\u6c34\u5cb8\u666f\u89c2\u8981\u63d0\u5347\uff0c\u6cb3\u9053\u517b\u62a4\u9700\u52a0\u5f3a Waterfront landscape needs to be improved, river maintenance needs to be strengthened<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located in the old town of Tonghua County, Jilin Province, Wulacaogou River was named for the Wula grass growing in the river. It is an urban flood discharge waterway flowing through the county seat. Due to years of disrepair, there lacks greening on both sides of the river, and sedimentation is serious in the river channel. The main water source is the snow and ice melt water and the mountain catchment in the Changbai Mountain veins. The normal water level is less than 10cm in depth, which is easy to dry up in autumn, but is about 3 meters deep during the flood. The difference in water level is very large, and the ecosystem is very unstable.<\/p>\n

\u73b0\u72b6\u6cb3\u9053\u4e3a\u786c\u8d28\u9a73\u5cb8\uff0c\u6cb3\u9053\u4e0a\u65b9\u5b58\u5728\u591a\u6761\u5916\u9732\u7ba1\u7ebf\uff0c\u5f71\u54cd\u57ce\u5e02\u666f\u89c2\u6548\u679c\u3002\u6cb3\u9053\u4e24\u4fa7\u5c45\u6c11\u533a\u3001\u5546\u4e1a\u3001\u5b66\u6821\u6210\u4e09\u6bb5\u5f0f\u5206\u5e03\uff0c\u7531\u4e24\u6761\u5e02\u653f\u9053\u8def\u5206\u9694\uff0c\u4f7f\u5f97\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u5272\u88c2\u611f\u975e\u5e38\u660e\u663e\u3002\u6cb3\u9053\u5468\u8fb9\u4ea4\u901a\u52a8\u7ebf\u4e0a\u5b58\u5728\u4eba\u8f66\u901a\u884c\u4ea4\u96c6\u8f83\u591a\uff0c\u5b89\u5168\u9690\u60a3\u5927\u7684\u98ce\u9669\u3002\u6cb3\u9053\u73b0\u72b6\u690d\u88ab\uff0c\u4e2d\u95f4\u6bb5\u7684\u65f1\u67f3\u957f\u52bf\u826f\u597d\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u4fdd\u7559\u5229\u7528\u3002\u4e4c\u62c9\u8349\u6c9f\u6cb3\u76ee\u524d\u4ee5\u529f\u80fd\u6027\u7684\u6cc4\u6d2a\u6cb3\u9053\u4e3a\u4e3b\uff0c\u672a\u53d1\u6325\u51fa\u57ce\u5e02\u6cb3\u9053\u7684\u666f\u89c2\u3001\u5a31\u4e50\u4e0e\u4f11\u95f2\u529f\u80fd\u3002<\/p>\n

The current river has hard revetments, and there are several exposed pipelines above the river, which affects the urban landscape effect. Residential areas, businesses and schools on both sides of the river are distributed in three sections, and separated by two municipal roads, resulting in an obvious sense of separation in the urban area. There are many intersections between people and vehicles on the traffic lines around the river, posing great safety risks. Regarding the current vegetation of the river, the dry willows in the middle section grow well and can be retained for use. The Wulacaogou River mainly serves as a functional spillway channel, which has not played the landscape, entertainment and leisure functions of an urban river.<\/p>\n

\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\u8bbe\u8ba1\u601d\u60f3\u662f\u8ba9\u6cb3\u9053\u91cd\u65b0\u56de\u5f52\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u4eab\u53d7\u6162\u884c\uff0c\u6162\u6cb3\uff0c\u6162\u65f6\u5149\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u6253\u7834\u539f\u6709\u6cc4\u6d2a\u6e20\u5272\u88c2\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u683c\u5c40\uff0c\u5c06\u6cb3\u9053\u7684\u6cc4\u6d2a\u4e0e\u57ce\u5e02\u6162\u884c\u4f53\u7cfb\u878d\u4e3a\u4e00\u4f53\u3002\u6b64\u6b21\u6539\u9020\u4e0d\u4ec5\u5145\u5206\u5229\u7528\u4e86\u957f\u767d\u5c71\u539f\u751f\u6001\u6301\u7eed\u4e0d\u65ad\u7684\u51b0\u96ea\u878d\u6c34\uff0c\u66f4\u662f\u5c71\u3001\u6c34\u3001\u57ce\u5e02\u548c\u4eba\u6709\u673a\u7684\u8854\u63a5\u8d77\u6765\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5145\u5206\u8003\u8651\u5468\u8fb9\u73b0\u72b6\u53ca\u4e1a\u6001\uff0c\u6253\u5f00\u6cb3\u9053\u7684\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u4e3a\u5e02\u6c11\u3001\u5b66\u751f\u63d0\u7a7a\u79d1\u666e\u6559\u80b2\u7684\u6587\u5316\u573a\u6240\uff0c\u6210\u4e3a\u5c55\u793a\u57ce\u5e02\u6d3b\u529b\u7684\u821e\u53f0\uff0c\u5c45\u6c11\u4eb2\u6c34\u3001\u620f\u6c34\u7684\u6d3b\u529b\u7eff\u5730\u3002<\/p>\n

