows the cultural centre to expand or contract according to the needs of the context. In\u00a0addition, on an urban planning level, the triangles can combine in many types of shapes,\u00a0resulting in different space typologies like the slab, the courtyard or the puncti\u00a0form\u00a0village.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u7acb\u9762\u4e0a\u4f7f\u7528\u8be5\u6a21\u5757\u53ef\u4ee5\u914d\u7f6e\u5404\u79cd\u7acb\u9762\u7684\u5f62\u72b6\u3002noa*\u5c06\u7acb\u9762\u60f3\u8c61\u6210\u4e00\u4e2a\u68cb\u76d8\uff1a\u5efa\u7b51\u5143\u7d20\u53ef\u4ee5\u7531\u4f53\u9a8c\u8005\u6765\u63a7\u5236\uff0c\u4f7f\u5176\u6309\u7167\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u89c4\u5219\u548c\u65b9\u5411\u79fb\u52a8\u3002\u95e8\u548c\u7a97\u6237\u90fd\u53ef\u4ee5\u79fb\u52a8\u3001\u5c55\u5f00\u3001\u6253\u5f00\u94f0\u94fe\u3001\u964d\u4f4e\u3001\u5347\u9ad8\u3001\u534a\u5f00\u2026\u2026\u7531\u79fb\u52a8\u6216\u56fa\u5b9a\u7ec4\u4ef6\u7ec4\u6210\u7684\u76f4\u89c2\u800c\u6709\u8da3\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\u5177\u6709\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\uff0c\u793e\u533a\u5c45\u6c11\u4e0e\u5efa\u7b51\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u4e92\u52a8\u548c\u53cd\u5e94\u6e38\u620f\u4e3a\u591a\u6837\u5316\u7684\u573a\u666f\u8d4b\u4e88\u4e86\u751f\u547d\u3002<\/p>\n

Using the module in the fa\u00e7ade opens up to a variety of configurations, creating a kind of fa\u00e7ade metamorphosis. noa* imagines the elevations as a chessboard: some elements can be moved, with certain rules and in certain directions, which it is then up to the people who experience the architecture to control. Doors can be moved, fanned out, turned on their hinges, lowered, raised, ajar… and the same goes for windows. A wide range of possibilities for an intuitive and playful architecture, made up of moves and countermoves, where the game of action and reaction between community and building gives life to the most diverse scenarios.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u5b9a\u4e49\u8fd9\u4e2a\u591a\u529f\u80fd\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u65f6\uff0cnoa*\u9996\u5148\u8c03\u67e5\u4e86\u6587\u5316\u548c\u793e\u533a\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u9700\u6c42\u4ee5\u53ca\u521b\u5efa\u6700\u5927\u5305\u5bb9\u6027\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002\u5982\u4f55\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e00\u4e2a\u7a7a\u95f4\u53ef\u4ee5\u540c\u65f6\u6ee1\u8db3\u5b69\u5b50\u4eec\u805a\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u73a9\u800d\u3001\u6210\u5e74\u4eba\u770b\u5c55\u89c8\u3001\u9752\u5c11\u5e74\u542c\u97f3\u4e50\u4f1a\u7684\u9700\u6c42\uff1f\u4e00\u4e2a\u5168\u5e74\u5f00\u653e\u3001\u975e\u6d88\u8d39\u6027\u8d28\u3001\u5e73\u8861\u516c\u5171\u548c\u79c1\u4eba\u5bb6\u5ead\u7ef4\u5ea6\u7684\u805a\u4f1a\u7a7a\u95f4\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u7279\u70b9\uff1f<\/p>\n

When defining the functional programme, noa* first investigated the needs of a cultural and community centre as well as the ways to create an architecture as inclusive as possible. How do you design a space that works in the same way for children who meet to play, adults to watch an exhibition, teenagers to listen to a concert? What are the characteristics of a meeting space that is open all year round, that is not for consumption and that represents the public counterbalance to the private domestic dimension?<\/p>\n

