In consideration of the height difference and the length, the entrance space can not be designed in traditional way. So, how to integrate landscape with building and interior space, and how to balance the \u201chidden\u201d and \u201cbright\u201d zones are the biggest challenges for the entrance design.<\/p>\n

The final integrated design is the result of repeated deduction and multidisciplinary cooperation. The semi-enclosed front courtyard not only fully displays the building’s translucent facade, but also creates a ceremonial atmosphere; the hotel-style drop-off area highlights the sense of dignity; the Italian stone wall and the stainless steel ceiling skillfully integrate the architecture with landscape perfectly, presenting a unique asymmetric beauty.<\/p>\n

Across the road is the lakefront park, where the original vegetation is well preserved and optimized to serve as the \u201cgreen way\u201d of the city and the \u201cbackyard garden\u201d for the Park Lane Mansion.<\/p>\n

Dense as the plants were in the lakefront area, they were unordered. Therefore, we took advantages of the existing resources, trying to renovate the park with limited cost. Landscapes are created according to the landform, plants are rearranged, and more functions such as the waterfront path, playground and lawn are added to make the area full of vigor and vitality.<\/p>\n