The core design idea of the project is to bring the river back to life, letting the people to enjoy the slow traffic, slow river, and slow time. The design breaks the original pattern of the spillway separating the city, and integrates the river flood discharge function with the urban slow traffic system. The renovation not only makes full use of the continuous melting water of snow and ice in the original ecology of Changbai Mountain, but also organically connect the mountains, water, city and people. The design fully considers the surrounding status quo and business forms. While opening up the river channel, it provides a cultural place for popular science education for citizens and students, becoming a stage to show the vitality of the city, and a dynamic green space for residents to enjoy the water.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u6162\u6cb3\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e0a\u9996\u5148\u6253\u7834\u539f\u6709\u6cc4\u6d2a\u6e20\u5272\u88c2\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u683c\u5c40\uff0c\u5c066m\u7684\u6cb3\u9053\u65ad\u9762\u6269\u5bbd\u52306-18m\u5de6\u53f3\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u964d\u4f4e\u6c34\u7684\u6d41\u901f\uff0c\u4f7f\u5e02\u6c11\u66f4\u597d\u66f4\u5b89\u5168\u7684\u4e0e\u6c34\u4e92\u52a8\u3002\u5176\u6b21\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u6539\u53d8\u6cb3\u9053\u7684\u65ad\u9762\uff0c\u5c06\u539f\u6709\u76f4\u7acb\u9a73\u5cb8\u6539\u4e3a\u53f0\u9636\u5f0f\u4eb2\u6c34\u9a73\u5cb8\uff0c\u6cb3\u9053\u5185\u8bbe\u8ba1\u8fc7\u6c34\u6c40\u6b65\u548c\u6d8c\u6c34\u575d\uff0c\u5728\u786e\u4fdd\u884c\u6d2a\u529f\u80fd\u7684\u524d\u63d0\u4e0b\uff0c\u964d\u4f4e\u65e5\u5e38\u7684\u6c34\u6d41\u901f\u5ea6\u3002<\/p>\n

In the slow river part, the design first breaks the original pattern that the flood way divided the city, and widens the 6m river section to about 6-18m. By slowing the flow of water, it enables citizens to interact with the water better and safer. Secondly, by changing the section of the river, it turns the original vertical revetment into a stepped water-friendly revetment, and designs stepping stones on water surface and swell dams in the river to reduce the daily water flow speed on the premise of ensuring the flood discharge function.<\/p>\n

The water is mainly purified with Wula grass. The design turns the hard revetment into a soft one, and restores the ecological environment of the Wulacaogou River, and provide a waterfront environment for the public to enjoy and play. At the same time, it replants aquatic plants in the river, and lays volcanic rocks and pebbles at the bottom to increase the self-purification function of the river.<\/p>\n

In the greenway and connection part, the landscape and municipal majors launch joint studies to change the original pattern that the municipal lanes are distributed on both sides of the river, and put the vehicle lanes on one side of the river or make partial diversion, so as to separate people and vehicles, return the road space to the citizens, and increase the water-access experience, to slow people down. It strengthens the connection between the river and the surrounding buildings and shops, forms a complete environmental landscape interface, to build an accessible public landscape space with no security risks for the convenience of the people.<\/p>\n

The slow traffic system applies the pedestrian overpasses to link public greenways divided by municipal roads to ensure the integrity and safety of the slow traffic in the 2.4 km greenway system along the river that runs through the central axis. The riverway is designed to have two layers of slow traffic system. The waterfront road is used by the public to enjoy the water, which can be inundated during flood. The jogging track at the top of the embankment is connected to the trestle bridge for the daily traffic of the citizens.<\/p>\n

It really makes the river return to the life of citizens, enabling them to enjoy the slow time of Tonghua.<\/p>\n

Tonghua has a long cold period in winter, with obvious freeze-heaving reaction of the riverbank. In order to avoid the damage of the revetments, natural freeze-heave resistant materials are mainly selected. The foundation of the project is buried under the frozen soil layer, and the surface stones are installed by way of hanging and pasting to reduce the frost heaving reaction.<\/p>\n

The water source of the Wulacaogou River is mainly meltwater of snow and ice and the catchment of mountains, so the water level changes seasonally, often drying up in autumn and flooding in spring and summer. In the design, the flood dam and water crossing steps are arranged in the river course to increase the constant water level height and improve the river view, while the flood discharge capacity of the river course is elevated by using the revetment. On the human traffic line, the double-layer footpath system is designed to meet the needs of slow walking under the change of water level.<\/p>\n

After the renovation, the Wulacaogou River takes on a new look, which not only improves the appearance of the city, but also enhances the taste of exquisite urban construction. Deeply loved by residents, it greatly improves the comfort and happiness of citizens’ lives, and has once become a place for walking and playing with children and frequented by Internet celebrities. During important festivals, Tonghua County will also organize activities such as catching loach, releasing water lanterns, and launching outdoor movie screenings to enrich residents’ entertainment life and stimulate the vitality of surrounding businesses. The completion of the project not only improves the water purification function of the river itself, but also turns the river, which only had the function of flood drainage in the past, into a back garden of Tonghua citizens integrating the functions of recreation, natural ecology, science popularization and education.<\/p>\n
