Rather than waiting for official events, the project maximizes potential with a design that provides an experience around the clock.<\/p>\n The goal is to provide not just a destination, but an experience for the morning jogger, the sunday walker, the afternoon stroller, as well as anyone who is actually there for a show. It is an amphitheater, yet it is first a pavilion in the park, an architectural structure, a tree house and a public artwork, ready to be engaged and activated at any given moment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u6bcf\u4e2a\u62f1\u5f62\u529f\u80fd<\/p>\n \u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u8bbe\u8ba1\u673a\u4f1a\u662f\u5728\u6ee1\u8db3\u5267\u9662\u7c7b\u578b\u6240\u8981\u6c42\u7684\u6807\u51c6\u76d2\u5b50\u5c3a\u5bf8\u7684\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u521b\u9020\u4e00\u79cd\u8c61\u5f81\u6027\u548c\u4f53\u9a8c\u6027\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3002\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u7ea7\u8054\u62f1\u95e8\u6240\u5f00\u53d1\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e9b\u62f1\u95e8\u4e0d\u4ec5\u5728\u5c3a\u5bf8\u548c\u529f\u80fd\u4e0a\u6709\u6240\u4e0d\u540c\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u8fd8\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u7ed3\u6784\u7cfb\u7edf\u3002<\/p>\n Every Arch A Function<\/p>\n What emerged as the major design opportunity of the project was to create an emblematic and experiential design while satisfying the standard box dimensions required by a theater typology. Immediately adjacent to the main stage is Stage Beta, a venue for smaller and more community-based events, and which still provides a platform, equipment\/lighting rigs, and seating area, yet is more appropriate for less of a crowd. In particular, The Chrysalis further develops principles explored in its \u201clittle brother\u201d precedent, Pleated Inflation, completed by the studio in Argeles, France in 2015.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chrysalis\u540c\u6837\u662f\u901a\u8fc7\u5c06\u6570\u5b57\u7f51\u683c\u7ed8\u5236\u6210\u5e73\u9762\u7684\u8fc7\u7a0b\u751f\u6210\u7684\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u5176\u6240\u6709\u533a\u6bb5\u88ab\u8f6c\u6362\u4e3a\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u5dee\u5f02\u5316\u7684\u5f39\u7c27\u7cfb\u7edf\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u81a8\u80c0\u3002\u8936\u76b1\u7684\u7ea6\u675f\u88ab\u6dfb\u52a0\u5230\u81a8\u80c0\u534f\u8bae\u4e2d\u4ee5\u63d0\u4f9b\u989d\u5916\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\u6df1\u5ea6\u3002<\/p>\n The Chrysalis is similarly generated from a process in which a digital mesh is drawn flat, and all of its segments are transformed into a series of differentiated spring systems, then inflated.
