Taller Capital<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aXicot\u00e9ncatl\u516c\u56ed\u5efa\u5728\u8482\u534e\u7eb3\u90ca\u533a\u4e00\u5904\u66fe\u5806\u6ee1\u5e9f\u589f\u7684\u5ce1\u8c37\u4e0a\u3002\u8fd9\u4e00\u975e\u6b63\u5f0f\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u5316\u5730\u533a\u4ee5\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\u4e3a\u7279\u8272\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u666e\u904d\u91c7\u7528\u6ce2\u7eb9\u91d1\u5c5e\u677f\u6216\u975e\u5e38\u7b80\u5355\u7684\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u677f\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5c4b\u9876\uff0c\u77d7\u7acb\u5728\u9661\u5ced\u7684\u659c\u5761\u4e0a\u3002<\/p>\n

Taller Capital<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aParque Xicot\u00e9ncatl was built over a former debris-filled ravine, located in the outskirts of Tijuana. This informally urbanized area is characterized by cardboard and cinder block constructions, usually roofed with corrugated metal sheet or very simple concrete slabs, standing over steep slopes.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u539f\u672c\u662f\u4e3a\u4e86\u89e3\u51b3\u4eba\u884c\u9053\u7684\u5efa\u8bbe\u548c\u6e05\u7406\u6c9f\u58d1\uff0c\u4ee5\u5f15\u5bfc\u6c34\u7684\u6d41\u5411\u3002\u4f46\u5728\u8bbe\u8ba1\u56e2\u961f\u53c2\u89c2\u548c\u4e86\u89e3\u5f53\u5730\u793e\u533a\u5bf9\u516c\u5171\u548c\u5a31\u4e50\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u8feb\u5207\u9700\u6c42\u540e\uff0c\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u76ee\u6807\u8303\u56f4\u53d1\u751f\u4e86\u53d8\u5316\u3002<\/p>\n

This project was originally meant to address the construction of sidewalks and the cleaning of the ravine to guide a water runoff. After visiting and understanding the community\u2019s pressing need for public and recreational spaces, the scope changed.<\/p>\n

\u901a\u8fc7\u4f7f\u7528\u4e00\u79cd\u6d41\u884c\u7684\u4e61\u571f\u5efa\u7b51\u7cfb\u7edf\u6765\u5efa\u9020llantimuro\u6216\u8f6e\u80ce\u5899\uff0c\u9879\u76ee\u5229\u7528\u573a\u5730\u73b0\u6709\u7684\u788e\u77f3\u548c\u6bcf\u5e74\u4ece\u7f8e\u56fd\u8fdb\u53e3\u5230\u58a8\u897f\u54e5\u7684\u6570\u767e\u4e07\u4e2a\u5e9f\u65e7\u8f6e\u80ce\uff0c\u5efa\u9020\u4e86\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u7531\u8f6e\u80ce\u5899\u652f\u6491\u7684\u6ce5\u571f\u548c\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u5e73\u53f0\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e9b\u8f6e\u80ce\u539f\u672c\u65e0\u7528\u5730\u5806\u79ef\u5728\u8482\u534e\u7eb3\u7b49\u8fb9\u5883\u57ce\u5e02\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u88ab\u5f97\u5230\u4e86\u5145\u5206\u5229\u7528\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5e73\u53f0\u73b0\u5728\u4e5f\u6210\u4e3a\u8fde\u63a5\u5ce1\u8c37\u4e24\u4fa7\u5c45\u6c11\u7684\u516c\u5171\u548c\u5a31\u4e50\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002<\/p>\n

Through the use of a popular and vernacular construction system to build contention walls called llantimuro or tire-wall, this project takes advantage of the existing on-site debris and the millions of used tires that are yearly imported from the USA to Mexico, uselessly piled in border cities such as Tijuana, to build a series of earth and concrete platforms, held by tire-wall contention walls. These now serve as public and recreational spaces that also connect people living at both sides of the ravine.<\/p>\n
