y\u01d2u Landscape<\/strong><\/a>: Streets are the most fundamental public facilities in cities, the places where urban residents have the closest relationships, and also important spatial carriers of urban history and culture. The flat terrain, comfortable climate, and leisurely character traits have long fostered the lifestyle of Chengdu people who love “window shopping”. According to the comprehensive transportation survey of Chengdu City, the proportion of non-commuting trips in the city is as high as 56%, and the proportion of slow travel in the residents’ travel accounts for 47.5%.<\/p>\n

At the same time, streets are also the specific implementation and vivid expression of the concept of building a beautiful and livable park city. To fully implement the new development concept and create beautiful and pleasant characteristic block scenes of the park city, Chengdu City has introduced the “Chengdu Park City Street Integrated Design Guidelines” (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”) and other corresponding documents, providing top-level support for the planning and construction of park city blocks.<\/p>\n

The “Guidelines” clearly define the scope of integrated design, expanding from the road red line in the past to the U-shaped space centered on the street, greatly expanding the category of “street space”.<\/p>\n

\u672c\u6b21\u8bbe\u8ba1\u6539\u9020\u7684\u8700\u9f99\u5927\u9053\u4f4d\u4e8e\u65b0\u90fd\u533a\u5185\uff0c\u5357\u8d77\u718a\u732b\u5927\u9053\uff0c\u4e0e\u6210\u90fd\u7ed5\u57ce\u9ad8\u901f\u3001\u65b0\u90fd\u7ed5\u57ce\u5927\u9053\u3001\u5174\u57ce\u5927\u9053\u3001\u9a6c\u8d85\u8def\u3001\u65b0\u5317\u5927\u9053\u7b49\u76f8\u4ea4\uff0c\u5317\u81f3\u9e3f\u8fd0\u5927\u9053\uff0c\u662f\u6210\u90fd\u5e02\u533a\u57df\u7ea7\u4ea4\u901a\u4e3b\u5e72\u8def\uff0c\u627f\u8f7d\u7740\u65b0\u90fd\u57ce\u533a\u4ee5\u53ca\u4e0e\u6210\u90fd\u5e02\u533a\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u8054\u7cfb\u3002\u5168\u957f\u7ea612.6km\uff0c\u4e00\u4f53\u5316\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7ea2\u7ebf\u8303\u56f4\u7ea6\u4e3a25\u4e07\u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\u3002<\/p>\n

Location and Opportunity<\/p>\n

The Shu Long Avenue, which is the subject of this design renovation, is located within the Xindu District. It starts from the Panda Avenue in the south, intersects with Chengdu Ring Expressway, Xindu Ring Road, Xingcheng Avenue, Ma Chao Road, Xinbei Avenue, etc., and extends to the Hongyun Avenue in the north. It is a major regional traffic artery in Chengdu City, bearing the main connection between the Xindu urban area and the urban area of Chengdu. The total length is approximately 12.6 kilometers, and the scope of the integrated design red line is about 250,000 square meters.<\/p>\n

\u518d\u52a0\u4e0a\u5373\u5c06\u5230\u6765\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u5927\u5b66\u751f\u8fd0\u52a8\u4f1a\u91cd\u8981\u573a\u9986\u5206\u5e03\u4e8e\u8700\u9f99\u5927\u9053\u5468\u8fb9\uff0c\u4e5f\u63a8\u52a8\u4e86\u5176\u6539\u9020\u5de5\u7a0b\u7684\u542f\u52a8\u3002
\n\u5728\u516c\u56ed\u57ce\u5e02\u8857\u9053\u4e00\u4f53\u5316\u5efa\u8bbe\u7684\u80cc\u666f\u4e0b\uff0c\u8700\u9f99\u5927\u9053\u5c06\u901a\u8fc7\u8f66\u884c\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e0e\u6162\u884c\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u5168\u65b9\u4f4d\u6539\u9020\uff0c\u6765\u6ee1\u8db3\u516c\u56ed\u57ce\u5e02\u80cc\u666f\u4e0b\u7684\u65b0\u578b\u9053\u8def\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u5176\u4e2d\u5e02\u653f\u4e13\u4e1a\u7531\u4e2d\u56fd\u5e02\u653f\u897f\u5357\u9662\u5b8c\u6210\uff0c\u666f\u89c2\u90e8\u5206\u7531\u5143\u6709\u8d1f\u8d23\u3002<\/p>\n

The Shu Long Avenue was completed and opened to traffic in 2005. Over more than a decade since its operation, the area along the road has developed rapidly, with a huge volume of vehicular traffic. At the same time, there is no continuous slow traffic system along the line, and the municipal supporting facilities are old, making the current road conditions unable to meet the current needs in various aspects.<\/p>\n

In addition, the upcoming World University Games, with important venues distributed around Shu Long Avenue, has also promoted the start of its renovation project.
\nUnder the background of the integrated construction of the park city streets, Shu Long Avenue will undergo a comprehensive transformation of both vehicular and slow traffic spaces to meet the new type of road public space in the context of the park city. Among them, the municipal professional part is completed by the Southwest Municipal Engineering Research Institute of China, and the landscape part is undertaken by y\u01d2uscape .<\/p>\n

\u5bf9\u4e8e\u6539\u9020\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5145\u5206\u4e86\u89e3\u573a\u5730\u73b0\u72b6\u662f\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u524d\u63d0\u3002\u800c\u672c\u9879\u76ee\u7ebf\u578b\u7684\u9053\u8def\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e24\u4fa7\u590d\u6742\u591a\u53d8\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u7528\u5730\u754c\u9762\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5927\u91cf\u7684\u73b0\u72b6\u690d\u88ab\u4f7f\u5f97\u73b0\u573a\u8e0f\u52d8\u7684\u96be\u5ea6\u5927\u5927\u589e\u52a0\u3002<\/p>\n

Research and Strategy<\/p>\n

For renovation projects, a thorough understanding of the current site conditions is a prerequisite for design. The complex and variable urban land use interfaces on both sides of the linear road space of this project, along with a large amount of existing vegetation, greatly increase the difficulty of on-site surveys.<\/p>\n
