GTD<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aWild Life Coffee Ningbo shop came earlier than expected. With BC (Bushcraft) culture as the core, Wild Life Coffee Hangzhou shop has quickly gained popularity in the coffee industry and the outdoor world since its opening in September 2020. At that time, an interesting saying was born — I am not in Wild Life, or I\u2019m on the way to Wild Life.<\/p>\n

In April 2021, Mr. Wang Fei, the owner of Wild Life, met Ms.Qiao, the owner of DEMOHOOD, a youth creative community in Ningbo. DEMOHOOD is an urban renewal project, transformed from the old towelling factory. Although there was no expansion plan at the time, but in the scene to see this piece of excellent conditions of shop space, coupled with Ms. Qiao\u2019s sincere and warm invitation, Mr. Wang Fei went to the field for three consecutive times in the next three months. Standing in every corner of the site to get a sense of what the store will be like.<\/p>\n

The first time when Ms. Qiao walked into Wild Life in Hangzhou, she was deeply moved by countless details, even under the seats where almost no one would pay attention to, were also carefully decorated with rough stones, with natural growth of ferns, in the hidden spray system under the smoke, thereby reflecting the boss with high requirements for details.<\/p>\n

At that time, DEMOHOOD Ningbo Youth Creative Community, which is headed by Ms. Qiao, was inviting brands and people to join in, hoping to gather a group of interesting people to bring a better lifestyle to Ningbo. “Pick up work, do not put down life” is the value of DEMOHOOD, which is quite consistent with the concept of Wild Life. That\u2019s why Ms. Qiao tried her best to invite and finally succeeded in introducing Wild Life to Ningbo.<\/p>\n

The first time be invited to DEMOHOOD Ningbo to survey the shop reserved for Wild Life. It locates perfectly along the street, with a very large spread surface and independent front yard, back yard and terrace. The three big trees growing wantonly in the courtyard are cypress and camphor, and the dense branches and leaves extend to the second floor from the first floor, the environment is very perfect.<\/p>\n

Our Wild and Life is a story about dreams, which expresses our own love and yearning for the outdoors, and also we hope to bring the beautiful experience of “sitting in the mountains and drinking coffee” to Ningbo city — under the breeze, in the sunshine, as far as the eye can see, where the heart wants, where the body wants, everywhere is in the mountains and fields. In this special epidemic era, we also hope that everyone can put down their burden, get close to nature and return to their original aspiration.<\/p>\n

The original building of Wild life is a piece of concrete frame structure, with a total of 740 square meters including the outdoor area, which is 4 or 5 times the area of Wild Life in Hangzhou. It is too large if there\u2019s only coffee making. How to rationally use each space to ensure comfort, tonality and taste, while matching it with appropriate products and business models, so as to generate effective commercial returns, Wild Life and GTD had spent a lot of energy to discuss at the beginning of design.<\/p>\n

In order to maximize the efficiency of customers entering, the entrance of the store is placed in the middle of the building, and the stairs to the second floor are rearranged accordingly. While the staircase becomes the center of the whole facade, the space is naturally divided into four areas: left, right, upper and lower, so as to carry out targeted design for different areas according to different operation contents.<\/p>\n

The “Road of Wild” has always been the soul of Wild Life Cafe, and from the moment you arrive, you are on a trail unlike any other. Every stone slab, every seedling, every moss comes from the carefully selected, leading you forward exploration. Pushing the door handle of the iconic axe, the road continues inward, ending in a large block of rough stone carved with the words “Wild Life Cafe.”<\/p>\n

Wild Life Ningbo has an indoor area of 320 square meters, and an outdoor area up to 420 square meters, which is really valuable in the city shops. Thanks to this advantaged space condition, the design process is reserved as far as possible for the “open”. The south and north facades are all glazed doors and windows. When the weather is suitable, the doors and windows are all pushed open, bringing the outdoor space into the interior, integrating with nature and enjoying free breathing.<\/p>\n

The Ningbo store has a large space, and the products are positioned as coffee drinks, bistros and simple meals. There is a kitchen and double bars. The main bar produces coffee and drinks, which is adjacent to the kitchen and located on the right hand side of the shop. Guests will see it when they look up after entering the shop along the road of wild, which is convenient for arriving and ordering, as well as for the operation and running of the staff. The second bar mainly produces alcoholic drinks and is located on the left side of the store. Guests from each section can sit down and cross the floor freely. Daytime guests can order a cup of coffee or afternoon tea; Evening guests can enjoy a cocktail, craft beer or whiskey and have a tipsy chat.<\/p>\n
