Vector Plinth<\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u9879\u76ee\u6240\u5728\u5730\u8d39\u5c3c\u662f 1971 \u5e74\u5370\u5df4\u6218\u4e89\u6700\u4e3b\u8981\u7684\u6218\u533a\u4e4b\u4e00\u3002\u5373\u4f7f\u5728\u72ec\u7acb 52 \u5e74\u540e\u7684\u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u8d39\u5c3c\u4eba\u6c11\u56de\u5fc6\u8d77\u6218\u4e89\u4e2d\u7684\u4f24\u4ea1\u4ecd\u4e0d\u7981\u6f78\u7136\u6cea\u4e0b\u3002\u8d39\u5c3c\u653f\u5e9c\u5b66\u9662\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u5728\u540d\u4e3a\u201cGoalpost\u201d\u7684\u6821\u56ed\u5267\u4e2d\u5927\u80c6\u5730\u63cf\u7ed8\u4e86\u6218\u4e89\u7684\u6050\u6016\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u5411\u89c2\u4f17\u4f20\u8fbe\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u4fe1\u606f\uff0c\u5373 Muktibahini\uff08\u81ea\u7531\u6218\u58eb\uff09\u662f\u5982\u4f55\u88ab\u8feb\u5bb3\u81f4\u6b7b\u7684\uff1a\u4ed6\u4eec\u5728\u5b66\u9662\u7403\u573a\u7684\u95e8\u67f1\u4e0a\u88ab\u7ef3\u5b50\u6b8b\u5fcd\u540a\u6b7b\u3002<\/p>\n

\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u4ece\u201c\u95e8\u67f1\u201d\u7684\u6050\u6016\u5386\u53f2\u4e2d\u6c72\u53d6\u7075\u611f\uff0c\u6784\u601d\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u62bd\u8c61\u7684\u7eaa\u5ff5\u6027\u95e8\u67f1\u2014\u2014\u8c61\u5f81\u88ab\u540a\u6b7b\u7684\u70c8\u58eb\u4e8b\u4ef6\u3002\u8be5\u8bbe\u8ba1\u65e8\u5728\u5524\u8d77\u4eba\u4eec\u5bf9\u70c8\u58eb\u7684\u8bb0\u5fc6\uff0c\u8ba9\u5e74\u8f7b\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u4eec\u80fd\u591f\u4e86\u89e3\u5e76\u7406\u89e3 1971 \u5e74\u81ea\u7531\u6218\u58eb\u4eec\u6240\u505a\u51fa\u7684\u727a\u7272\u3002<\/p>\n

Vector Plinth<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aThe site of the project located in Feni was one of the most crucial war zones in 1971. Even after 52 years of independence, people of Feni weeps recalling the casualty of the war. Students of Feni Government College boldly portrayed the terrors of the war on a school-play called \u201cGoalpost\u201d. They conveyed a message to the audience about how the Muktibahini (Freedom-Fighters) were fatally persecuted and shot while hanged with cords on the goalpost of the college field.<\/p>\n

The architects of the project took inspiration from the horrific history of the \u201cgoalpost\u201d and initiated an idea of an abstract monumental goalpost \u2013 symbolizing the incident of the suspended martyrs. The notion was to revive the memory of the martyrs, so that young students can understand and appreciate the sacrifices that were made in 1971.<\/p>\n

\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u72b9\u5982\u4e00\u90e8\u53d9\u4e8b\u4ea4\u54cd\u4e50\uff0c\u523b\u610f\u901a\u8fc7\u201cL\u201d\u5f62\u5206\u533a\u7b56\u7565\u7cbe\u5fc3\u7f16\u6392\uff0c\u5b83\u7684\u5c55\u5f00\u5c31\u50cf\u7ffb\u5f00\u4e00\u672c\u5f15\u4eba\u5165\u80dc\u7684\u4e66\u7c4d\uff0c\u4e66\u4e2d\u5305\u542b\u56db\u4e2a\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u7bc7\u7ae0\u3002\u6bcf\u4e00\u7bc7\u90fd\u6709\u5176\u5b58\u5728\u7684\u76ee\u7684\uff0c\u4e3a\u603b\u4f53\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\u60c5\u8282\u53d1\u5c55\u505a\u8d21\u732e\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5e08\u7cbe\u5fc3\u6784\u601d\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5e73\u9762\u5e03\u5c40\uff0c\u8ba9\u6548\u7387\u4e0e\u51dd\u805a\u529b\u5e76\u5b58\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e2a\u201c\u7bc7\u7ae0\u201d\u90fd\u5b8c\u7f8e\u5730\u4ea4\u7ec7\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff0c\u5728\u5b8f\u4f1f\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4e2d\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u5e45\u548c\u8c10\u7684\u7ec7\u9526\uff0c\u4e32\u8054\u8d77\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u590d\u6742\u7684\u4e8b\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>\n

