studio MOTO<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aFrom the beginning, we were aware of the sensitive location, the unique character of the place where many different elements come together. The sea with its tides, the beach, the dunes, and the promenade. Belgium and France. Birds and walkers. Water, sand, concrete, and nature. How can we bring all these elements together, make them more tangible, without imposing them and without disturbing the place? We sought an experience that could be part of all these elements and become one with the place as if it had always been there. Permanent, anchored, yet free. Meaningful.<\/p>\n

The form we were looking for ultimately answers this question in all its aspects.<\/p>\n

\u8fde\u63a5\u7ebd\u5e26 <\/strong>Connecting<\/p>\n

\u8fd9\u5ea7\u77ad\u671b\u5854\u4f4d\u4e8e\u6d77\u6ee8\u957f\u5eca\u7684\u659c\u5761\u4e0a\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4ece\u5fb7\u6f58\u8bb7\uff08De Panne\uff09\u6cbf\u7740\u6d77\u6ee8\u957f\u5eca\u6b65\u884c\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u53d1\u73b0\u77ad\u671b\u5854\u7684\u57fa\u5ea7\u4e0e\u6d77\u6ee8\u957f\u5eca\u5728\u4e00\u6761\u76f4\u7ebf\u4e0a\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u53ef\u4ee5\u5ef6\u957f\u6b65\u884c\u65f6\u95f4\u3002\u5f53\u884c\u4eba\u722c\u4e0a\u5854\u8eab\u5e76\u4ece\u5854\u4e0a\u4e0b\u6765\u65f6\uff0c\u4f1a\u81ea\u52a8\u56de\u5230\u6d77\u6ee8\u957f\u5eca\u6216\u6d77\u6ee9\uff0c\u5f92\u6b65\u884c\u7a0b\u4ecd\u5728\u7ee7\u7eed\u3002\u77ad\u671b\u5854\u7684\u72ec\u7279\u4f4d\u7f6e\u4f7f\u5176\u6210\u4e3a\u4e86\u8fde\u63a5\u4e0d\u540c\u5143\u7d20\u7684\u7ebd\u5e26\u3002<\/p>\n

The observation tower is positioned on the slope of the promenade. If you walk along the promenade from De Panne, the base of the observation tower lies in line with the promenade, thus extending the walk. As you climb and descend the tower, you automatically return to the promenade or the beach. The walk continues. The placement of the tower literally makes the location a link between the different elements.<\/p>\n
