Clayton Korte<\/a><\/strong>\uff1aLocated in historic downtown Fredericksburg, Albert Hotel builds on the more than 175-year legacy of the Keidel family\u2019s relationship with this Hill Country town. Taking its name from Albert Keidel\u2014an architect, historic preservationist, and man-about-town\u2014the Keidel family\u2019s connection to Fredericksburg dates to 1847, when Albert\u2019s great-grandfather arrived to serve as the town doctor and judge. The hotel is located on the site where the Keidel family pharmacy and homestead still exist, both of which are integrated into the new hotel development.<\/p>\n

\u7531\u514b\u83b1\u987f\u00b7\u79d1\u5c14\u7279\u4e0e\u65b0\u6ed1\u94c1\u5362\u516c\u53f8\u5408\u4f5c\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u8fd9\u5bb6\u7cbe\u54c1\u9152\u5e97\u5c06\u5386\u53f2\u98ce\u8c8c\u4e0e\u73b0\u4ee3\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5de7\u5999\u878d\u5408\uff0c\u8425\u9020\u51fa\u9759\u8c27\u800c\u4f18\u96c5\u7684\u6c1b\u56f4\u3002\u9152\u5e97\u4fdd\u7559\u4e86\u591a\u5ea7\u5386\u53f2\u5efa\u7b51\u2014\u2014\u51ef\u5fb7\u5c14\u5bb6\u65cf\u4f4f\u5b85\uff08\u5efa\u4e8e1860\u5e74\uff09\u3001\u5e03\u7f57\u514b\u66fc-\u57fa\u5185\u5b85\u90b8\uff08\u5efa\u4e8e1870\u5e74\uff09\u3001\u51ef\u5fb7\u5c14\u836f\u623f\uff08\u5efa\u4e8e1906\u5e74\uff09\u4ee5\u53ca\u767d\u8c61\u9152\u9986\uff08\u5efa\u4e8e1888\u5e74\uff09\uff0c\u4ee5\u7ef4\u6301\u4f20\u7edf\u8857\u666f\u98ce\u8c8c\uff0c\u800c\u9152\u5e97\u4e3b\u4f53\u5219\u9690\u533f\u4e8e\u540e\u65b9\uff0c\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u5f3a\u5316\u4e86\u5b81\u9759\u907f\u4e16\u4e4b\u611f\u3002\u9152\u5e97\u5171\u8bbe105\u95f4\u5ba2\u623f\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u5bbf\u820d\u5f0f\u5ba2\u623f\u3001\u5957\u623f\u53ca\u79c1\u4eba\u4f4f\u5b85\u7b49\u591a\u79cd\u4f4f\u5bbf\u7c7b\u578b\uff0c\u6bcf\u95f4\u5747\u914d\u5907\u5b9a\u5236\u5316\u8bbe\u65bd\u548c\u4e13\u5c5e\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5bb6\u5177\u3002\u5360\u5730\u4e24\u82f1\u4ea9\u7684\u56ed\u533a\u5185\u8bbe\u6709\u4e09\u5bb6\u9910\u5385\u3001\u4e24\u5bb6\u9152\u5427\u548c\u4e00\u95f4\u79c1\u4eba\u7528\u9910\u5ba4\uff0c\u5e76\u63d0\u4f9b\u5ba2\u623f\u9001\u9910\u670d\u52a1\u3002\u4e00\u5ea7\u4e0b\u6c89\u5f0f\u6237\u5916\u77f3\u7070\u5ca9\u6cf3\u6c60\u4e0e\u4f11\u95f2\u533a\u4e3a\u5bbe\u5ba2\u5e26\u6765\u8fdc\u79bb\u5fb7\u5dde\u9177\u6691\u7684\u60ec\u610f\u4f11\u61a9\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u5176\u4ed6\u8bbe\u65bd\u8fd8\u5305\u62ec\u5065\u8eab\u4e2d\u5fc3\u548c\u4e00\u4e2a2000\u5e73\u65b9\u82f1\u5c3a\u7684\u5168\u670d\u52a1\u6c34\u7597\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3002\u9152\u5e97\u62e5\u67093600\u5e73\u65b9\u82f1\u5c3a\u7684\u4e13\u7528\u6d3b\u52a8\u573a\u5730\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca1200\u5e73\u65b9\u82f1\u5c3a\u7684\u5939\u5c42\u9732\u53f0\u548c\u6d3b\u52a8\u8349\u576a\uff0c\u53ef\u8f7b\u677e\u627f\u529e\u5404\u7c7b\u6d3b\u52a8\u3002\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u4e00\u5ea7\u72ec\u7acb\u7684\u53cc\u5c42\u505c\u8f66\u573a\u4f4d\u4e8e\u4e1c\u5965\u65af\u6c40\u8857\u5bf9\u9762\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b160\u4e2a\u505c\u8f66\u4f4d\u3002<\/p>\n

Designed by Clayton Korte in partnership with New Waterloo, the boutique hotel merges the past with a new contemporary design to create a venue of quiet sophistication. The historic structures\u2014Keidel family home (built in 1860), the Brockmann-Kiehne House (built in 1870),\u00a0Keidel Pharmacy\u00a0(built in 1906), and the White Elephant Saloon (built in 1888)\u2014preserve the traditional streetscape, while the hotel itself is tucked behind to reinforce the sense of peaceful escape. The hotel\u2019s 105 guest rooms include a mix of lodging, ranging from bunkrooms and suites\u00a0to a private house, each with tailored amenities and custom-designed furniture. The two-acre property features three restaurants, two bars, and a private dining room. In-room dining will be available. A sunken outdoor limestone pool\u00a0and lounge will offer guests a pleasant respite from the Texas heat. Other amenities include a fitness center and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Events are easily accommodated with a 3,600-square-foot dedicated event space and a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck and event lawn. A separate, two-level, 160-space parking garage is located directly across East Austin Street.<\/p>\n

The material palette of the new building draws from the surrounding Hill Country. Traditional wood siding is paired with a custom raked stucco finish, designed to capture and reflect the changing sunlight throughout the day. Generous roof overhangs protect interior spaces and walkways from the intense summer sun. The interiors reflect the softer side of Albert Keidel\u2019s global sensibilities\u2014layered and eclectic, warm yet unfussy, with unexpected discoveries throughout.<\/p>\n
