Kunpeng, derived from “Zhuangzi\u00b7Free and Easy Wandering”: “In the Northern Ocean, there is a fish called Kun, which transforms into a bird named Peng. The aspiration of the Kunpeng is to strike the waters for three thousand li and soar upon the whirlwind up to the azure sky.” Its philosophical essence is that only those with grand vision achieve true freedom. Naming the project after the Kunpeng reflects Vanke’s ambition and expansive perspective.<\/p>\n

The project occupies the prime corner within the Divine Beast Bay area at the heart of the lake. This cluster is a distinctive peninsula, commanding a central position within the Luxelakes water system. The combination of waterfront park, architecture, and bridges forms the scenery outside the window, while the undulating mountain ranges and surrounding buildings compose the external skyline.<\/p>\n

The very beam of morning light we sought finally finds its place here, gently spilling down. Slender metal strips shimmer like a stream under the sun, while platforms transform into resting stones bathed in light. This is a waystation on the journey\u2014a space for leisurely sitting, for meditation. It becomes a natural “vessel” that tenderly holds the romance of the passing seasons.<\/p>\n
