Amidst the increasingly urgent biodiversity crisis, Rifle Range Nature Park safeguards one of the last primary forests in Singapore, supporting the country\u2019s ambitions to transform into a City in Nature under the Singapore Green Plan 2030.<\/p>\n

\u5c04\u9776\u573a\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u7247\u81ea\u7136\u7f13\u51b2\u533a\uff0c\u4fdd\u62a4\u4e86\u6b66\u5409\u77e5\u9a6c\uff08Bukit Timah\uff09\u81ea\u7136\u4fdd\u62a4\u533a\u514d\u53d7\u8fb9\u7f18\u6548\u5e94\u548c\u9644\u8fd1\u57ce\u5e02\u5f00\u53d1\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u52a0\u5f3a\u4e86\u751f\u6001\u8fde\u63a5\uff0c\u4e3a\u81ea\u7136\u4fdd\u62a4\u533a\u7684\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u63d0\u4f9b\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u6816\u606f\u5730\u3002\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u8fd8\u6062\u590d\u4e86\u68ee\u6797\u548c\u6e7f\u5730\u6816\u606f\u5730\uff0c\u5e76\u901a\u8fc7\u65b0\u7684\u6b65\u884c\u5c0f\u5f84\u3001\u6728\u6808\u9053\u548c\u81ea\u7136\u6e38\u4e50\u8bbe\u65bd\uff0c\u4e3a\u6e38\u5ba2\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u4f11\u95f2\u673a\u4f1a\u3002<\/p>\n

Rifle Range Nature Park serves as a green buffer to protect the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve from edge effects and abutting developments, while enhancing ecological connectivity and providing complementary habitats for the Nature Reserve\u2019s biodiversity\u2019. The nature park also features restored forest and wetland habitats, and provides visitors with more nature-based recreation opportunities with new trails, boardwalks and nature play features.<\/p>\n

\u5c04\u9776\u573a\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u5750\u843d\u5728 Sin Seng \u91c7\u77f3\u573a\u7684\u65e7\u5740\uff0c\u8be5\u91c7\u77f3\u573a\u4e8e 1998 \u5e74\u505c\u6b62\u8fd0\u8425\uff0c\u5e76\u968f\u4e4b\u8352\u5e9f\u5bfc\u81f4\u4e86\u5730\u8c8c\u9000\u5316\uff0c\u571f\u8d28\u4e0b\u964d\uff0c\u7ee7\u800c\u6742\u8349\u704c\u6728\u4e1b\u751f\u3002\u200b\u9879\u76ee\u521d\u671f\uff0c\u8bbe\u8ba1\u56e2\u961f\u5f00\u5c55\u4e86\u4e00\u9879\u5168\u9762\u7684\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u57fa\u7ebf\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u4ee5\u786e\u5b9a\u5177\u6709\u4fdd\u62a4\u610f\u4e49\u7684\u533a\u57df\u548c\u7269\u79cd\uff0c\u5e76\u4e3a\u540e\u671f\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u8bbe\u8ba1\u548c\u89c4\u5212\u63d0\u4f9b\u4f9d\u636e\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u57fa\u7840\u4e0a\uff0c\u9879\u76ee\u5b9e\u65bd\u4e86\u7cbe\u5fc3\u7684\u79cd\u690d\u7b56\u7565\uff0c\u4ee5\u6539\u5584\u571f\u58e4\u8d28\u91cf\uff0c\u5438\u5f15\u672c\u5730\u751f\u7269\u7fa4\u843d\uff0c\u5e76\u4fc3\u8fdb\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u5411\u90bb\u8fd1\u7684\u6b66\u5409\u77e5\u9a6c\u81ea\u7136\u4fdd\u62a4\u533a\u8fc7\u6e21\u3002\u5982\u4eca\uff0c\u8be5\u5730\u533a\u5df2\u6210\u4e3a\u591a\u79cd\u52a8\u690d\u7269\u7684\u5bb6\u56ed\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u6781\u5ea6\u6fd2\u5371\u7684\u9a6c\u6765\u7a7f\u5c71\u7532\uff08Manis javanica\uff09\u548c\u970d\u65af\u83f2\u5c14\u5fb7\u9f2f\u9f20\uff08Lomys horsfieldii\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n

Rifle Range Nature Park is located at the site of the former Sin Seng Quarry, which ceased operations in 1998, resulting in a degraded landscape with poor soil quality and overgrown scrub vegetation. A comprehensive biodiversity baseline study was carried out to identify areas and species of conservation significance, and informed the design and planning of works for the project. As a result, elaborate planting strategies were implemented to improve soil quality, attract native fauna, and facilitate the nature park\u2019s transition to the adjacent Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Today, the area is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the critically endangered Sunda Pangolin (Manis javanica), and the Horsfield\u2019s Flying Squirrel (Lomys horsfieldii).<\/p>\n

