It is the emblem or symbol of the Government of Chandigarh, symbolizing ‘the hand to give and the hand to take; peace and prosperity, and the unity of mankind’.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u4f5c\u4e3a\u52d2\u00b7\u67ef\u5e03\u897f\u8036\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u4f17\u591a”\u5f20\u5f00\u7684\u624b”\u96d5\u5851\u7cfb\u5217\u4e2d\u6700\u5927\u7684\u4e00\u5ea7\uff0c\u5b83\u9ad8\u8fbe26\u7c73(85\u82f1\u5c3a)\uff0c\u5e76\u53ef\u4ee5\u968f\u98ce\u65cb\u8f6c\u3002<\/p>\n Being the largest example of Le Corbusier’s many Open Hand sculptures, it stands 26 metres (85 ft) high and rotates in the wind.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u5f53\u73b0\u4ee3\u4e3b\u4e49\u5148\u9a71\u52d2\u00b7\u67ef\u5e03\u897f\u8036\u4e3a\u5370\u5ea6\u660c\u8fea\u52a0\u5c14\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u65f6\uff0c”\u5f20\u5f00\u7684\u624b”\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u516c\u5171\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u79c1\u4eba\u5316\u7684\u8c61\u5f81\u3002\u5f53\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u540c\u4e8b\u517c\u8868\u5f1f\u76ae\u57c3\u5c14\u00b7\u8ba9\u7eb3\u96f7\uff08Pierre Jeanneret\uff09\u5728\u660c\u8fea\u52a0\u5c14\u5e02\u62c5\u4efb\u9996\u5e2d\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08\u548c\u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u987e\u95ee\uff0c\u8d1f\u8d23\u76d1\u7763\u660c\u8fea\u52a0\u5c14\u5e02\u7684\u5efa\u8bbe\u3002<\/p>\n The Open Hand became a public project rather than a private symbol when Le Corbusier planned it for the city of Chandigarh, where his associate and cousin Pierre Jeanneret was then working as chief architect and town planning advisor, supervising the construction of Chandigarh.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u52d2\u00b7\u67ef\u5e03\u897f\u8036\u8bbe\u60f3\u4ee5\u559c\u9a6c\u62c9\u96c5\u5c71\u8109\u4e3a\u80cc\u666f\u5efa\u9020\u8fd9\u5ea7”\u5f20\u5f00\u7684\u624b”\uff0c\u4ed6\u5c06\u81ea\u5df1\u6240\u9009\u7684\u5730\u70b9\u79f0\u4e3a\u201c\u6c89\u601d\u4e4b\u7a74\u201d\u3002<\/p>\n Le Corbusier planned to erect the Open Hand against the scenic background of the Himalayas.
