The Uttarakhand Government envisioned an accessible public site, and the design team embraced a more nuanced interpretation\u2014one that honours the land\u2019s layered and often undocumented history while safeguarding its fragile ecosystem.<\/p>\n

During early excavation, multiple graves were uncovered, possibly linked to the First World War, yet without traces of archival identity. This absence of documentation introduces a profound sense of reverence, making its preservation even more critical. The interventions remain intentionally minimal: carefully laid pathways and sensitively restored elements ensure the natural landscape and historical significance remain paramount. The goal was to revive the space without overpowering its quiet dignity or disrupting the existing flora and fauna.<\/p>\n
