enrico sassi architetto<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aGandria, a neighbourhood of the municipality of Lugano, is an ancient settlement of fishermen and farmers on the shore of Lake Ceresio, at the foot of Monte Br\u00e8. It is such a characteristic and picturesque location that it deserved a place in the ISOS (Inventory of Protected Swiss Settlements) list. Today Gandria is an important tourist attraction thanks to its particular geographical situation and to the quality of its spaces.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u5782\u76f4\u82b1\u56ed\u201d\u9879\u76ee\u4f4d\u4e8e\u521a\u5fb7\u91cc\u4e9a\u505c\u8f66\u573a\u7684\u4e0b\u65b9\uff0c\u662f\u4e0e\u73af\u5883\u54a8\u8be2\u548c\u5de5\u7a0b\u516c\u53f8Oikos\u5408\u4f5c\u5f00\u53d1\u7684\u6a44\u6984\u6811\u6b65\u9053\u603b\u4f53\u89c4\u5212\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002\u603b\u4f53\u89c4\u5212\u5305\u62ec\u79cd\u690d\u66f4\u591a\u6a44\u6984\u6811\uff0c\u5e76\u5e03\u7f6e\u7a7f\u8fc7\u6751\u5e84\u7684\u6b65\u884c\u9053\u4ee5\u8fde\u63a5\u51e0\u4e2a\u79cd\u690d\u6a44\u6984\u6811\u7684\u53f0\u5730\u533a\u57df\u3002<\/p>\n

Since ancient times, the landscape of Gandria is characterized by cultivated terraces supported by dry stone walls. Numerous sources testify that the cultivation of olives in Gandria was already well established in the 14th century. Gandria was connected to the international road (built in 1936) only in 1951. Currently, the village has a car park that was built in the seventies next to the cantonal road connecting Lugano and Porlezza, Italy. Between the parking area and the lake there is a drop of 54 meters. The car park and the stairway that leads down to the lake give access to the olive path.<\/p>\n

The \u201cJardin Vertical\u201d project, which is located underneath the Gandria\u2019s parking lot, is part of the riqualification masterplan of the olive path developed in collaboration with the environmental consulting and engineering firm Oikos. The masterplan involves the enhancement of the numerous olive trees and the arrangement of the pedestrian path that crosses the village, connecting several terraced areas cultivated with olive trees.<\/p>\n
