Taylor Knights<\/a><\/strong>\uff1a\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u662f\u7ef4\u591a\u5229\u4e9a\u56fd\u5bb6\u7f8e\u672f\u9986(NGV)\u5e74\u5ea6\u83b7\u5956\u4f5c\u54c1\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u4e24\u4e2a\u9636\u6bb5\u7684\u5168\u56fd\u7ade\u8d5b\u9009\u51fa\uff0c\u5927\u8d5b\u9080\u8bf7\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u548c\u591a\u5b66\u79d1\u56e2\u961f\u8fdb\u884c\u7edd\u5999\u7684\u4e34\u65f6\u7ed3\u6784\u6216\u88c5\u7f6e\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u4ee5\u6fc0\u6d3b\u58a8\u5c14\u672c\u6700\u5927\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u6587\u5316\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e4b\u4e00\u2014\u2014Grollo Equiset\u82b1\u56ed\u3002<\/p>\n

Taylor Knights<\/a><\/strong>\uff1aEach year, the annual commission is selected via a two-stage national competition, in which architects or multi-disciplinary teams are invited to submit a design for an engaging temporary structure or installation to activate the NGV\u2019s Grollo Equiset Garden, one of Melbourne\u2019s great civic and cultural spaces.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u662f\u7531\u5efa\u7b51\u516c\u53f8Taylor Knights\u4e0e\u827a\u672f\u5bb6James Carey\u5408\u4f5c\u6253\u9020\u7684\u6b22\u4e50\u3001\u751f\u52a8\u7684\u7c89\u7ea2\u8272\u6c34\u4e0a\u88c5\u7f6e\u3002\u7c89\u7ea2\u8272\u6c34\u57df\u7a7a\u95f4\u4ee4\u4eba\u8054\u60f3\u5230\u7ef4\u591a\u5229\u4e9a\u5185\u9646\u76d0\u6e56\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u65b9\u5c06\u5176\u4e0e\u8272\u5f69\u67d4\u548c\u7684\u672c\u571f\u690d\u7269\u666f\u89c2\u76f8\u7ed3\u5408\uff0c\u6253\u9020\u4e86\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8ba9\u4eba\u611f\u53d7\u6e05\u51c9\u7684\u88c5\u7f6e\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u63d0\u9192\u4eba\u4eec\u6c34\u4f53\u4f5c\u4e3a\u81ea\u7136\u548c\u6587\u5316\u8d44\u6e90\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n

pond[er] is a joyful, vivid pink, aquatic installation created by architecture firm Taylor Knights, in collaboration with artist James Carey. Combining a pink water space that is evocative of Victoria\u2019s inland salt lakes, with gently colourful Indigenous plant landscaping, it is an installation that invites you to dip your toes into the water while reminding us of the importance of bodies of water as both a natural and cultural resource.<\/p>\n

\u901a\u8fc7\u5185\u7f6e\u6fb3\u5927\u5229\u4e9a\u666f\u89c2\uff0c\u88c5\u7f6e\u6210\u4e3a\u6c89\u601d\u3001\u4ea4\u8c08\u3001\u8054\u7cfb\u548c\u73a9\u800d\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u65e8\u5728\u9f13\u52b1\u4eba\u4eec\u5b89\u9759\u5730\u5750\u4e0b\u6765\u89c2\u5bdf\u548c\u601d\u8003\u6c34\u548c\u690d\u7269\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u548c\u7269\u8d28\u5c5e\u6027\u3002\u88c5\u7f6e\u4fa7\u9762\u7684\u5e73\u53f0\u9f13\u52b1\u4eba\u4eec\u8fdb\u884c\u4e0e\u6c14\u5019\u548c\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u5371\u673a\u6709\u5173\u7684\u89c2\u5ff5\u3001\u60f3\u6cd5\u548c\u4e3b\u5f20\u7684\u8ba8\u8bba\u3002\u901a\u8fc7\u8fdb\u5165\u7c89\u7ea2\u8272\u7684\u6c60\u5858\uff0c\u6e38\u5ba2\u53ef\u4ee5\u76f4\u63a5\u63a5\u89e6\u5230\u6c34\u7684\u7269\u8d28\u6027\uff0c\u5728\u708e\u70ed\u7684\u590f\u5b63\u611f\u53d7\u6e05\u51c9\u3002<\/p>\n

