Wowhaus :\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a> A once unappealing Krymskaya embankment, only recently separated from the Muzeon park and the Central House of Artists, has been transformed beyond recognition: what once was a road has turned into a lane for pedestrians and bicycles. Fountains have been set up, wave-shaped artist pavilions have replaced a chaotic exhibition area and small hills with benches scattered about have become part of the landscape park thus extending a green strip from Gorky park on the other side of the Krymsky bridge.<\/p>\n

To link the Krymskaya embankment to a 10 km pedestrian and cycling route that starts at Vorobievy gori and to replace the road with a landscape park with distinct transit and sport features while preserving the artists\u2019 exhibition zone.<\/p>\n

\n\u6539\u9020\u540e\u7684Krymskaya\u5824\u5cb8\u662f\u83ab\u65af\u79d1\u5e02\u4e2d\u5fc3\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u4e2a\u5168\u5e74\u666f\u89c2\u516c\u56ed\u3002\u5728\u590f\u5929\uff0c\u6ce2\u6d6a\u5f62\u7684\u591a\u7ea7\u5e03\u5c40\u53ef\u4ee5\u7528\u4e8e\u6b65\u884c\u3001\u9a91\u81ea\u884c\u8f66\u6216\u8f6e\u6ed1\uff0c\u800c\u5728\u51ac\u5929\uff0c\u5b83\u662f\u96ea\u6a47\u3001\u6ed1\u51b0\u6216\u6ed1\u96ea\u7684\u5b8c\u7f8e\u8bbe\u65bd\u3002<\/p>\n

The transformed Krymskaya embankment is the first year-round landscape park in the centre of Moscow. In Summer the wave-shaped multilevel layout can be used for walking, cycling or roller-skating while in Winter it is a perfect setup for sledding, skating or skiing.<\/p>\n

The central design element of the embankment is the wave: wave-shaped benches, pedestrian and cycling waves create an artificial landscape.<\/p>\n

The bike rental pavilion closest to the 3rd Golutvinsky lane is equipped with a concrete roof ramp for bikes or skateboards. Designed by Roman Kuchukov.<\/p>\n

Under the Krymsky Bridge<\/p>\n

A transit zone connecting Gorky Park with the Krymsky embankment has become a popular spot and also provides shelter from the rain now that a stage, and two wooden amphitheatres have been built. 28 artificial rock and metal benches illuminated from the inside are scattered along the way as an amenity for pedestrians and cyclists from Muzeon to Gorky park.<\/p>\n

The fountain zone which is the central element of the new park, faces the Central House of Artists and is separated from the river by a linden alley.<\/p>\n

A fountain jet, 60 metres long and 14 metres wide, is one of the options of the so called ”dry” fountains when the edge of the water is level with the paving.<\/p>\n

49\u68f5\u6934\u6811\u88ab\u79cd\u690d\u5728\u4e00\u4e2a\u5178\u578b\u7684\u6cd5\u56fd\u516c\u56ed\u91cc\uff0c\u5b83\u4eec\u4f4d\u4e8e\u55b7\u6cc9\u4e1c\u5317\u7684\u5824\u5cb8\u4e0a\u3002\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u9996\u6b21\u4f7f\u7528\u4e86\u4e00\u79cd\u7279\u6b8a\u79cd\u690d\u6280\u672f\uff0c\u5141\u8bb8\u884c\u4eba\u548c\u81ea\u884c\u8f66\u5728\u8def\u9762\u4e0a\u901a\u884c\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u4f1a\u5bf9\u6811\u6728\u9020\u6210\u635f\u5bb3\u3002<\/p>\n

The fountain has an internal system of dynamic lighting that allows various lighting patterns.<\/p>\n

49 lindens were planted in a classic French park order to the north-east of the fountain on the embankment. A special planting technology, used in Russia for the first time, allows walking and cycling on these lanes without causing damage to the trees.<\/p>\n

“Green Hills”<\/p>\n

When planning this part of the pedestrian route special attention was paid to the artificial landscape and plantation.<\/p>\n

Hills designed for walking and resting were furnished mainly with steppe plants. Trees and bushes with decorative crowns like lindens, hawthorns, rowan trees and ornamental apple trees were planted on hills from where one can contemplate and admire the scenery.<\/p>\n

\u6ce2\u6d6a\u5f62\u72b6\u7684\u6728\u5236\u957f\u6905\u548c\u6c99\u6ee9\u5e8a\u5728\u4eba\u884c\u9053\u4e4b\u95f4\u88ab\u201c\u5207\u5272\u201d\u6210\u5c0f\u5c71\uff0c\u8fd9\u66f4\u52a0\u7a81\u51fa\u4e86\u4eba\u5de5\u6d6e\u96d5\u3002\u516c\u56ed\u7684\u8fd9\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u4e5f\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u4eba\u5de5\u6c60\u5858\u3002<\/p>\n

The artificial relief is accentuated by wave-shaped wooden benches and beach beds that are “cut” into hills between walking lanes. There is also an artificial pond in this part of the park.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the bureau’s project there are three pavilions on the Krymskaya embankment, the fourth one will be completed by the end of 2013 and will replace a gas station. Pavilions will be used as cafes, stores and bike rentals.<\/p>\n
