Studio array<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\uff1a\u4f4d\u4e8e\u65b0\u5fb7\u91cc Arjanghar \u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u9a7b\u5730 Farm 8 \u5750\u843d\u5728\u4e00\u7247\u751f\u673a\u76ce\u7136\u7684\u7eff\u6d32\u4e2d\uff0c\u5730\u5904\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u53e3\u7a20\u5bc6\u7684\u57ce\u4e2d\u6751\u5185\u3002\u5927\u7ea6\u5341\u5e74\u524d\uff0c\u5ba2\u6237 Ranbir \u548c Rashmi Kaleka \u6253\u7b97\u5c06\u8be5\u573a\u5730\u7528\u4f5c\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u5de5\u4f5c\u5ba4\u3002\u5f53\u65f6\u5730\u57fa\u4ee5\u53ca\u67f1\u5b50\u5747\u5df2\u6d47\u7b51\u5b8c\u6210\uff0c\u7136\u800c\u4e0d\u5e78\u7684\u662f\uff0c\u7531\u4e8e\u4e00\u4e9b\u610f\u6599\u4e4b\u5916\u7684\u539f\u56e0\uff0c\u73b0\u573a\u505c\u6b62\u4e86\u65bd\u5de5\u30022020 \u5e74\uff0c\u968f\u7740\u9700\u6c42\u548c\u751f\u6d3b\u65b9\u5f0f\u7684\u4e0d\u65ad\u53d8\u5316\uff0c\u827a\u672f\u5bb6-\u5ba2\u6237\u5f00\u59cb\u7528\u8fd9\u5ea7\u5360\u5730 5 \u82f1\u4ea9\u7684\u519c\u573a\u8fdb\u884c\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u8015\u4f5c\u548c\u5b9e\u9a8c\u6027\u751f\u6001\u519c\u4e1a\u5b9e\u8df5\uff0c\u5e76\u4f5c\u4e3a Farm8 \u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u96c6\u4f53\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Studio array<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\uff1aLocated in Arjanghar, New Delhi, The artist residency, Farm 8 is nestled in a verdant oasis, within an otherwise densely packed urban village. Almost a decade ago, the clients, Ranbir and Rashmi Kaleka intended to use the site as an artist’s studio space for themselves. Foundations and columns were thus cast at the time, unfortunately the on-site work was stalled for unforeseen reasons. In 2020, with evolving needs and lifestyles, the artist-clients began using the 5-acre farm for sustainable farming and experimental permaculture practices as part of an artist collective called Farm8. The collective includes artists Ranbir and Rashmi Kaleka, the Late Vivan Sundaram, Bharti Kher, Subodh Gupta, Jagannath and Pranati Panda, Jogen Chowdhury, Shambavi Singh, Meera Menezes, Rajiv Bhargava, Anil Chandra, Manoj Arora, Eegje Schoo and the late Sanjeev Sinha.<\/p>\n

Studio Array \u53d7\u9080\u5728\u6b64\u6253\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u80fd\u8ba9\u6765\u8bbf\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u4e0e\u81ea\u7136\u6816\u606f\u5730\u5efa\u7acb\u8054\u7cfb\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5c06\u4ed6\u4eec\u4ece\u7e41\u5fd9\u800c\u82db\u523b\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u89e3\u8131\u51fa\u6765\u3002\u56e2\u961f\u5e76\u6ca1\u6709\u4ece\u96f6\u5f00\u59cb\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u6709\u610f\u8bc6\u5730\u5229\u7528\u73b0\u6709\u7684\u7acb\u67f1\u7cfb\u7edf\u548c\u5730\u57fa\u7b49\u534a\u6210\u54c1\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u5ef6\u7eed\u5ba2\u6237\u7684\u751f\u6001\u6587\u5316\u4e3b\u4e49\u601d\u60f3\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u529b\u6c42\u51cf\u5c11\u6d6a\u8d39\uff0c\u4fdd\u7559\u4e86\u591a\u5e74\u524d\u5df2\u7ecf\u5efa\u9020\u7684\u57fa\u7840\u8bbe\u65bd\uff0c\u5e76\u5c06\u5176\u5305\u56f4\u8d77\u6765\u3002\u7531\u6b64\uff0c\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u9a7b\u5730\u201c\u8986\u76d6\u201d\u548c\u201c\u5305\u88f9\u201d\u4e86\u65e7\u7684\u7ed3\u6784\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u901a\u8fc7\u8f7b\u8d28\u94a2\u6750\u3001\u73bb\u7483\u3001\u7af9\u5b50\u548c\u6728\u5236\u5899\u4f53\u7684\u4ecb\u5165\u521b\u9020\u4e86\u7ed3\u6784\u4e0a\u7684\u5bf9\u6bd4\u3002\u5efa\u6210\u540e\u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u9a7b\u5730\u5c06\u5728\u672a\u6765\u63a5\u5f85\u6765\u81ea\u5370\u5ea6\u548c\u56fd\u5916\u7684\u827a\u672f\u5bb6\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Studio Array was brought in with a renewed intention of crafting an escape that would allow visiting artists to connect with the natural habitat, whilst disconnecting from their busy and demanding urban lives. The architects, instead of starting from a tabula rasa, intentionally resolved to continue working on the half-done canvas of columns and foundations that existed on-site. Perpetuating the client\u2019s permaculturalist ideology, the architects sought to reduce waste and retain and wrap around the infrastructure that was already built on-site years ago. The artist’s residency therefore \u2018caps\u2019 and \u2018envelopes\u2019 the old structure while creating a structural contrast by intervening with lightweight steel, glass, bamboo and wooden drywall construction. The residency plans to host artists from India and abroad.<\/p>\n