\u6c34\u8d44\u6e90\u7ba1\u7406\u4f5c\u4e3a\u751f\u6001\u7cfb\u7edf\u6062\u590d\u7684\u5173\u952e\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u8be5\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\u3002\u516c\u56ed\u4e2d\u7684\u7279\u8272\u6c34\u8d44\u6e90\u5305\u62ec\u4ece\u56de\u586b\u91c7\u77f3\u573a\u6062\u590d\u7684\u6de1\u6c34\u6816\u606f\u5730\u3001\u62d3\u5bbd\u7684\u6eaa\u6d41\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u652f\u6301\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u548c\u81ea\u7136\u704c\u6e89\u7684\u6c34\u654f\u611f\u5143\u7d20\uff0c\u5982\u6cbc\u6cfd\u548c\u96e8\u6c34\u82b1\u56ed\u3002<\/p>\n

Water management, crucial for ecosystem revival, is central to the nature park\u2019s design, which features a freshwater habitat restored from a backfilled quarry, widened streams, and water-sensitive elements like swales and raingardens to support biodiversity and natural irrigation.<\/p>\n

\u516c\u56ed\u5185\u62e5\u6709\u5404\u79cd\u81ea\u7136\u5f92\u6b65\u8def\u5f84\uff0c\u603b\u957f\u5ea6\u8d85\u8fc7 7 \u516c\u91cc\uff0c\u5176\u6062\u590d\u6027\u548c\u518d\u751f\u6027\u666f\u89c2\u8bbe\u8ba1\u601d\u8651\u5468\u5168\uff0c\u8003\u8651\u5230\u4e86\u4e0d\u540c\u7fa4\u4f53\u2014\u2014\u4ece\u884c\u52a8\u4e0d\u4fbf\u8005\u5230\u63a2\u9669\u8005\u7b49\u7528\u6237\u7684\u9700\u6c42\u3002<\/p>\n

With a variety of nature trails spanning a total of over 7 km, the restorative and regenerative landscape design for the nature park is developed from thoughtful considerations for a spectrum of users, from the mobility-impaired to the adventure seekers.<\/p>\n

\u5c04\u9776\u573a\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u4e5f\u662f\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u9996\u4e2a\u5b9e\u73b0\u51c0\u96f6\u80fd\u6e90\u7684\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\uff0c\u4ece\u5b89\u88c5\u5728\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u5468\u56f4\u7684\u5149\u4f0f\u592a\u9633\u80fd\u7535\u6c60\u677f\u4e2d\u83b7\u53d6\u7684\u80fd\u6e90\u8d85\u8fc7\u4e86\u516c\u56ed\u6bcf\u5e74\u9884\u671f\u7684\u8fd0\u8425\u80fd\u8017\u3002<\/p>\n

Rifle Range Nature Park is also the first net-positive energy nature park in Singapore, with the energy harvested from the photovoltaic solar panels installed around the nature park exceeding the expected annual operational energy consumption of the site.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u5c04\u9776\u573a\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u8363\u83b7 ULI \u4e9a\u592a\u5353\u8d8a\u5956\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u6df1\u611f\u8363\u5e78\u3002\u8fd9\u8bc1\u660e\u4e86\u6211\u4eec\u5bf9\u4e8e\u4fdd\u62a4\u548c\u5ef6\u7eed\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u81ea\u7136\u8d44\u6e90\u7684\u4e0d\u61c8\u52aa\u529b\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u901a\u8fc7\u5efa\u7acb\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u7f51\u7edc\u6765\u4fdd\u62a4\u6838\u5fc3\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u533a\u57df\u3002\u4ece\u7cbe\u5fc3\u6539\u5584\u524d\u91c7\u77f3\u573a\uff0c\u5230\u5c06\u5c04\u9776\u573a\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u5efa\u6210\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u9996\u4e2a\u51c0\u96f6\u80fd\u8017\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\uff0c\u518d\u5230\u6539\u5584\u751f\u6001\u8fde\u901a\u6027\u548c\u672c\u5730\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\u7684\u6816\u606f\u5730\uff0c\u4ee5\u786e\u4fdd\u5b83\u4eec\u957f\u671f\u751f\u5b58\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e00\u8def\u8d70\u6765\uff0c\u59cb\u7ec8\u4ee5\u751f\u6001\u7ba1\u7406\u548c\u521b\u65b0\u4e3a\u6307\u5bfc\u3002\u5c04\u9776\u573a\u81ea\u7136\u516c\u56ed\u7cbe\u5fc3\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u6b65\u9053\u548c\u8bbe\u65bd\u4e5f\u4e3a\u516c\u4f17\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u66f4\u591a\u673a\u4f1a\u6765\u6b23\u8d4f\u548c\u4e86\u89e3\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u672c\u5730\u7684\u751f\u7269\u591a\u6837\u6027\uff0c\u5e76\u8ba9\u4ed6\u4eec\u5728\u63a5\u89e6\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u9010\u6e10\u6210\u4e3a\u81ea\u7136\u8d44\u4ea7\u7684\u7ba1\u7406\u8005\u3002\u6240\u6709\u8fd9\u4e9b\u52aa\u529b\u90fd\u6709\u52a9\u4e8e\u6211\u4eec\u5c06\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u5851\u9020\u6210\u4e00\u5ea7\u2018\u81ea\u7136\u4e4b\u57ce\u2019\u3002\u201d\u2014\u2014 Kee Wen Yu\uff0c\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u56fd\u5bb6\u516c\u56ed\u5c40\u526f\u5c40\u957f<\/p>\n
