CLOU Architects <\/strong><\/a>: CLOU architects was commissioned by Vanke to design the fourth floor atrium of the newly opened Future City Mall in Qingdao. Located in Qingdao’s northern district, Vanke Future City is a brand-new shopping and leisure destination devoted to the mingling of aesthetics, creativity and social experiences, hoping to bring a fresh vitality to Qingdao\u2019s old town and its surroundings.<\/p>\n

\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u4efb\u52a1\u662f\u5728\u5546\u573a\u56db\u5c42\u4e2d\u5ead\u8425\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u521b\u65b0\u7f8e\u5b66\u548c\u793e\u4ea4\u4f53\u9a8c\u4e3a\u4e3b\u9898\u7684\u5168\u65b0\u5546\u4e1a\u548c\u4f11\u95f2\u76ee\u7684\u5730\uff0c\u5c06\u5ba2\u4eba\u5438\u5f15\u5230\u5546\u573a\u9ad8\u533a\uff0c\u5e76\u4e3a\u5468\u8fb9\u7684\u96f6\u552e\u9910\u996e\u63d0\u4f9b\u5b9c\u4eba\u8212\u9002\u7684\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u7531\u6b64\uff0c\u6c89\u6d78\u5f0f\u4e1b\u6797\u82b1\u56ed\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u5e94\u8fd0\u800c\u751f\u3002<\/p>\n

The crux of the design challenge was to create an iconic social space, tempting customers to the upper levels of the mall, and energizing its retail and dining areas. This led to the concept of an immersive jungle garden.<\/p>\n

CLOU \u60f3\u8981\u5c0a\u91cd\u5f53\u4e0b\u65b0\u4e00\u4ee3\u7684\u6d88\u8d39\u5ba2\u7fa4\u65e5\u76ca\u589e\u957f\u7684\u5bf9\u6237\u5916\u3001\u81ea\u7136\u751f\u673a\u3001\u5065\u5eb7\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u5411\u5f80\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5bf9\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u4eb2\u5bc6\u611f\u3001\u4f53\u9a8c\u3001\u53ca\u54c1\u8d28\u7684\u9700\u6c42\u3002\u53d7\u542f\u53d1\u4e8e\u6cd5\u56fd\u201c\u539f\u59cb\u6d3e\u201d\u753b\u5bb6\u4ea8\u5229\u00b7\u5362\u68ad\u7684\u4e1b\u6797\u753b\u4f5c\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u60f3\u8981\u878d\u5408\u81ea\u7136\u3001\u793e\u4ea4\u3001\u827a\u672f\u7b49\u5143\u7d20\uff0c\u6253\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u6781\u5177\u6c89\u6d78\u611f\u3001\u5982\u540c\u5728\u4e1b\u6797\u82b1\u56ed\u4e2d\u6e38\u901b\u7684\u72ec\u7279\u4f53\u9a8c\u3002<\/p>\n

The consumers of today value comfort and intimacy in commercial and public spaces and cherish nature, outdoors, wellness and social interaction above all. Responding to this, we decided to integrate nature and art into an immersive space, taking inspiration from the paintings of Henri Rousseau. We created a vibrant, experientially unique jungle garden.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u4e2d\u5fc3\u533a\u57df\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5f15\u5165\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e24\u5c42\u9ad8\u7684\u7ea2\u8272\u7acb\u65b9\u4f5c\u4e3a\u6574\u4e2a\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u7126\u70b9\uff0c\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e2d\u5ead\u7684\u5782\u76f4\u4ea4\u901a\uff0c\u5468\u56f4\u88ab\u7eff\u690d\u548c\u6c34\u666f\u73af\u7ed5\u3002\u8ba9\u4eba\u8054\u60f3\u5230\u5362\u68ad\u753b\u4f5c\u91cc\u7684\u5947\u5e7b\u573a\u666f\uff1a\u9c9c\u8273\u7684\u8272\u5f69\u548c\u660e\u6697\u5bf9\u6bd4\uff0c\u539f\u59cb\u7387\u771f\u7684\u624b\u6cd5\uff0c\u8425\u9020\u795e\u79d8\u3001\u5145\u6ee1\u60f3\u8c61\u529b\u7684\u8d85\u73b0\u5b9e\u4e3b\u4e49\u6c1b\u56f4\u3002<\/p>\n

In the atrium\u2019s central space, we chose a two-storey red cube structure as the focal point, surrounded by a jungle of plants and water. Reminiscent of the primitive and mysterious scenes in Rousseau\u2019s paintings: the vibrant colours, light and shade, invokes an imaginative and dreamlike atmosphere.<\/p>\n

We chose bright red as our main colour to create a striking visual impression, which will quickly grab people\u2019s attention, like the flowers and animals that populate Rosseau\u2019s mysterious paintings, we created a dazzling contrast between the colourful subject and detailed background, and a pleasing sense of illusion.<\/p>\n

A circular bridge on the first floor connects the central cube to its surrounding areas with varying staircases. Tropical greenery, seating, water features, and staircases create human-scale details, enhancing the walking experience and enticing customers to linger and explore. This alluring, outdoor feeling provides its visitors a place where their imagination can roam freely.<\/p>\n
