Casagrande Laboratory<\/strong><\/a>: \u00a0<\/span>As the island of Taiwan passed through the hands of Chinese, Japanese and Western influences, its capital city Taipei evolved a distinct hybrid urbanism, marked by a square grid plan of vast uniform blocks containing a chaotic mixture of Eastern and Western architectures. Much of the city is dressed in concrete, and the tension of an organic city bursting out of its rigid plan is almost palpable.<\/p>\n

\u56de\u5e94\u5927\u81ea\u7136\u73af\u5883\uff0c\u82ac\u5170\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u9a6c\u53ef\uff0e\u5361\u8428\u683c\u5170(Marco Casagrade)\u5efa\u9020\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u8327\u72b6\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5e76\u76f4\u9a71\u5de5\u4e1a\u53f0\u5317\u7684\u5fc3\u810f\u5730\u5e26\u3002Cicada \u662f\u4e2a\u7af9\u72b6\u7ed3\u6784\uff0c\u98a0\u8986\u4e86\u53f0\u5317\u59d4\u9761\u4e0d\u632f\u89c6\u89c9\u666f\u89c2\u3002\u884c\u6709\u673a\u5f62\u4f53\u4e3a\u89c4\uff0c\u4ee5\u4eba\u7684\u5c3a\u5ea6\u4e3a\u53f0\u5317\u57ce\u65bd\u884c\u201c\u90fd\u5e02\u9488\u7078\u672f\u201d\u3002\u5361\u8428\u683c\u5170\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684 Cicada \u6709\u7740\u5e7c\u866b\u6a21\u6837\uff0c\u5468\u8fb9\u7eb5\u6a2a\u4ea4\u9519\u8f66\u6c34\u9a6c\u9f99\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u9053\u8def\u548c\u9ad8\u67b6\u6865\u8f66\u9053\uff0c\u5728\u7247\u4e0d\u5bfb\u5e38\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u7eff\u6d32\u4e4b\u4e2d\uff0c\u866b\u578b\u7ed3\u6784\u7269\u5efa\u7b51\u5728\u767d\u5375\u77f3\u4e4b\u4e0a\u3002\u63a5\u8fd1\u8fd9\u4e00\u7af9\u7f16\u9aa8\u67b6\uff0c\u89c2\u4f17\u5c06\u770b\u5230\u773c\u524d\u5982\u5e7b\u68a6\u822c\u5916\u5f62\u7684\u7a3b\u58f3\uff0c\u85e4\u8513\u4f9d\u9644\u4e1b\u751f\uff0c\u786e\u72b9\u5982\u8eab\u5904\u6d41\u79bb\u5931\u6240\u7684\u6709\u673a\u5e9f\u589f\u3002<\/p>\n

Responding to this environment, Marco Casagrande has constructed a cocoon-like spatial intervention in the heart of industrial Taipei. \u2018Cicada\u2019 is a bamboo structure that subverts the concrete malaise of Taipei, functioning as \u201curban acupuncture\u201d for the city by introducing a wholly organicform built on a decidedly human scale. In an unusual green oasis amidst Taipei\u2019s crisscrossing roads and elevated train tracks, the larval form of Casagrande\u2019s shelter rests within an oval footprint of rocks and concrete. Approaching this skeleton of woven bamboo, visitors see a fantastic husk overgrown with clinging vines, appearing before them like a displaced organic ruin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
