Additionally, the location offers a panoramic viewing angle of over 200\u00b0, providing sweeping vistas of the strait between the northern and southern islands. It serves crucial functions in timing operations and guiding navigation, which, over time, has led to its evolution into a cultural symbol and object of reverence among the fishing community. The design seeks to create a unique interaction between the sun and the island. By studying its trajectory over the course of a full year, the &#8220;Light-Leaking Device&#8221; is calibrated to cast specific beams of light onto specific locations on the platform at precise times.