\u8fd9\u4e9b\u95ee\u9898\u7684\u7b54\u6848\u662f\u80fd\u591f\u6ee1\u8db3\u591a\u79cd\u9700\u6c42\u7684\u4e0d\u540c\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u662f\u56fa\u5b9a\u529f\u80fd\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u9879\u76ee\u901a\u8fc7\u9762\u79ef\u5927\u5c0f\u4ece8\u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\u5230115\u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\u4e0d\u7b49\u76846\u79cd\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u5e73\u9762\u5e03\u5c40\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u5bb9\u7eb3\u573a\u5730\u4e2d\u6240\u6709\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\u3002\u4f8b\u5982\uff0c\u5c0f\u6a21\u5757\u5bb9\u7eb3\u4e86\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c\u5ba4\u3001\u62a5\u644a\u3001\u50a8\u85cf\u5ba4\u3001\u7ba1\u7406\u529e\u516c\u5ba4\u3001\u697c\u68af\u548c\u66f4\u8863\u5ba4\uff0c\u5728\u5176\u4ed6\u7684\u5c0f\u6a21\u5757\u4e2d\u8fd8\u6709\u552e\u7968\u5904\u3002\u4e2d\u7b49\u5927\u5c0f\u7684\u6a21\u5757\u6709\u5395\u6240\u3001\u56fe\u4e66\u5ba4\u548c\u9732\u5929\u770b\u53f0\uff08\u5e76\u975e\u6240\u6709\u6a21\u5757\u90fd\u662f\u6709\u9876\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff09\u3002\u66f4\u5927\u5c3a\u5bf8\u7684\u6a21\u5757\u53ef\u4ee5\u5bb9\u7eb3\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\uff0c\u66f4\u6709115\u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\u7684\u5927\u578b\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e13\u4e3a\u5267\u9662\u548c\u7535\u5f71\u9662\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3002<\/p>\n

The natural answer to these questions was the decision to define different spaces capable\u00a0of satisfying multiple needs, rather than specifying a fixed list of functions. Through 6\u00a0types of floor plans, ranging from 8 to 115 m2, all the possible activities of the centre\u00a0are accommodated. For example, the small module houses the artist’s atelier, the newspaper\u00a0stall, the storeroom, the management office, the staircase, and the changing rooms. In the\u00a0extra small module, you can find a ticket office. In the medium module, the toilets, a\u00a0library room, and the open-air bleachers, since not all modules stand for covered spaces.\u00a0As the floor plans change to the larger size, the possibilities vary, culminating in the\u00a0large space, with 115 m2 available, designed for theatre and cinema.<\/p>\n

noa*\u5e0c\u671b\u5efa\u7b51\u6700\u7ec8\u90fd\u662f\u793e\u4f1a\u6027\u7684\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u5728\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u6240\u6709\u65b9\u9762\u90fd\u5177\u6709\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u6027\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u6750\u6599\u548c\u65bd\u5de5\u6280\u672f\u7684\u9009\u62e9\u3002\u5bf9\u4e8e\u8fd9\u4e2a\u539f\u578b\uff0cnoa*\u9009\u62e9\u4e86\u5929\u7136\u6750\u6599\u548c\u6613\u4e8e\u7ec4\u88c5\u548c\u62c6\u5378\u7684\u88f8\u9732\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\u7cfb\u7edf\u3002\u5728\u201c\u6807\u51c6\u6a21\u5757\u201d\u4e2d\uff0c\u5916\u5899\u7531\u88f8\u9732\u7684\u6728\u7ed3\u6784\u7cfb\u7edf\u548c\u7c98\u571f\u7816\u5899\u7ec4\u6210\uff0c\u4e2d\u95f4\u7a7f\u63d2\u4e09\u89d2\u5f62\u7684\u900f\u660e\u6a21\u5757\u3002\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u6027\u63aa\u65bd\u662f\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u6750\u6599\u7684\u6700\u7ec8\u9009\u62e9\u5fc5\u987b\u6839\u636e\u9879\u76ee\u73af\u5883\u8fdb\u884c\u9a8c\u8bc1\uff0c\u4ee5\u68c0\u67e5\u5b83\u4eec\u5728\u73b0\u573a\u7684\u5b9e\u9645\u53ef\u7528\u6027\u3001\u53d7\u6c14\u5019\u6761\u4ef6\u5f71\u54cd\u7684\u5bfc\u70ed\u6027\u3001\u52a0\u5de5\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\u7684\u80fd\u6e90\u6d88\u8017\u4ee5\u53ca\u5fc5\u8981\u7684\u4e13\u4e1a\u5904\u7406\u3002\u540c\u6837\uff0c\u7cbe\u5fc3\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u88c5\u7f6e\u53ef\u4ee5\u5bf9\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u751f\u6001\u8db3\u8ff9\u4ea7\u751f\u79ef\u6781\u5f71\u54cd\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u6587\u5316\u4e2d\u5fc3\u8fd8\u6709\u7eff\u8272\u5c4b\u9876\u548c\u51c9\u68da\u3001\u592a\u9633\u80fd\u7cfb\u7edf\u3001\u96e8\u6c34\u6536\u96c6\u7cfb\u7edf\u3001\u4ea4\u53c9\u901a\u98ce\u7cfb\u7edf\u4ee5\u53ca\u6c60\u5858\u548c\u6797\u533a\uff0c\u4ee5\u9002\u5e94\u6e29\u5e26\u5fae\u6c14\u5019\u3002<\/p>\n