Each stage is a purposeful entity, contributing a unique essence to the overarching development narrative. Imagining a meticulous composition, where efficiency meets cohesion, and every phase seamlessly intertwines, forming a harmonious tapestry in the grand design.<\/p>\n

In four stages, it tells a captivating tale: “A Walk to Remember” for memories, “Walls of Silence” for reflection, “Recalling the History” as a storyteller, and “Journey of Freedom” for liberation. This architectural masterpiece weaves a narrative, transforming the project into an immersive experience beyond the ordinary.<\/p>\n

The aim was to curate a lively space where people can gather and feel connected to our history and interrelate. The enormous height of the monument can be seen from long distance, calling out to people from afar. People all around the space are drawn to explore the scopious enclave of the landscape. The pavement of the structure is linked with the school courtyard. Moreover, it is easily accessible from the pathway beside the pond.<\/p>\n

\u6cbf\u7740\u4eba\u884c\u9053\u8d70\u4e0b\u53bb\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u53ef\u4ee5\u611f\u53d7\u5230\u8fd9\u5ea7\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u5de8\u5927\u2014\u2014\u4e24\u5835 40 \u82f1\u5c3a\u9ad8\u7684\u5899\uff0c\u4ee3\u8868\u7740\u81ed\u540d\u662d\u8457\u7684\u201c\u7403\u573a\u95e8\u67f1\u201d\u3002\u5728\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u5916\u5899\u7684\u5de6\u4fa7\uff0c\u7528\u91d1\u8272\u7684\u5b5f\u52a0\u62c9\u5b57\u4f53\u5199\u7740\uff1a\u5728\u89e3\u653e\u795e\u5e99\u7684\u53f0\u9636\u4e0a\uff0c\u6709\u591a\u5c11\u751f\u547d\u88ab\u727a\u7272\uff0c\u773c\u6cea\u4f1a\u4e66\u5199\u3002\u80cc\u9762 40 \u82f1\u5c3a\u7684\u9ed1\u8272\u5899\u58c1\u5145\u6ee1\u4e86\u60b2\u4f24\u7684\u8272\u5f69\uff0c\u5899\u58c1\u4e0a\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e2a\u8840\u7ea2\u8272\u7684\u5706\u5708\uff0c\u8c61\u5f81\u7740\u70c8\u58eb\u4eec\u4e0d\u5f97\u4e0d\u5fcd\u53d7\u7684\u67aa\u51fb\u3002<\/p>\n

Walking down the pedestrian, one can feel the vastness of the structure \u2013 with two 40\u2019 tall walls, representing the infamous football post. On the left side of the concrete fa\u00e7ade \u2013\u201c\u09ae\u09c1\u0995\u09cd\u09a4\u09bf\u09b0 \u09ae\u09a8\u09cd\u09a6\u09bf\u09b0 \u09b8\u09cb\u09aa\u09be\u09a8\u09a4\u09b2\u09c7 \u0995\u09a4 \u09aa\u09cd\u09b0\u09be\u09a3 \u09b9\u09b2 \u09ac\u09b2\u09bf\u09a6\u09be\u09a8, \u09b2\u09c7\u0996\u09be \u0986\u099b\u09c7 \u0985\u09b6\u09cd\u09b0\u09c1\u099c\u09b2\u09c7\u201d\u00a0 (\u201cOn the steps of the temple of liberation, how many lives were sacrificed, it is written in tears\u201d) written in golden Bangla font. The 40\u2019 black wall on the back, that is saturated with the color of grief, carrying round blood-red punches, symbolizing the gunshots our martyrs had to endure.<\/p>\n

Sixteen lit steps till one stand on the monumental plaza, while looking up from there – six copper cylinders suspended by cords, which represents the journey of our immortal warriors of Feni. The monumental structure flows out to a diagonally arranged landscape design that also consists of amphitheater, memorial plaques, walkway and seating surrounded by mesmerizing greeneries. The \u201cZig-Zag\u201d pathway signifies the hardship of the path that our immortal brothers had to endure.<\/p>\n

Right after the launch, youngsters of the school held performances in the amphitheater, while the public gathered together to honor the martyrs. Circulating through the walkways, youths find themselves on the journey of Feni independence through reading the memorial plaques. They read about the history and stories of the sacrifices of our martyrs, names of 31 Bir Muktijoddha (Freedom-Fighters), and later finds themselves standing in front of our nations map and flag.<\/p>\n

People learned about stories of a man who came to Feni College slaughter-ground on 1972, in search of his brother. He picked up a skull from the piles of bones, holding it close to his heart. When asked why he is taking it, he said \u2013 \u201cThey took my brother to the Feni College Camp and he has been missing ever since. My brother had a larger head, and this skull looks bigger than the others.\u201d These shattering tales remind the youths about the sacrifices of their roots. The once abandoned area has become a vibrant space to socialize and memorialize the history of Feni College Boddhobhumi (Slaughter-Ground).<\/p>\n
