HID<\/strong><\/a>\uff1aBackground<\/p>\n

In 2024, we completed the “Tiger Flyer Mountain Forest” children’s playground by Liuquan Lake in Yichang’s Xiaoting District. Nestled into the rolling foothills, the project takes “Tiger Flyer” as its spiritual motif, creating a climbing and adventure system where children traverse and dash between hillside exploration loops and mound-based play structures. A year later, we return to Liuquan Lake\u2014this time with a design focus shifting from hillside to waterfront. The new site occupies a gentle slope along the lake shore, directly across the water from “Tiger Flyer Mountain Forest,” forming a key node in the lake’s ring-based recreation system. The two playgrounds establish a natural spatial dialogue: one nestled in the hillside woodlands, the other along the waterfront; one rooted in the hillside with an emphasis on climbing and exploration, the other opening onto the lake with a focus on water-play experiences.<\/p>\n
