WTD<\/strong><\/a>: The six-kilometre-long bay is shaped like two rounds of crescent moon, surrounded by gently sloping hillsides with dense vegetation, and the world’s largest area of green forests stretching for dozens of miles along the coastline, which are the natural substrates that make Shimei Bay the most unique bay in Hainan. After 26 years of deep ploughing by CR, Shimei Bay is now a seaside holiday resort integrating cultural tourism, recreation, leisure and sports.<\/p>\n

Phase 7 located in the centre is separated by the public corridor through the east and west side to the lake area reserved by the large property planning, we continue the planning idea to divide this canyon link from the residential private area as the most important public landscape corridor in the whole Shimeiwan. The west side links the waterfront ecological park, the central part connects the north and south clusters of Phase 7, and the east side links Shimeiwan Phase 9, 10, 11 and Nine Mile Phase 2, Run Street, etc., which will become an important link for the ecological holiday life in Shimeiwan in the future.<\/p>\n

\u5ce1\u8c37\u7a7a\u95f4\u7531\u897f\u5411\u4e1c\u9010\u6e10\u53d8\u7a84\uff0c\u6d3b\u52a8\u7a7a\u95f4\u7531\u52a8\u81f3\u9759\u3002\u897f\u4fa7\u5c3a\u5ea6\u5f00\u655e\uff0c\u662f\u6700\u6b22\u4e50\u70ed\u95f9\u7684\u6eaa\u8c37\u516c\u5171\u6d3b\u52a8\u666f\u89c2\u5e26\u3002\u8fd9\u91cc\u6709\u53ef\u5bb9\u7eb3300\u4eba\u6d3b\u52a8\u89c4\u6a21\u76841100\u33a1\u9633\u5149\u8349\u576a\uff0c\u8349\u576a\u8fde\u63a5\u7740\u751f\u6001\u6c60\u5858\uff0c\u6c60\u5858\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5229\u7528\u81ea\u7136\u9ad8\u5dee\u9519\u843d\uff0c\u5851\u9020\u4e86\u91ce\u8da3\u7684\u68af\u7530\u3001\u8349\u9636\u3001\u6728\u6808\u9053\u7684\u4e61\u91ce\u753b\u9762\u3002<\/p>\n

Relying on the 29,000 square metres of lake body in the west lagoon park, we use the element of \u2018stream\u2019 to run through the water in different scales and forms in this long landscape belt, and the natural height difference between the east and the west is about 8m to build up a sloping ecological canyon pattern from the top to the bottom.<\/p>\n

The canyon space gradually narrows from west to east, and the activity space goes from dynamic to static. The west side of the open scale is the most joyful and lively public activity landscape zone in the valley. There is a sunny lawn of 1,100 square metres that can accommodate 300 people, and the lawn is connected to an ecological pond, which is designed to make use of the natural height difference to shape a wild countryside picture of terraces, grass steps and wooden stacks.<\/p>\n

On the other side of the pond is a rainforest-style commercial street, which is an excellent sunset viewing point, the sunlight shines on the pond, sparkling golden light, so it is named \u2018Golden Pond\u2019. The bottom of the pond is paved with multi-layer natural materials of schist with a thickness of 10-15mm, and the edge of the barge is planted with manzanita grass, which likes wet environment, so as to create a natural and gentle shoreline and undulating slopes through low-maintenance methods.<\/p>\n

In the rainforest water play area in the middle of the canyon, the water flows in a more bouncy and cheerful form, integrating ecology, rainforest, parenting and water play to simulate an ecological stream valley habitat. The stream meanders downwards, 8m at its widest point and only 0.7m at its narrowest point, with turbulent natural drops digesting the height difference, and interactive water devices implanted in the spacious places, making it highly participatory.<\/p>\n

The water play area is paved with dark-coloured exposed aggregate concrete with schist rocks, adding dark-coloured old skinned natural scenic stones randomly placed along the bank and pebbles scattered. Plants include cigar bamboo taro, beautiful coneflower and penstemon as the background, false artemisia, spring feather and silver-haired wild peony as the middle transition, and green-leaved jade hibiscus, big Wu Feng grass and Ji Yan pendant grass in soft colours and textures, creating a rainforest secret world.<\/p>\n

The commercial street on the ground floor of the building faces the stream valley, and the landscape design is fully integrated with the building functions. Firstly, the building elevation is raised about 1.6m according to the terrain of the valley, forming three steps. The shops on the west side of the building are facing the golden pond, with an open landscape surface. The shop in the middle is the future owners’ canteen, facing the water play area, when parents eat in the canteen, children can take off their shoes and play in the water next to it, the living atmosphere and holiday style are perfectly integrated in the public area of the valley.<\/p>\n

In Shimeiwan Phase VII, we have made a more systematic and precise control of the design landing. Pre-terrain shaping through the drone bird’s-eye view of the superimposed design contour plane, verification of the accuracy of the slope stacking, repeated refinement of the model slope height and shape, so that each angle can be 360 \u00b0 have a view of the line of sight, and then fixed-point line, site elevation with the same angle against the model to control the shape of the slope.<\/p>\n

Plants are covered with full model over counter model. Skeleton trees such as rain trees at the main entrance, coconut trees on both sides of the main road, and sticky-leaf beans on the commercial street were used to feel the scale on site after the heap slopes came out to determine the number of trees, their heights, widths, and orientations. Each tree is selected by the designer down the field to form a seedling selection report, numbered one by one and then returned to the model for adjustment.<\/p>\n

After a period of growth, the Shimei Bay site has taken on a lush ecological scene, with mango grass dancing in the wind and coconut groves swaying in the sky. In the afterglow of the setting sun, the sparkling water and the cheerful figures on the grass reflect each other. Between the terraced canyons, the streams and water play area and the rainforest commercial street are staggered in a perfect blend of the wildness of the tropical rainforest and the comfort of holiday life.<\/p>\n