By interiorising the Australian landscape,\u00a0pond[er]\u00a0becomes a space for contemplation, conversation, connection, and play. The installation is designed\u00a0to encourage moments of quietness; to sit and look\u00a0in\u00a0and\u00a0ponder\u00a0the temporal and material attributes of both water and flora.\u00a0The platform to the side of the installation encourages moments of conversation and to project\u00a0out; to\u00a0discuss\u00a0these notions, ideas, propositions, and provocations concerning our climate and biodiversity crisis.\u00a0By moving into the pink pond, visitors directly engage with the materiality of water, allowing them to cool off during the hot summer months.<\/p>\n

\u88c5\u7f6e\u9009\u62e9\u7684\u6750\u6599\u6765\u6e90\u548c\u5236\u9020\u90fd\u662f\u73af\u5883\u53cb\u597d\u7684\uff0c\u53ef\u4f9b\u5404\u79cd\u571f\u5730\u7ba1\u62a4\u3001\u672c\u5730\u5c45\u6c11\u548c\u793e\u533a\u56e2\u4f53\u4e8c\u6b21\u4f7f\u7528\u3002\u4e4b\u6240\u4ee5\u9009\u62e9\u8fd9\u4e9b\u6750\u6599\uff0c\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u5b83\u4eec\u5bf9\u751f\u6001\u53cb\u597d\u3001\u53ef\u56de\u6536\u5e76\u53ef\u5728\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u4e2d\u4f7f\u7528\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5e0c\u671b\u88c5\u7f6e\u5185\u7684\u4efb\u4f55\u6750\u6599\u90fd\u4e0d\u4f1a\u4ee5\u88ab\u9001\u5f80\u5783\u573e\u586b\u57cb\u573a\u800c\u544a\u7ec8\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u4e00\u76f4\u5728\u4e0e\u7ef4\u591a\u5229\u4e9a\u5ddeWillum Warrain\u672c\u5730\u534f\u4f1a\u5408\u4f5c\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5c06\u5728\u63a5\u4e0b\u6765\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u9879\u76ee\u4e2d\u5229\u7528\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u7684\u4e00\u4e9b\u6750\u6599\u3002These Are The Projects We Do Together\u662f\u4e00\u5bb6\u4f4d\u4e8e\u58a8\u5c14\u672c\u7684\u8de8\u5b66\u79d1\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5de5\u4f5c\u5ba4\uff0c\u4e13\u6ce8\u4e8e\u901a\u8fc7\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u9879\u76ee\u548c\u7f51\u7ad9\u8fdb\u884c\u6559\u80b2\u548c\u5b9e\u9a8c\u3002\u200b\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u7684\u6750\u6599\u5c06\u7528\u4e8e\u4ed6\u4eec\u6b63\u5728\u8fdb\u884c\u7684\u4f4d\u4e8e\u7ef4\u591a\u5229\u4e9a\u5dde\u5965\u7279\u5a01\u7802\u5ca9\u91c7\u77f3\u573a\u7684\u4fee\u590d\u666f\u89c2\u9879\u76eeThe Quarry\u3002\u6765\u81eaAgency of Sculpture\u7684\u672c\u00b7\u5409\u5c14\u4f2f\u7279\uff08Ben Gilbert\uff09\u5c06\u5728\u63a5\u4e0b\u6765\u4e0e\u5f31\u52bf\u9752\u5e74\u5408\u4f5c\u7684\u57ce\u9547\u533a\u57df\u96d5\u5851\u9879\u76ee\u4e2d\u56de\u6536\u5229\u7528\u8be5\u88c5\u7f6e\u7684\u6750\u6599\u3002<\/p>\n

The materials that have been selected for\u00a0pond[er]\u00a0are all ethically sourced and manufactured, to be distributed and used again by various Landcare,\u00a0indigenous, and community groups.\u00a0These materials have also been chosen as they are ecologically responsible, recyclable and used within our local landscape. Our intention is that no materials within\u00a0pond[er]\u00a0will end in land fill.\u00a0We have been working specifically with the Willum Warrain Aboriginal Association, Victoria, who will utilise some of the materials from\u00a0pond[er]\u00a0in an upcoming landscape project; These Are The Projects We Do Together,\u00a0a Melbourne based interdisciplinary design studio that focuses on education and experimentation across their projects and sites. Materials from\u00a0pond[er]\u00a0will be taken to their ongoing project, The Quarry, a rehabilitation landscape project set in a sandstone quarry in The Otways, Victoria; Ben Gilbert from Agency of Sculpture, who will utilise materials from\u00a0pond[er]\u00a0in an upcoming regional and civic sculptural project, collaborating with disadvantaged youth.<\/p>\n
