\u201cI always think about when I was young and the things I had interaction with, whether it was skateboard graphics or magazines, and how art reached me. I\u2019ve been conscious of how my work disseminates and reaches people. It could be a canvas in a museum\u22efor it could be a court, a wall or a t-shirt,\u201d says Kaws. \u201c I like the idea of public art because it reaches people in a casual way, and when they aren\u2019t necessarily looking for it.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u7ebd\u7ea6\u5236\u9020: Kaws\u7684\u65af\u5766\u987f\u8857\u7403\u573a\u5305\u62ec\u4e24\u4e2a\u5e76\u5217\u7684\u5168\u573a\u7bee\u7403\u573a(\u5927\u7ea6116\u4e5880\u82f1\u5c3a)\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u56db\u4e2a\u7bee\u7403\u573a\u3002<\/p>\n The New York Made: Stanton Street Courts by Kaws encompass two side-by-side full basketball courts (approximately 116 by 80 feet), as well as four hoops.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201c\u6211\u5bf9\u7403\u573a\u7684\u6001\u5ea6\u4e0e\u6211\u5728\u753b\u5e03\u4e0a\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c\u975e\u5e38\u76f8\u4f3c\u3002\u6211\u60f3\u521b\u9020\u4e00\u4e9b\u4e0e\u6211\u7684\u8bed\u8a00\u4e00\u81f4\u7684\u4e1c\u897f\uff0c\u4f46\u4e5f\u8981\u8003\u8651\u5230\u8fd9\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u4eec\u6b63\u5728\u73a9\u4f7f\u7528\u7684\u7403\u573a\uff0c\u201c\u4ed6\u89e3\u91ca\u9053\u3002\u201c\u6211\u60f3\u5728\u89c6\u89c9\u548c\u529f\u80fd\u4e0a\u627e\u5230\u5b83\u7684\u6700\u4f73\u4f4d\u7f6e – \u5b83\u662f\u5982\u4f55\u901a\u8fc7\u6e38\u620f\u7684\u7ebf\u6761\u5206\u89e3\u5e76\u4e0e\u6211\u7684\u56fe\u50cf\u4e00\u8d77\u5de5\u4f5c\u7684\u3002\u5b83\u5c06\u5bf9\u4f7f\u7528\u7403\u573a\u7684\u7403\u5458\u4ea7\u751f\u5bc6\u5207\u5f71\u54cd\u3002\u201c<\/p>\n \u201cMy approach to the courts was very similar to how I would work on canvas. I wanted to create something that was true to my language, but also considerate of this being a court that people are playing on,\u201d he explains. \u201cI wanted to find the sweet spot where it works visually and functionally \u2014 how its broken up by the game\u2019s lines and works with my images. It will have an intimate effect on the players that use the court.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Kaws\u4e8e1996\u5e74\u9996\u6b21\u642c\u5230\u66fc\u54c8\u987f\uff0c\u4f4f\u5728\u514b\u6797\u987f\u548c\u65af\u5766\u987f\u8857\u7684\u62d0\u89d2\u5904\u3002\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u4ed6\u5bf9\u516c\u56ed\u53ca\u5176\u793e\u533a\u7684\u719f\u6089\u7a0b\u5ea6\u975e\u5e38\u4e2a\u4eba\u5316\u3002\u201c\u6211\u4eec\u753b\u7684\u90a3\u4e2a\u7403\u573a\uff0c\u6211\u539f\u6765\u7ecf\u5e38\u6bcf\u5929\u8fc7\u53bb\uff0c\u201d\u4ed6\u56de\u5fc6\u9053\u3002\u201c\u6211\u5728Soho\u533a\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u8d70\u4e86……\u5f53\u6211\u6ca1\u6709\u53bb\u4f11\u65af\u6566\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u6211\u4f1a\u7a7f\u8fc7\u90a3\u4e2a\u516c\u56ed\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n Kaws first moved to Manhattan in 1996, and lived on the corner of Clinton and Stanton Street. His familiarity with the park and its neighborhood is thus extremely personal. \u201c\u201cThe courts that we painted, I used to pass everyday,\u201d he remembers. \u201cI worked over in Soho, so I\u2019d walk through\u22efwhen I wasn\u2019t taking Houston, I\u2019d go through that park.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/a>
