YAS DESIGN<\/strong><\/a>: Tianjin Style\u00a0Baopo\u00a0Garden is situated along Third Avenue within the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), occupying a pivotal urban residential enclave. Strategically positioned adjacent to a major arterial road\u00a0to the north and a tranquil residential neighborhood to the south, the development achieves a balanced integration of metropolitan accessibility and residential seclusion.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the poetic essence of Spring River Flower Moon Night, this project reinterprets the refined elegance of Suzhou Classical Gardens\u00a0through a contemporary lens. We distill Neo-Chinese architectural elements\u00a0\u2014simplified roof profiles, lattice screens, and natural materiality\u2014to establish a “one-core, two-satellite” garden system(design area:\u00a015,269\u33a1)\u00a0\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The garden reinterprets the Spring River Flower Moon Night’s aqueous motifs. Drawing inspiration from Suzhou Coupled Garden (Ou Yuan), the design employs spatial compression-expansion techniques:Central Pine Courtyard features bifurcated ponds encircled by a Bianzhou Fang (flat-boat pavilion) and Wangyue Ting (moon-viewing pavilion), creating rippling reflections that mirror the poem’s line “glittering waves stretch thousands of miles” .Satellite Courtyards (Bamboo and Plum gardens flanking east\/west) are linked via moon gates and tidal-patterned lattice windows, rhythmically evoking the poem’s cosmic contemplation of “spring tides merging with the sea” \u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Plum Courtyard integrates rock formations and plum blossoms to evoke the poem\u2019s ethereal imagery of “moonlit floral forests shimmering like frost crystals” .<\/span><\/p>\n

Axial symmetry reinterprets Coupled Garden’s philosophy. The central rockery (yang) and flanking green islets (yin) embody yin-yang harmony\u00a0. This design fuses traditional cosmology with architectural balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The garden’s moon-phase lattice windows (new moon, waxing crescent, gibbous, full) and tidal-pattern carvings pay homage to Suzhou\u2019s classical gardens\u00a0. <\/span>Like Tadao Ando\u2019s Kyoto ceramic mural courtyard, this design synthesizes monumental precision with lyrical abstraction, evoking Chinese landscape scrolls through layered apertures. Residents inhabit living scrolls where each moonlit silhouette becomes a brushstroke in a daily curated exhibition of literati aesthetics\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by \u2018spring tides merging with the sea\u2019, the Pine Courtyard features black pines and rockery cascades, echoing Suzhou gardens\u2019\u00a0layout:\u00a0architecture encircling gardens, water encircling architecture.<\/p>\n

Framed views through moon gates and lattice screens capture dynamic vignettes of pines, rocks, and moonlight reflections. This \u2018living scroll\u2019 technique transforms homecoming into a promenade through poetic metamorphosis.<\/p>\n

The pavilion\u2019s waterscape mirrors clouds and sky, materializing the verse \u2018glittering waves stretch thousands of miles\u2019. Designed as \u2018a boat navigating a painting\u2019, it blends traditional elements\u2014pitched roof, carved lattice panels\u2014with modern tectonics: dark gray metal framing anchors the structure, while warm-toned lattices evoke weathered hull textures. Anchored amidst pines and bamboo shadows, this architectural vessel embodies Jiangnan garden\u2019s scenery-in-motion philosophy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moon-Viewing Pavilion: Temporal Philosophy Embodied, Perched above cascading waterfalls and dancing pine shadows. A meandering \u2018floating wine cups\u2019 channel winds through stone-stepped paths and arched bridges, materializing the poem\u2019s contemplation.<\/span><\/p>\n