noa* wanted an architecture that is social in its final purpose, and sustainable in all the\u00a0aspects of the design, including the choice of materials and construction techniques. For\u00a0this prototype were chosen natural materials and an exposed construction system, easy to\u00a0assemble and dismantle. In the \u201cstandard package\u201d, the fa\u00e7ade is made up of an exposed\u00a0wooden structural system and a wall of clay bricks, alternating with transparent parts,\u00a0which have also been modulated on the geometry of the triangle. The sustainable approach\u00a0must be central in the design: therefore, the final choice of materials must be verified\u00a0with the project environment, to check their actual availability on-site, their thermal\u00a0conductivity in relation to the climatic conditions, the energy\u00a0consumption in their\u00a0processing and the presence of the necessary know-how skills. Similarly, a careful design\u00a0of the installations can have a positive impact on the ecological footprint of the\u00a0building. The cultural centre includes the use of green roofs and pergolas, photovoltaic\u00a0systems, rainwater collecting systems, cross-ventilation systems as well as ponds and\u00a0wooded areas for a temperate microclimate.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u9879\u76ee\u4e2d\uff0cnoa*\u8bbe\u60f3\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u7075\u6d3b\u7684\u67b6\u6784\u4ee5\u5e94\u5bf9\u73af\u5883\u7684\u53d8\u5316\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u5728\u9879\u76ee\u5b8f\u89c2\u5230\u8857\u9053\u8bbe\u65bd\u7b49\u4e0d\u540c\u5c3a\u5ea6\u4e0a\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u8be5\u6587\u5316\u4e2d\u5fc3\u53ef\u4ee5\u5efa\u5728\u706b\u5c71\u5c9b\u4e0a\u7684\u6d77\u6ee9\u4e0a\u3001\u65af\u582a\u7684\u7eb3\u7ef4\u4e9a\u68ee\u6797\u4e2d\u3001\u5e95\u7279\u5f8b\u7684\u5e9f\u5f03\u4e4b\u5730\u6216\u67cf\u6797\u793e\u4f1a\u4e3b\u4e49\u4f4f\u5b85\u7684\u5c4b\u9876\u4e0a\u3002\u5b83\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u80fd\u591f\u6839\u636e\u73af\u5883\u5f62\u6001\u548c\u6c14\u5019\u8981\u6c42\u6765\u5851\u9020\u81ea\u8eab\uff0c\u5e76\u80fd\u4fdd\u6301\u5b8c\u6574\u793e\u4f1a\u5c5e\u6027\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u80fd\u5efa\u7acb\u4e0e\u5c45\u4f4f\u8005\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u4e92\u52a8\u3002<\/p>\n

With this project, noa* envisages a flexible architecture, capable of reacting to changes in context and at the same time of working on different scales, from the macro-project to the street furniture. This cultural centre could be located on a beach on a volcanic island, in the Scandinavian forests, on an abandoned lot in Detroit or on the roofs of socialist housing in Berlin. It is an architecture able to mould itself to the morphological and climatic requirements of the context while maintaining intact the concept of sociality and interaction between the building and those who live in it.<\/p>\n
