\u53d7\u624e\u514b\u4f2f\u683c\u7efc\u5408\u533b\u9662\u548c\u521b\u4f24\u4e2d\u5fc3\u65e7\u91d1\u5c71\u827a\u672f\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u7684\u59d4\u6258\uff0c\u4f4d\u4e8e\u65e7\u91d1\u5c71\u7684\u7a7a\u7075\u4f53\u521b\u9020\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u52a8\u6001\u7684\u67a2\u7ebd\u70b9\uff0c\u6fc0\u6d3b\u4e86\u533b\u9662\u7684\u5357\u5165\u53e3\uff0c\u5e76\u8c03\u89e3\u8fdb\u51fa\u5165\u53e3\u533a\u57df\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u30022015\u5e7412\u6708\uff0c\u300a\u7ebd\u7ea6\u65f6\u62a5\u300b\u4e0a\u520a\u767b\u4e86\u4e00\u7bc7\u5173\u4e8e\u201c\u9648-\u624e\u514b\u4f2f\u683c\u6148\u5584\u6350\u8d60\u8ba1\u5212\u201d\u7684\u6587\u7ae0\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u96d5\u5851\u96c6\u5408\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff0c\u767d\u5929\u6536\u96c6\u9633\u5149\uff0c\u665a\u4e0a\u7528\u53ef\u7f16\u7a0b\u7684LED\u706f\u7167\u4eae\u96d5\u5851\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u96d5\u5851\u7684\u4eba\u683c\u5316\u54c1\u8d28\u5f97\u5230\u4e86\u5176\u8f7b\u76c8\u548c\u5f00\u653e\u7ed3\u6784\u7684\u8d5e\u626c\u3002\u867d\u7136\u5f62\u4f53\u7684\u8f6e\u5ed3\u5728\u62df\u4eba\u5316\u7684\u7279\u5f81\u4e0a\u662f\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5f62\u4f53\u7684\u900f\u660e\u5ea6\u5141\u8bb8\u5b83\u4eec\u6839\u636e\u89c2\u4f17\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\u8fdb\u884c\u5206\u79bb\u548c\u91cd\u7ec4\u3002\u4ee5\u533b\u9662\u5165\u53e3\u9644\u8fd1\u7684\u5706\u5f62\u4e3a\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff0c\u5f53\u4ece\u73af\u7ed5\u5165\u53e3\u8f66\u9053\u7684\u8f66\u8f86\u4e0a\u89c2\u770b\u65f6\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e9b\u96d5\u5851\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e00\u79cd\u7535\u5f71\u7684\u611f\u89c9\u3002\u7a7a\u7075\u7684\u8eab\u4f53\u662f\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u4ece\u6709\u77e5\u89c9\u7684\u751f\u7269\u5f00\u59cb\u7684\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u96d5\u5851\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002<\/p>\n

Commissioned by the San Francisco Arts Commission for the Zuckerberg General Hospital and Trauma Center, in San Francisco Ethereal Bodies 8 creates a dynamic pivot point, activating the south entrance of the hospital and mediating arrivals and departures from the entry area. Ethereal Bodies 8 was featured in The New York Times in December 2015 discussing the Chan\/Zuckerberg initiative focused on charitable giving. The ensemble of sculptures gathers sunlight by day and interacts prismatically with the programmable LED lights that illuminate the sculptures by night. The sculptures\u2019 anthropomorphic quality is complimented by their lightness and open structure. Although the silhouettes of the forms are distinct in their anthropomorphic character, the transparency of the forms allows them to separate and recombine depending upon the viewer\u2019s position. Centered on a round about at the Hospital entry, the forms offer a cinematic quality when viewed from a vehicle circling the entry drive where the sculpture is positioned on a contoured earthwork planted with grasses. Ethereal Bodies 8 is part of a series of sculptures the artist began with Sentient Beings, in North Hollywood, CA. in 2008.<\/p>\n
