The project is located in Jiaxing, a water town in Jiangnan (regions south of the Yangtze River), which has good natural and humanistic traditions. Based on the project’s unique genes, the city memories and local culture of Jiaxing, we redefined the spiritual core of urban vacation from the residential origin of oriental aesthetics, to customize an art collection, and preview the life dimension of the artistic Orient for the future.<\/p>\n

Through the construction of different scenarios to create a unique conception that fits each space, the visitors will be gently into the arms with the warm, elegant and introverted temperament, a focused gesture to call a point of resonance to the simple life. People need to live in nature more often, just like the love of grass and trees for time, it’s extravagant and poetic. Just as the woods and the water system are the skeleton of the landscape, the old trees tell the history, and the falling water flows with the ode to years.<\/p>\n

The three courtyards are laid out as “folding gardens”, borrowing scenery and penetrating into each other. We combined art and landscape, selected Snow White Jade to create a 36-meter-long jade curtain wall, which is warm, elegant and luxurious, to lead people to experience the city-grade courtesy order to home. At the same time, with the help of fa\u00e7ade image and field aura, the drop-off space is connected through the same structure, and pedestrians and vehicles are skillfully separated to bring different arrival feelings. Visitors can feel the rhythm conveyed by the real space from the changes in the scene.<\/p>\n

Exploring from the main channel inward, we utilized the delicate metal grille to form a partition, creating a sunken rest space that is semi-enclosed, constructing the changing and concluding of the first meeting between people and space, the grille and the light is forming the interaction between fantasy and reality, so that visitors can immersed in the experience of the mystery and beauty brought by light. The vision flows better in the space, and the perception of emotion becomes smooth and continuous.<\/p>\n

Powerful blocks with rich and rough layers, of metal material interspersed and snapped together, create a strong granularity in the tranquil space while giving a stable skeleton strength. The reflection of light spots and water shadows strengthens the romanticism of the space.<\/p>\n

As the sun sets, the shimmering light of the jade curtain wall gradually illuminates, the space is filled with rich light and shadow changes in sequence. When the exhibition area is infiltrated by the warm light, the glistening water surface and the mottled tree shadows are also mapped into the space, and nature is “collected” in a more sensual form, a subtle dialog has formed between lights and the space.<\/p>\n

It is not only the pursuit of design aesthetics but also the care for people and true self in time.<\/p>\n

Behind the jade curtain wall is a wide-open pine forest and water courtyard, where the shadows of pine dance under the light. As the core opposite scenery of the exhibition space, five native Taishan pines stand in the water court, creating an elegant and luxurious picture, containing thousands of changes in the quietness. In the morning and evening, day and night, sitting idly in the hall, with the flow of time, see the change of light and shadow. Standing idly on the platform, there is a free feeling of being above the water, and the scroll of pine is spreading out. Sitting quietly in the elegant seats, drinking slowly and chatting, there is a sense of relaxation and comfort wrapped by nature.<\/p>\n

It is quiet and delicate, hidden and charming. Simple geometric water features and sculptured plants are interspersed with pure and quiet flowers, natural habitats and spatial experience are intertwined to make people feel soothed and healed, relaxed and calm, beautiful and healing here.<\/p>\n

The space transforms the contact between nature and humans at different times into different images. It is interpreted through a real sense of touch, so we were able to create scenes with multiple sequences and visual flows.<\/p>\n
